Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of competence and motivation on employee performance at the Kerinci State Islamic Institute (IAIN). The data used in this study is primary data with a sample of 49 people. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results of the study show that competence has a significant effect on employee performance, this is evidenced by t count > t table (2.982 > 2.021), motivation has a significant effect on employee performance, this is evidenced by t count > t table ((-2.145) > (-2.021)) . Competence and motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance, this is evidenced by F count > F table (8.733 > 2.81). The magnitude of the influence of Competence and Motivation on Employee Performance at IAIN Kerinci simultaneously is 27.5% and the remaining 72.5% is influenced by other variables that were not examined in this study.

Abstract

Profesi guru bukan perkara yang mudah, tugas serta tanggung jawab yang dilaksanakan oleh guru sangatlah berat. Untuk mencerdaskan anak bangsa maka dibutuhkan guru yang berkualitas dan profesional serta memiliki kompetensi yang lengkap dalam bidangnya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian field research yaitu penelitian lapangan yang dilakukan secara langsung melalui kegiatan observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi untuk mendapatkan data secara lengkap, selanjutnya data tersebut dideskripsikan pada analisis penelitian. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui efektif atau tidaknya guru non keahlian dalam mengajar dan mengetahui apa saja faktor penghambat serta pendukung bagi guru non keahlian dalam mengajar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru non keahlian sudah melakukan pekerjaan manajemen mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan serta evaluasi sebagai tahap akhir dari pembelajaran. Namun hasil dari pembelajaran oleh guru non keahlian tidak sempurna, ini dibuktikan dengan peserta didik kesulitan dalam memahami materi yang disampaikan oleh guru, disebabkan guru kurang mampu menguasai materi dan metode yang sesuai dengan materi pembelajaran yang disampaikan

Abstract

Staff is responsible for ensuring that all regulations in an agency are followed. Due to indiscipline, work productivity frequently fails to reach work achievement targets. This study aims to reveal the work discipline of staff in the information technology unit and a database based on work output. This research was conducted using a qualitative method with a case study approach. The informants in this study were staff of the information technology unit and database, totalling three people. The researcher is the key instrument in collecting and interpreting the data in this study. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and document studies. Data analysis techniques in this study using Nvivo Plus version 11 software include data input, coding, exploration, visualization, and presentation. This study found that staff work discipline was perfect, as evidenced by the online presence of incoming and outgoing hours on time. Timeliness in data reporting can be completed on time if all the data available in the Siakad application is fixed and complete. The target of achieving work output from Pddikti data reporting is still at 80%. There are still many obstacles and problems that occur in data reporting. Efforts to improve and evaluate work output in the form of Pddikti data reporting have been carried out by all parties.

Abstract

A country's rapid economic growth requires it to provide various facilities to support its people's welfare and advance itself. However, this is often hindered by suboptimal economic activity in the community due to the country's economic conditions during a certain period. This study aims to determine the effects of inflation, the rupiah exchange rate, and export value on economic growth in Indonesia. The study uses an associative approach to identify the relationship between the research variables. The results indicate that inflation, the rupiah exchange rate, and export value influence Indonesia's economic growth both partially and simultaneously..

Abstract

In a dynamic and uncertain global business landscape, risk management and investment decision-making have become fundamental pillars for optimal operational performance and corporate sustainability. This study comprehensively analyzes existing literature to construct an understanding of how the integration of these two disciplines affects operational performance and sustainability, as well as identifying trends, challenges, and research gaps. This research uses a comprehensive literature review approach, identifying, analyzing, and synthesizing reputable scientific journal articles, industry reports, and other relevant publications from 2020 to 2025. Data was collected through systematic searches of academic databases using keywords related to risk management, investment, operational performance, and sustainability. The analysis was conducted through thematic and narrative synthesis to identify patterns, gaps, and best practice recommendations. The results of the study show that risk management plays a crucial role in investment decision-making, directly affecting profitability and operational efficiency. The integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into risk management and investment is increasingly important to promote corporate sustainability, where effective risk management can influence investment choices and contribute to stronger financial performance. Despite positive trends in the growth of the risk management and sustainable investment market in Southeast Asia, significant challenges remain, including a lack of ESG standardization and reporting, as well as complex cyber risk and human resource risk management. Effective integration between risk management and investment decision-making is essential for operational performance and long-term sustainability. However, challenges related to standardization and reporting require collaborative efforts from policymakers, practitioners, and academics. Suggestions for future research include studies that quantify the specific impact of integrating risk management and sustainable investment on operational and sustainability performance metrics across various sectors, particularly in emerging markets such as the property sector in Indonesia, with a focus on climate risk and digitalization.
