Abstract

Pembelajaran menulis teks yang dilaksanakan di sekolah menengah bertujuan agar siswa memahami konteks dan mampu menulis dalam berbagai genre. Penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang tepat merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar menulis siswa. 128 siswa dengan kemampuan serupa dipilih secara acak untuk belajar menulis. 64 siswa pada kelas kontrol mengikuti menulis dengan metode konvensional dan 64 siswa lainnya pada kelas eksperimen mengikuti menulis dengan flippedclassroom. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengelompokkan siswa menurut genre teks tertulis dan berdasarkan gender. Untuk mengetahui keefektifan metode digunakan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar yang signifikan antara pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan dengan metode konvensional dan flipped classroom. Metode konvensional terbukti kurang efektif dalam pembelajaran menulis teks, sedangkan metode flippedclassroom terbukti cukup efektif. Ditinjau dari genre teks yang ditulis siswa, flippedclassrooms lebih efektif dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksposur dibandingkan teks persuasi. Dilihat dari jenis kelamin siswa, model flipping class lebih efektif diterapkan pada siswa perempuan dibandingkan siswa laki-laki. Dengan demikian, Flipped Classroom dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks. Selain itu, budaya Minangkabau yang dijadikan konteks penulisan juga memberikan kemudahan bagi siswa laki-laki maupun perempuan untuk menuliskan idenya dalam berbagai genre teks. Dilihat dari jenis kelamin siswa, model flipping class lebih efektif diterapkan pada siswa perempuan dibandingkan siswa laki-laki. Dengan demikian, Flipped Classroom dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks. Abstract

Penelitian ini mengaji tentang representasi bahasa humor Raditya Dhika dalam acara Stand Up Comedy di Metro TV dari perspektif tindak tutur lokusi, ilokusi perlokusi yang menimbulkan kejenakaan. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan bahasa humor Raditya Dhika dalam acara Stand Up Comedy di Metro TV yang menimbulkan kejenakaan. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi tidak langsung atau biasa disebut dengan teknik analisis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang dihimpun, peneliti menemukan dan menunjukkan bahwa bahasa humor Raditya Dhika dalam acara Stand Up Comedy di Metro TV merupakan representasi kejenakaan dari perspektif tindak tutur lokusi, ilokusi dan perlokusi. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian ini merupakan monolog dari Raditya Dhika dalam acara Stand Up Comedy di Metro TV yaitu berupa kata dan kalimat yang terkait dengan tindak tutur dalam pragmatik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tindak tutur bahasa humor Raditya Dhika dalam acara Stand Up Comedy di Metro Tv merupakan representasi kejenakaan, yaitu: 1). Tindak tutur lokusi merepresentasikan kejenakaan dengan menggunakan kata dan kalimat-kalimat memutuskan, mendoakan, merestui, dan menuntut tanpa adanya tendensi apapun. 2). Tindak tutur ilokusi merepresentasikan kejenakaan dengan menggunakan kata dan kalimat-kalimat pemberian izin, mengucapkan terima kasih, menyuruh, menawarkan, dan menjanjikan, dengan adanya tendensi dari mitra tuturnya seperti, tepuk tangan, teriakan serta tawa yang timbul. 3) Tindak tutur perlokusi merepresentasikan kejenakaan dengan menggunakan kalimat-kalimat menipu, membesarkan hati, menganjurkan, meyakinkan, menjengkelkan, membingungkan, mengganggu, memengaruhi, memalukan, dan menarik perhatian serta adanya pengaruh yang didapat oleh mitra tuturnya seperti memikirkan apa yang diucapkan oleh Raditya Dhika. 107 106

Abstract

This research aims to determine the historical function of cyber pragmatics in Vania Winola's Instagram captions so that followers on her social media understand the meaning of the written in the captions. Caption is short text used to accompany an image which occurs below the upload. Cyber ??pragmatics is a branch of pragmatics that studies the meaning of speech in certain situations on social media. Therefore, this research was conducted to describe the function of cyber pragmatics in Vania Winola's Instagram captions. This research uses a cyber pragmatics approach using virtual ethnographic research methods. The research results that researchers have found are the historical function of cyber pragmatics in Vania Winola's Instagram captions. The research results have found that there are four pragmatic historical functions in Vania Winola's Instagram captions. The four functions of cyber pragmatics found in Vania Winola's Instagram caption include social, social , cultural and situational function.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the form of multimodal discourse in the Uniwara Carving Achievements for the Country video clip so that it can strengthen the message and intent to be conveyed. A video clip is a short video that accompanies music, generally a song to promote a record album. Multimodal is a term used to refer to the way people communicate using different modes at the same time which is defined as the use of several semiotic modes in product design, or semiotic events simultaneously, and in certain modes. Therefore, this research was conducted to describe the multimodal form in the video clip Uniwara Carving Achievements for the Nation. This research uses multimodal discourse analysis with a social semiotic approach. The research results found five forms of multimodality in the video clip Uniwara Carving Achievements for the Country. The five multimodal forms include language, image, music, sound and movement modalities.

Abstract

Desa Segoropuro merupakan salah satu desa di Kecamatan Rejoso Kabupaten Pasuruan Provinsi Jawa Timur yang saat ini dipimpin oleh Kepala Desa Sarli Efendi. Desa ini terdiri dari 3 dusun, yaitu Dusun Bedodo, Dusun Krajan dan Dusun Boto. Jumlah penduduk Segoropuro sebanyak 2.730 jiwa, dengan presentase 60% penduduknya bermata pencaharian sebagai petani, 20 % buruh pabrik dan 20% pekerja serabutan. Sehubungan dengan data administrasi Desa Segoropuro, Kecamatan Rejoso Kabupaten Pasuruan wilayah bagian utara berbatasan dengan Desa Tambak Lekok, wilayah bagian timur berbatasan dengan Desa Rowo Gempol, wilayah bagian selatan berbatasan dengan Desa Kemantren Rejo, wilayah bagian barat berbatasan dengan Desa Patuguran. Tujuan kegiatan ingin membantu permasalahan mitra sesuai dengan analisis situasi yang dirumuskan bersama mitra, yaitu meliputi: Meningkatkan Kualitas SDM Desa, Menjelaskan Potensi Ekonomi Desa, Meningkatkan Akses Pendidikan, Memperkuat Manajemen Sumber Daya Alam (SDA), dan Memperkuat Tata Kelola Desa. membantu mahasiswa dalam menerapkan ilmu pengetahuan di lapangan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan di Desa Segoropuro, Kegiatan seperti Project Based Learning (PBL) dapat membantu mahasiswa mengembangkan UMKM di Desa Segoropuro melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan serta membantu meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Desa Segoropuro dengan menyediakan pengajar yang berkualitas dan dapat membantu dalam meningkatkan tata kelola desa yang baik dan transparan

Abstract

This research started from the lack of variety of learning media in teaching and learning activities so it is necessary to develop a product in the form of comics as a learning medium. In the KD legend material. 311 and 4.11. The formulation of the problems contained in this study are: (1) How is the process of developing comic media for legend text speaking skills in seventh grade students of MTs Abu Amr. (This study aims to determine the process of developing comics media for legend text speaking skills in seventh grade students of MTs Abu Amr and the effectiveness of developing comic media for legend text speaking skills in seventh grade students of MTs Abu Amr. The research method used is Research and Development with the ADDIE model which includes 5 steps, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The results of the validation of 4 experts, namely 1 material expert, got an average score of 90% in the "Very Eligible" category, RPP experts got an average score of 95% in the "Very Eligible" category. Linguists get an average score of 93% in the "Very Eligible" category and Linguists get an average score of 95% in the "Very Eligible" category. Educator Response I got a score of 86% in the very decent category, educator II got a score of 84% in the very good category. The results of the speaking assessment test (retelling the contents of the legend) using comic media, students in the small group trial in class VII A got a score of 87% in the very good category, for the large group trial in class VII A got a score of 97% in the very good category.

Abstract

This study examines the social reality represented in the music video Mangu by Fourtwnty ft. Charita from a multimodal discourse perspective. The analysis focuses on the interplay of five modes language, image, music, sound, and movement that collectively construct emotional and social meanings. The research applies a qualitative descriptive method using Kress and van Leeuwen’s semiotic framework. Data were collected from the song lyrics, scenes, sound effects, and character movements in the video. The findings reveal that the poetic lyrics depict spiritual conflict and emotional separation, while visual elements such as warm tones, wooden houses, and dim lighting emphasize a nostalgic atmosphere. The minor-toned music with a slow tempo evokes sadness, whereas background sounds like door creaks and wind enhance realism. Minimalist body movements, including lowered gazes and turning away, symbolize uncertainty and resignation. The interaction of these modes reflects social realities of differing beliefs and existential confusion. This study highlights that music videos can serve as mediums of emotional and social reflection rather than mere entertainment.

Abstract

Introduction to The Problem: This research examines the economic empowerment model applied at Pondok Pesantren Karangasem Muhammadiyah Paciran, focusing on evaluating holistic sustainability through the triple bottom ine (TBL) framework. TBL is an approach that assesses an organization's performance not only from a financial aspect (profit) but also from its social (people) and environmental (planet) impact.Purpose/Objective Study: The main objective of this study is to analyze the extent to which the pesantren's empowerment model is able to integrate these three pillars to create sustainable welfare.Design/Methodology/Approach: Using a qualitative methodology, data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation studies.Findings: The research findings indicate that Pondok Pesantren Karangasem has successfully implemented two main TBL pillars very well, namely profit and people. The profits generated from various business units such as plantations and livestock are effectively used to finance pesantren operations and provide scholarships for underprivileged students, demonstrating success from the financial side. Furthermore, the people dimension is realized through the creation of job opportunities for the surrounding community, skills training programs, and the provision of affordable healthcare and educational services, which significantly improve community welfare. However, the research findings also reveal that the commitment to the planet or environmental pillar has not yet been optimally implemented. Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of a multimodal approach in learning. The method used in this study is an experimental research method whose implementation uses a quasi experiment type. The steps of implementing the effectiveness test, namely (1) determining the control group and the experimental group, (2) conducting the pretest, (3) carrying out learning in the control and experimental class, (4) conducting the postest, and (5) analyzing the experimental test results. The multimodal approach has been tested through the t-test to measure its effect on improving students' literary psychological analysis skills. The results of the effectiveness test showed that there was a significant difference in the psychological analysis abilities of students in general between the post-test scores of the control class and the experimental class (p = 0.00 <0.05). This shows that the two variances are not the same, so the use of the variance to compare the population average (t-test for Equality of Means) in the t-test test must be on the basis of equal variance not assumed. At the equal variance not assumed, a t value of 8.114 was obtained and a significance level of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, p = 0.000. These results indicate that p <0.05, means that there is a significant difference between groups of students who get treatment using a multimodal approach. Thus it can be said that there is a significant difference in student learning outcomes between the experimental class with the multimodal approach compared to the control class with conventional methods. From the results of the above analysis shows that Ho is rejected, because the significance level of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, while H1 was accepted because there was a significant difference between the increase in student learning outcomes in the experimental class and the control class.
