Abstract

Sekolah vokasi diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk bisa membantu memangkas tingkat pengangguran di Indonesia. Program revitalisasi dan berbagai kebijakan yang dilakukan masih belum cukup signifikan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kerja lulusan. Dalam konsep employability development, kemampuan kerja lulusan perlu dipersiapkan sejak dini dengan dasar penetapan arah karir yang matang. Melalui career development learning dengan tahapan dasar yaitu membangun self awareness dan opportunity awareness, maka disusunlah sebuah program yang terdiri dari berbagai aktivitas yang disebut Career Development Learning Program. Sebanyak 26 orang peserta yang berasal dari salah satu SMK di Jatinangor berpartisipasi dalam program ini. Berdasarkan hasil analisa, terdapat peningkatan self awareness yang signifikan pada siswa. Pasca program, peserta juga mengalami peningkatan upaya dalam career self exploration untuk membangun opportunity awareness mengenai dunia kerja. Hal ini menjadi tahapan kritis untuk menentukan aktivitas-aktivitas relevan yang dapat berkontribusi pada pengembangan employability siswa selama dipersiapkan di jenjang sekolah.

Abstract

Unemployment in Indonesia, especially in human resource competition of MEA era is not only occurring on low educated workforce, but also on higher educated (Bachelor). Whereas, ?obtain jobs not more than 4 months after graduating? is one of the performance indicator in University,  Fresh Graduate should be the determinant of Organization?s/Company?s sustainability and development. They should have readiness to face the high work demands. Readiness at work,  consists of ability (job readiness) and willingness (psychological readiness). The need analysis on Fresh Graduates of PTN-X Bandung shows that most of them need proper training to increase their readiness in entering working world. Therefore, it is important to do readiness training which called ?Psychological Readiness and Job Readiness Training? for Fresh Graduate of PTN- X in Bandung. This research is an action research with one group pretest?posttest design experimental approach. The result of this research shows that ?Psychological Readiness & Job Readiness Training? program is effective and plays a role in  increasing Fresh Graduates? readiness at work. The Increasing is more on  Willingness/Psychological Readiness aspect than Ability/Job Readiness aspect,  quite significantly in knowledge and the level of  readiness at work.Key words: Readiness at work, Willingness (Psychological Readiness), Ability (Job Readiness), Fresh Graduate  Pengangguran di Indonesia khususnya dalam persaingan tenaga kerja di era MEA tidak hanya terjadi pada angkatan kerja  berpendidikan formal yang rendah, namun juga pada sarjana.Padahal ?mendapat pekerjaan tidak lebih dari 4 bulan sejak kelulusan? merupakan salah satu indikator kinerja Prodi Sarjana di Perguruan Tinggi. Sarjana baru seyogyanya termasuk Sumber Daya Manusia penentu keberlangsungan dan kemajuan organisasi/perusahaan. Mereka selayaknya memiliki  kesiapan ( Readiness) dalam bekerja,  untuk dapat menghadapi tuntutan kerja yang tinggi. Kesiapan dalam bekerja terdiri dari kemampuan/ Kesiapan tugas (ability/Job Readiness)  dan  kemauan/ Kesiapan Psikologis (willingness/Psychological Readiness). Analisis kebutuhan pada sarjana baru di PTN-X Bandung, memperlihatkan bahwa sebagian besar dari mereka  membutuhkan pelatihan yang dapat meningkatkan Kesiapan di pekerjaan. Oleh karena itulah penting mengadakan pelatihan Kesiapan dalam bekerja yang disebut  Psychological Readiness  and Job Readiness Training bagi sarjana baru di PTN-X. Kajian ini bersifat action research  dengan pendekatan eksperimental  one group pretest-posttest design.  Hasil kajian menunjukkan program Psychologocal Readiness & Job readiness Training efektif,  berperan terhadap peningkatan Kesiapan dalam bekerja sarjana baru, lebih menonjol pada aspek Kemauan/Psychological Readiness daripada aspek Kemampuan/Job Readiness, cukup signifikan peningkatan di segi pengetahuan maupun taraf kesiapan dalam bekerja.Kata kunci: Kesiapan dalam bekerja, kemauan (Kesiapan Psikologis), kemampuan (Kesiapan Tugas),   Sarjana baru.

Abstract

Measuring school well-being in elementary school student is important. The experience of students at school will affect their perception, motivation and hope for their academic life in the future. We used Tripartite School Well-Being Model, based on the interaction among three aspects, namely school satisfaction, positive affect and negative affect. The aim of the study is to identify factors predicting the emergence of student’s positive affect and negative affect in elementary school. A total of 118 elementary school students of Class 6 in Bandung took a part in this study as respondent. The variables in this study were measured using three questionnaires: School Satisfaction, Positive Affect Student at School, and Negative Affect Student at School. Descriptive and inferential statistics through regression analysis was conducted to test the hypothesis. The results show that peer relationship, teacher-student relationship, and academic learning significantly contribute to build the positive affect of the student. Whereas, only the peer relationship predicted the negative affect of the student. This finding brings some practical implication for the educational process. The integrated multidimensional program which involves teacher, parents, peers, and student is crucial to promote student well-being at school.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of resilience on work readiness in MBKM (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka) internship students. Non-experimental correlational study design was used. A quantitative approach through regression and descriptive statistical analysis was used to analyze the collected data. Non-probability sampling, specifically the convenience sampling, was also used. Data collection was carried out through an online questionnaire using Google Forms. The respondents consisted of 140 students from a university in West Java who had participated in the MBKM internship program. The Resilience Quotient Test (RQ-Test) and Work Readiness Scale (WRS) were used to measure resilience and work readiness, respectively. The result of this study showed that resilience had a significant role on work readiness (r2 = 0.285; p = 0.000). This study is expected to present information and contribute theoretically towards resilience and its role towards work readiness in MBKM internship students. The result of this study can be used by students that participate in the internship program to evaluate themselves and to show them the importance of developing resilience for their work readiness in the future.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of self-referential stimuli on information retrieval from working memory in individuals with independent self-construal as a strategy for storing information in working memory. This research was conducted on 39 students using a within-participants post-test-only experimental design. The measuring instrument used is The Self-Construal Questionnaire with a Cronbach’s alpha reliability value of more than 0.70 and a content validity index between 3–4. Information retrieval (information accuracy and response time) is measured by giving a delayed matched-to-sample working memory task in three different conditions, namely where the information refers to oneself, a friend and a stranger. Based on the average accuracy, information related to friends was found to have the highest accuracy compared to the others. However, from the results of Friedman’s ANOVA test (p less than 0.05), the difference was not significant. The role of collectivist culture in Indonesia can make information with friend references considered more meaningful. Apart from that, there are differences in response time results where strangers require relatively faster time because they are influenced by information processing that involves a broader area of the brain.

Abstract

This counselling training activity aims to equip job introducers with counselling skills so they can do their role as counsellors for job seekers. The trainees are 180 introducers who are divided into 6 classes, so that each class has 30 participants. The implementation of the training is carried out for 2 days which is equivalent to 20 hours of training. The evaluation of the training program is carried out using level 2 evaluation based on Kirkpatrick evaluation method, which involves pre-training and post-training assessments. The results of this level 2 evaluation will explain whether this training is effective in terms of mastering the knowledge conveyed in the training. The evaluation results explained that 87% of participants increased their knowledge in counselling, 7% participants showed no difference in knowledge of counselling before and after the training program, 3% experienced a decrease in knowledge and 3% did not take the post-test. In order to improve the result of the training, it is recommended to reorganize the flow of the training program to ensure that the material covered is not too condensed within the two-day timeframe. It is suggested to extend the training duration to three days.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh efektivitas sugar labeling pada minuman kemasan terhadap intensitas membeli mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Padjadjaran angkatan 2024. Dengan metode kuantitatif eksperimental menggunakan desain between-participants pretest-posttest, sebanyak 63 mahasiswa berusia 17–20 tahun dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok: kontrol, label "High in Sugar," dan label "Guideline Daily Amount." Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner berbasis Theory of Planned Behavior yang memiliki reliabilitas sebesar 0,887, sehingga dianggap cukup andal untuk mengukur intensitas membeli. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov untuk mengevaluasi distribusi normalitas dan uji Kruskal-Wallis untuk menguji perbedaan rata-rata antara kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan signifikan pada intensitas membeli antara ketiga kelompok. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian sugar labeling belum cukup kuat untuk memengaruhi perilaku membeli mahasiswa secara keseluruhan. Faktor-faktor seperti kesadaran konsumen terhadap kesehatan, preferensi individu, kebiasaan membeli, dan sikap terhadap informasi label gula diduga menjadi pengaruh utama. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan sampel lebih besar, variasi label gula yang lebih luas, serta cakupan lokasi penelitian yang lebih beragam untuk mendukung generalisasi hasil yang lebih baik pada masa depan.

Abstract

Boba is currently one of the favorite products consumed by generation Z. Popularity of boba products can be seen from the purchases level of boba and how it is viral on the internet such as Instagram, twitter, Zomato, or food blogs. The spread on the internet is called electronic wordof-mouth (EWOM). One of the factors that increase EWOM is customer satisfaction. The study was conducted to explain the relationship between customer satisfaction and EWOM using the correlation study method. This study involved 111 respondents. The sample characteristics are students who have bought boba and have posts about boba in the internet. The consumer satisfaction measurement tool was adapted from Martín Consuegra et al. (2007).. Meanwhile, the EWOM measuring instrument was adapted from the Jeong and Jang (2011). The results show that there is a significant relationship between customer satisfaction and EWOM. The higher the consumer satisfaction, the higher the spread of positive EWOM regarding boba products. Results also show that women do the spread of EWOM higher because satisfaction encourages their desire to promote their favorite boba products to others. Consumers who have deployed EWOM can increase loyalty to the products used because consumers experience high satisfaction with their products. Sellers can increase consumers’ loyalty by paying attention to the product quality and service so that consumers feel satisfied with the products used and disseminate the product information.
