Abstract

Kemplang ikan adalah salah satu jenis olahan produk perikanan yang terbuat dari bahan baku campuran ikan dan tepung tapioka atau tepung sagu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi usaha kemplang ikan Ibu Marisah secara teknis dan ekonomis. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode studi kasus. Lokasi penelitian pada Usaha Kemplang Ikan Ibu Marisah di Desa Pelabuhan dalam Kecamatan Pemulutan Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Bahan baku dan bahan penunjang pembuatan kemplang ikan diperoleh dari Kota Palembang. Tenaga kerja yang dilibatkan adalah ibu rumah tangga di sekitar lokasi penelitian. Produksi kemplang ikan per hari sekitar 18.000 keping dengan harga jual Rp 180 per keping. Jenis kemplang yang dijual berupa kemplang mentah (belum dipanggang).  Pemasaran kemplang ini sudah merambah ke luar Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, bahkan ke luar pulau Sumatera. Titik Pulang Pokok (Break Event Point) yang diperoleh dalam satuan unit rata-rata sebesar 15.952,78 keping sedangkan dalam satuan rupiah rata-rata sekitar Rp 159,53 per keping, sehingga dapat disimpulkan usaha kemplang Ibu Marisah layak untuk terus dikembangkan.

Abstract

This study aims to find out whether or not the writing scores of the eleventh-grade students who were taught by using peer responses were higher than those who were not taught. This methodology of research was a true experimental design and applied pre-test and post-test. The population of this study was the eleventh grade the sample was two classes were experimental and control group. By using the cluster random sampling technique two groups were taken as samples. The data collection technique used was a written test. The instrument was tested on students at Senior High School 4 of Palembang. Based on the test of students learning outcomes using the peer responses technique, they were in the good category with significant results, namely t table 5.089, significant level 0.05 with df = 48. Based on the results of this study, it could be concluded that there was a significant difference in students writing scores using peer responses, so the peer responses technique is declared effective to be used.

Abstract

The researcher aimed to identify the types of grammatical errors and the frequencies and percentages of each type of grammatical error. The method of this research was qualitative descriptive. The data of the research were taken from fifteen job advertisement texts of document publications, namely JS. The data analysis used the theory from Creswell that there were seven steps in analyzing errors which included: organizing and preparing the data analysis, reading all the data, starting coding all of the data, using the coding process to generate a description of the setting as well as categories for analysis, quantifying the errors, and interpreting the description, and drawing a conclusion. The errors found in the fifteen English job advertisement texts, there were four types of errors with the frequencies and percentages of each type of grammatical error. There were 250 errors made by advertisement text writers. The errors were 91 items (36.4%) of omission errors, 20 items (8.0%) of addition errors, 138 items (55.2%) of misformation errors, and 1 item (0.4%) of misordering errors. The result of the research could be used as input to avoid further errors.

Abstract

Desa Sungsang, Kecamatan Banyuasin II, memanfaatkan potensi maritim dengan hasil tangkapan laut melimpah sebagai sumber utama pendapatan. Penelitian ini menganalisis pendapatan dan efisiensi usaha pengolahan udang, meliputi pempek, botor, dan kerupuk udang. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan literatur. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa usaha pengolahan pempek udang memiliki nilai R/C ratio sebesar 1,28, sedangkan botor dan kerupuk udang masing-masing memiliki nilai R/C ratio sebesar 1,89. Nilai tersebut menunjukkan bahwa usaha ini efisien dan layak untuk dikembangkan karena setiap pengeluaran sebesar 1 rupiah mampu menghasilkan pendapatan lebih dari 1 rupiah. Pendapatan rata-rata per produksi adalah Rp.179.026,70 untuk pempek, Rp.495.172,13 untuk botor, dan Rp.642.116,77 untuk kerupuk, dengan biaya total masing-masing sebesar Rp.630.306,63, Rp.558.161,20, dan Rp.717.883,23 Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, usaha pengolahan udang di Desa Sungsang terbukti layak secara finansial dan memiliki potensi besar untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut.   Sungsang Village, located in Banyuasin II District, leverages its abundant marine resources as the primary source of income. This study analyzes the income and efficiency of shrimp-based processing businesses, including pempek, botor, and shrimp crackers. The research utilizes a survey method with purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and literature reviews. The analysis results show that the R/C ratio for pempek is 1.28, while for botor and shrimp crackers, it is 1.89. These values indicate that the businesses are efficient and feasible for further development, as every expenditure of 1 rupiah generates revenue exceeding 1 rupiah. The average income per production cycle is IDR 179,026.70 for pempek, IDR 495,172.13 for botor, and IDR 642,116.77 for shrimp crackers, with total production costs amounting to IDR 630,306.63, IDR 558,161.20, and IDR 717,883.23, respectively. Based on the findings, shrimp processing businesses in Sungsang Village are financially viable and hold significant potential for further development.

Abstract

This study explored the use of Kahoot, a game-based learning platform, in assessing students' reading comprehension of narrative texts among tenth-grade students at SMK Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara. Using a qualitative descriptive method, this research investigated how Kahoot could enhance student engagement and provide meaningful feedback in the reading classroom. Data were collected through classroom observation, student interviews, and document analysis. The findings revealed that Kahoot had a positive effect on students' motivation, encouraged active participation, and helped teachers assess students' understanding in a fun and interactive way. The study suggested that Kahoot could be an effective alternative assessment tool for English language teachers, especially in the context of reading comprehension
