Abstract

Penelitian ini menyelidiki pengaruh strategi story-mapping dalam mengajar pemahaman membaca teks bahasa Inggris, yang menggunakan kuasi-faktorial dengan desain pretest-posttest. Temuan penelitian ini mengungkapkan pengaruh yang signifikan secara statistik antara sebelum dan sesudah tes. Dengan kata lain, ada perbedaan yang signifikan setelah diajarkan dengan menggunakan strategi story-mapping. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh beberapa alasan. Pertama, pelaksanaan strategi story-mapping membantu siswa untuk mengatur informasi yang mereka dapatkan dari bahan bacaan dengan cara efektif. Dengan melatih siswa untuk mencari kata kunci dari setiap paragraf dan menuliskan informasi dari kata kunci memberikan kesempatan bagi siswa untuk mengingat informasi detail dari bahan bacaan. Selain itu, kegiatan meringkas membantu siswa untuk menganalisis dan mengevaluasi informasi dari bacaan. Dengan demikian siswa dilatih untuk berpikir kritis dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di setiap pertemuan. Kedua, strategi story-mapping mencegah kebosanan siswa pada kegiatan pembelajaran khususnya pada materi pemahaman bacaan teks bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the modin social contribution to the transformation of nyadran tradition in Pagelaran Malang, as well as the concrete forms of modin's involvement in the transformation of the tradition. This study uses descriptive qualitative research method that seeks to produce descriptive data in the form of narration about the observed phenomena, expressions or notes that occur during the research process naturally and holistically (intact). This research was conducted in Pagelaran, a sub-district of Malang Regency, namely in the Village of Banjarejo and the Hamlet of Sukoarum. In connection with the main issues, namely the role or social contribution of modin in the nyadran cultural transformation, there were several findings: (1) the social contribution of modin is coordinating with religious leaders and elders to holding tahl?l and istigh?tsah at the nyadran in Sukoarum, compiling the Islamic nyadran program in collaboration with other village officials for it, socializing nyadran to the hamlet communities order to participate in preserving the culture, as well as participating and at the same time as the coach of the tradition in the hamlet, (2) the concrete forms of Modin's involvement in the nyadran transformation are: actively participating in tahl?l and istigh?tsah in pasarean (cemetery) Sukoarum until now, monitoring Islamic religious activities at the location of the pasarean by holding tahl?l every thursday night legi, working with donors to participate in orphanage compensation every nyadran on 1 Muharram (1 Suro), in collaboration with the Hamlet Head of Sukoarum to continue preserving the cultural tradition of nyadran.

Abstract

The focus of the problems in this study are: (1) the forms of student delinquency in MTs Babussalam; (2) the efforts of Islamic Education Teachers in overcoming student delinquency in MTs Babussalam; (3) the factors can influence student delinquency in MTs Babussalam. This research used is a qualitative descriptive approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. Then analyzing the data, reducing, and verifying. The results shows that the form of student delinquency in MTs Babussalam Banjarejo classified as minor violations often do not go to school, play truant in terms of half entering class hours and go home after breaking time, late, quarreling, or disorderly with rules existing schools.  The factors that influence student delinquency in MTs Babussalam Banjarejo include technological development; social factors including environmental influences and peer influences; and awareness factors. There are some efforts taken by the Islamic education teachers in overcoming student delinquency problems at MTs Babussalam Banjarejo, namely personal approach, coaching, habituation, and collaboration with related parties such as student guardians and boarding school administrators as parents' representatives for students who live in boarding schools.

Abstract

This research aims to find out whether there is an influence of the Tik Tok channel nofreeadi10 application on the speaking development of 8 MTS An-Nur Sumberurip. This research uses qualitative research methods in this research to make it easier, the researcher acts as documentation and reference by collecting data directly through interviews, observation and documentation. Interviews were conducted with grade 8 students and the English teacher at MTS An-Nur Sumberurip. From the results of the research conducted, the speaking skills of students in class 8 are very low due to: 1) lack of honing their speaking skills 2) school facilities. The researcher asked the English teacher for help in conducting speaking lessons via the TikTok channel nofreaadi10 to find out the effect of this method on students' speaking abilities. English language teachers use this method in between lessons.

Abstract

Vocabulary is all the words belonging to a language owned by a person or also owned by a speaker. The more vocabulary you have, the more skilled a person's patterns are in writing, such as narrative writing. To communicate information or roles to its readers, it needs a lot of words. In this research, the researcher applied Modeling The Way to solve the problems that were faced by the students. This research was conducted in order to Improving Vocabulary in Students’ Speaking Ability by Using Modelling The Way for the Fourth Grade at MI Miftahul Huda Prangas. In conducting this research, the researcher used Classroom Action Research (CAR) as the method of research. The researcher conducted this research in two cycles. First cycle is guiding consisted of two meetings and second cycle is implementing consisted of one meeting. The researcher used modeling The Way to make pleasant atmosphere during teaching and learning process of vocabulary, and more importantly to improve vocabulary in students’ speaking ability. The subject of this research was the students of fourth grader students in MI Miftahul Huda Prangas. The instruments to collect the data were observation checklist, and vocabulary test. The result of this research showed that by using Modeling The Way Technique in teaching vocabulary, especially in daily activities. The researcher could improve vocabulary of the students. Their responses showed that they were interested to learn vocabulary subject because they felt easier to memorizing vocabulary, understand and got new vocabulary using Modeling The Way Technique. Based on the result of cycle 1 the average of their score is 74. The result of cycle 2, the average of their score is 81

Abstract

The activities of malang hat dance that require basic movement techniques as learning for early childhood. It seems that poor hat dance has difficulty level that requires agility, accuracy, and speed precisely. The purpose of the study was to describe the increase in children's kinesthetic intelligence through malangan hat dance in group B in RA Kalimosodo Gedangan-Malang. Classroom Action Research (Action Research) by applying two cycles through the process of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques are done by interview, observation, and documentation. The results of the assessment and discussion carried out through Cycle I and Cycle II focused on movement techniques based on agility, accuracy, and speed with the final result of the success indicator process 64% to 84%. This study experienced an increase between cycles with a percentage of 20% with a moderate category that manifested the success in the application of the malangan hat dance activity that could improve kinesthetic intelligence in group B children.

Abstract

The level of difficulty reading the Al-Qur'an will affect aspects of early childhood development by determining the learning method that is the ummi method. The purpose of this research is to describe the process of applying the ummi method and the supporting and inhibiting factors of applying the ummi method through learning to read the Qur'an based on the level of difficulty. Leather research methods to reveal descriptive data. Data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, and documents. The results of the study revealed that first, determining the standard of achievement of the ummi method in accordance with the stage of his age, forming groups based on children's abilities, and preparing the concept of learning to read the Qur'an through volumes of textbooks. Second, the supporting and inhibiting factors emphasize the role of educators and parents in collaborating to develop learning innovations and managing the time to learn to read the Qur'an early childhood. This study concluded that reading the Qur'an is very important to apply to children from an early age as the basis for understanding the pronunciation in accordance with makhroj, tajwid, and tartil.

Abstract

The outdoor drawing learning is one of the strategies to build a learning atmosphere so that children are free to express themselves. The research objectives included the development of children's spatial visual intelligence, outdoor and indoor learning, and the effect of outdoor drawing learning on visual spatial intelligence in group B children at RA Al-Fattah Wajak. The research method focuses on quantitative research with a pre-experimental research design in the form of one-group, pretest-posttest design. The results of the research seen through the Pre Test and Post Test data showed a very significant change between the X results with a percentage of 0.7%, while Y with a percentage of 40.8%. Meanwhile, the comparison between learning needs through indoor and outdoor between X results with a percentage of 4.9%, while Y learning outcomes with a percentage of 52.9%. The qualitative results show that learning to draw outdoors using the play method and field trips affects spatial visual intelligence in four aspects. The research suggestion lies in the achievement results which can be improved according to the aspect indicators that are more extended, with more interesting learning innovations.

Abstract

Education for autistic children can be properly considered in terms of providing facilities and infrastructure that support developmental aspects like normal children. The aim is to describe cognitive abilities in early childhood. The research method used is qualitative in this type of descriptive research. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation on four children at RA Sunan Giri Tajinan-Malang in 2021 data. The results and discussion of the cognitive development of children with autism can be seen from the form of understanding of concepts and visual abilities in children. These changes occur during the growth and development period since pre-prenatal. So, educators carry out treatment as a simple therapy in learning flash cards in the cognitive field. The diversity of media in the form of colored flash cards is able to provide stimulus to children's cognition more effectively and efficiently. Apart from that, flash card media helps train children's physical motor skills such as mouth movements. As well as, assisting in forming an understanding of the material in thinking patterns through face to face, group and individual techniques using conceptual methods as a learning strategy. The researcher's suggestion is to create an attractive and modern form of flash card media.

Abstract

English is an international language that is widely studied in various countries. However, English is already like a currency, one side of which is considered fun, and the other side is considered complicated and troublesome. Because researchers believe that students need English as an essential element in the modern world, such as education or even work, researchers' perceptions may be different from the perceptions of students so different perceptions will emerge from one person to the other. To analyze this, the researchers put Al-Qolam students of non-English-language Tarbiyah Faculty as objects. The study aims to know perceptions of the necessary of English and also to know the English language needs of Al-Qolam students of Non-English Tarbiyah Faculty.So, it can be found and concluded that many of the students give a positive perception, not just English students who need expertise in English. However, even non-English students realize that English is important and needed. Because they also need learning resources, books, and journals that use English. To help the process and development of their studies. Students also have the perception that English is not only needed at the time of learning but English is also needed for the future. Then it was discovered that it was important to have an analysis of the needs of students in a learning process. So, the researchers found that Al-Qolam students need a skill in reading. According to the student's perception, the skill of reading can help the process of teaching needed to help understand the learning sources, books, or journals that use the English language. With that skill of reading, students acquire knowledge and add vocabulary automatically.
