Abstract

This article aims to examine the views of Hindu and Buddhist spiritualism related to efforts to deal with environmental damage in Indonesia and try to find common ground between Hindu and Buddhist spiritualism regarding environmental preservation with the teachings of Sufism in Islam. The method used in this article is library research with a descriptive-qualitative approach. The research shows that the ecological damage that has occurred in Indonesia is very worrying. This happens because humans have no concern for their environment, they only focus on taking the maximum benefit for profit alone. Religion has authority in environmental preservation by instilling ethics and morals in humans. Spirituality in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam is aimed at getting closer to God. There is a concept for each religion to increase one's spirituality, namely through bhakti marga yoga in Hinduism, hasta ariya magha in Buddhism, and Sufism in Islamic teachings. The concepts shared by each of these religions have in common to shape one's spirituality which can be reflected in a moral person. Immoral cases such as environmental damage are a big thing that can be solved by increasing one's spirituality.

Abstract

The condition of Indonesian education is still weak as shown by several surveys regarding the quality of education. This is made worse by pandemic conditions which require the learning system to adapt to the conditions that occur. Indonesia is experiencing learning loss so it needs to be overcome optimally to improve the quality of Indonesian education. This research aims to analyze the new paradigm of Indonesian education, especially in madrasah, which occurred after the policy of using the Merdeka curriculum. Madrasah as one of the educational institutions that are characterized by Islamic content must be able to adapt to the current curriculum and the increasingly developing times. This research was conducted using library research with a descriptive-qualitative research approach. To support the method used, researchers collected data through documentation obtained from searching for written data regarding the themes raised. The results of the research conducted show that the Merdeka curriculum is designed to overcome the backwardness of Indonesian education and align with technological developments. Madrasah is one of the Indonesian educational units that participates in efforts to educate the Indonesian nation through the Merdeka curriculum. The new paradigm for madrasah in implementing the Merdeka curriculum lies in the use of constructivism theory, making madrasah a means of strengthening students' character and developing skills, flexible and using a differentiated learning approach, and integrated with technology.

Abstract

Affective domain assessments that assess the emotional, motivational, attitude, interest, and spirit of learners have the same urgency as cognitive and psychomotor domains. The three domains that are the learning objectives are important positions in learning. But in actualization, the psychomotor and affective domains are often ignored, because they are too complicated and long in time. While the cognitive realm that emphasizes knowledge gets the maximum portion. This is an interesting thing to discuss with the aim of analyzing the assessment of the affective domain in PAI learning at SDN Rampal Celaket 2 Malang along with its supporting and inhibiting factors. Researchers will conduct research with a qualitative-descriptive approach to examine the assessment of affective domains in PAI learning at SDN Rampal Celaket 2 Malang. The data that has been obtained and collected will be analyzed using Milles and Huberman data analysis which includes data reduction, data presentation and conclusions from the data that has been analyzed. According to research that has been conducted, it shows that the assessment of the affective realm at SDN Rampal Celaket 2 Malang is carried out in several stages, there are planning, implementation, and evaluation. In planning, teachers make tables containing statements and assessment scales to be used in their implementation. The implementation is carried out through observation of students and conducting interviews with other teachers. While in the evaluation, the teacher analyzes the non-achievement of students at the assessment threshold. Students who are below the threshold will receive treatment to improve their affective learning outcomes.

Abstract

The Qur'an as a guide of Muslims has a fairly high concern by scholars. There are views that some verses in the Qur'an are contradictory, so that this leads to the study of nasikh-mansukh. The study is not necessarily accepted by all scholars or observers of Qur'anic science, because according to them there can be no revision in the Qur'an. This research tries to discuss nasikh-mansukh studies both related to understanding, differences of opinion, orientalist views to the wisdom of studying them using qualitative methods from library data. This study found that differences of opinion in the scholarly environment occurred due to differences in the roots of their studies. With the nasikh-mansukh theory one can understand why there are verses that textually seem contradictory.

In obtaining data as research material, researchers use library data (library research) with documentation methods. Based on the results of research analysis, it can be seen that in the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him) education had grown through his teachings and guidance from Allah Almighty through the intermediary of the angel Gabriel. This research reveals that in historical facts the Prophet (peace be upon him) educated in a surreptitious and overt way, due to unstable environmental conditions. The knowledge conveyed by the Prophet (saw) is based on the Qur'an as a guide book for Muslims.

Abstract

Moral degradation is increasingly coming to the surface, this is one of the negative impacts of the progress of the times that have entered the digital era. The progress of the times can actually be an opportunity to increase competitiveness, because it’s easy to access all sources of knowledge. But the facts, on the ground show that the progress of the times also has a negative effect, the one is moral degradation. This happens because students don’t have the maturity of thinking and need strict instructions in its use. Character as a personality formed from habits can be a fortress for students to face the increasingly brilliant progress of the times. Character cultivation cannot be separated from the role of teachers as educators in schools who have obligations in shaping the character of students. This study will discuss the position of teachers in building the character of students so that students have mental maturity to face existing changes. This research uses a type of literature research with a qualitative approach. To support the use of these types and approaches, researchers collect data using documentation methods. The results of this study show that character education is an important guide for students to face changes in the progress of the times. Through noble character, students can sort out what is appropriate and what is not. It takes a massive role of teachers so that character cultivation in students is maximized. This character education does not only focus on one level of learning but must be taught throughout life.

Abstract

This research was conducted as an analysis of the gaps that occur in Al-Islam Education. The label of religion that can become a dogma in society about behavior that good and bad activities be so as to encourage people to behave well, in fact no longer works. The increasingly widespread moral degradation is taken seriously by the government with the existence of differentiated learning in the Merdeka Curriculum which can build a pleasant and meaningful learning atmosphere so that the values of Islamic teachings can be conveyed completely. This study used qualitative research with primary data through interviews with Al-Islam Education teachers at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo. Data processing and analysis techniques gradually through data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. This research shows that the implementation of differentiated learning in Al-Islam Education at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo is carried out well and systematically through 3 stages, namely planning, learning, implementing learning, and evaluating learning. The planning stage is carried out training related to learning, diagnostic assessment, formulation of learning outcomes, learning objectives, Learning Objectives Flow (ATP), and teaching modules. The implementation stage is a means for teachers, students, and learning resources to interact with the principle of independence so that teachers organize learning based on the needs of students. The last stage is evaluation, both formative carried out during learning and summative contained at the end of learning aimed at assessing and improving the learning that has been carried out.

Abstract

This article examines the role of Tarekat (Sufi) educational institutions in promoting social change in Lamongan, Indonesia, a region known for Islamic radicalism. Tarekat institutions have often been seen as disconnected from social change, primarily seen as ascetic and otherworldly, not concerned with social issues. However, this study argues that these institutions can play a crucial role in countering radicalism. While government efforts to counter radicalism and deradicalisation focus on conventional methods, tarekat institutions remain undervalued as cultural assets in this context. The research uses a qualitative phenomenological approach, including interviews, observation and documentation. Findings suggest that Sufi educational institutions are instrumental in curbing the spread of radicalism, particularly in Solokuro, Lamongan. The curriculum, which emphasises peace and love, contributes significantly to deradicalisation efforts and provides an effective cultural countermeasure to radicalism in the region.
