Abstract

Madrasah  sebagai  lembaga  pendidikan  yang  berciri  khas  Islam  sangat menarik  perhatian  dalam  rangka melaksanakan  cita-cita  pendidikan nasional,  bukan  semata-mata  karena  faktor  jumlah  peserta  didiknya yang signifikan tetapi juga karakteristik madrasah yang relevan dengan semangat reformasi sistem pendidikan nasional. (pemerataan, education for all, desentralisasi, dll). Di tengah-tengah upaya pemerintah menggulirkan kebijakan  tentang  desentralisasi  pendidikan,  madrasah  sudah  sangat terbiasa dengan esensi kebijakan tersebut. Karena kebanyakan madrasah lahir dari masyarakat (swasta) untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pendidikan agama  anak-anak  mereka.  Dalam  sejarah  perkembangannya  yang panjang, madrasah memiliki banyak hal yang positif dan negatif. Sisi positif madrasah, di antaranya adalah lembaga pendidikan ini lahir dari masyarakat bawah dan terbiasa mandiri. sisi negatif, antara lain adalah berkembangnya sikap ortodoksi yang ditunjukkan sebagian besar madrasah akibat  adanya  perlakuan  yang  diskriminatif   dari  pemerintah  kolonial dan Orde Baru. Namun di saat madrasah dihadapkan pada kebijakan standarisasi pendidikan melalui PP. 19 Tahun 2005, banyak persoalan yang menyeruak dan perlu dipecahkan oleh madrasah. Melalui penelitian ini, peneliti ingin melihat persiapan Madrasah Aliyah menyongsong era standarisasi pendidikan dan bagaimana peran perguruan tinggi agama Islam,  dalam  membantu  madrasah  menghadapi  penerapan  kebijakan tentang standarisasi pendidikan.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe and analyze the madrasahs’ activities in encouraging community-based education (CBE) reinforcement. The setting of this research was Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Nurul Mujtahidin Mlarak Ponorogo. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study. Researchers used interviews, observation, and documentation to collect the data. The research data were validated through the triangulation technique. Moreover, the data were analyzed using the data analysis techniques of the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana models, including data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This research shows some activities to realize community-based education (CBE) in Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Mujtahidin Mlarak Ponorogo. They help the students find foster parents or sponsors and equip them with skills needed to plunge into community life, such as embroidery and sewing skills, screen printing, motorcycle workshops, computer services, blacksmith and steel processing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak pembelajaran berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI) terhadap peningkatan keterampilan kognitif dan afektif siswa di MI Al-Irsyad Kota Tangerang. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan desain eksperimen dengan dua kelompok siswa: kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis AI dan kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Penilaian dilakukan melalui pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur perubahan dalam keterampilan kognitif dan afektif siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis AI memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan siswa, baik dalam aspek kognitif (kemampuan memahami, menganalisis, dan menerapkan konsep) maupun aspek afektif (motivasi belajar dan keterlibatan emosional). Kelompok eksperimen menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 16,9 poin pada posttest, sedangkan kelompok kontrol hanya mengalami peningkatan sebesar 6,4 poin. Hasil uji statistik menggunakan uji-t independen menunjukkan perbedaan yang sangat signifikan antara kedua kelompok (t = 8,765, p < 0,05), yang mengindikasikan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis AI lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan kognitif dan afektif siswa dibandingkan dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti potensi pembelajaran berbasis AI dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa melalui pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih personal dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan masing-masing siswa. Namun, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa tantangan yang perlu diatasi, seperti kesiapan guru dalam mengadaptasi teknologi, keterbatasan infrastruktur, dan perlunya pengembangan kurikulum yang mendukung integrasi AI dalam pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, penerapan pembelajaran berbasis AI di sekolah memerlukan dukungan dari berbagai pihak, termasuk pemerintah, sekolah, dan guru, agar dapat berjalan efektif dan mencapai hasil yang maksimal dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of social media, specifically YouTube, on the religious practices of millennial students in Ponorogo. The increasing reliance of millennials on YouTube as a primary source of religious content indicates a shift from traditional religious education to digital platforms, driven by YouTube’s diverse content offerings. The research aims to explore this phenomenon by employing a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method. Using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), the study examines the factors influencing the acceptance and use of YouTube for religious learning. At the same time, Social Construction Theory was applied to understand how social interactions and media influence students' religious practices. The findings reveal that YouTube facilitates religious engagement without time or location limitations, offering a flexible, innovative platform for spreading religious messages. Millennial students in Ponorogo construct their religious practices through externalization, objectivation, and internalization, with YouTube as a central medium. This study presents new insights into the shift in religious patterns among millennials, where YouTube content broadens their religious understanding and influences beliefs, encompassing both moderate and conservative perspectives.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Modern Darussalam Gontor adalah salah satu lembaga pendidikan Islam yang ada di Indonesia. penelitian ini akan mengungkap model Islam moderat yang diunggulkan oleh Trimurti (tiga pemimpin pondok Darussalam,) dan akan menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkannya moderat dalam menanggapi isu-isu Islam, kebangsaan dan pendidikan. penelitian tergolong dalam penelitian lapangan bersifat kualitatif dan menggunakan metode diskriptif analisis. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa Pondok Pesantren Gontor telah memberikan kontribusi model Islam moderat secara signifikan. Dalam aspek Islam, lembaga pendidikan ini menerapkan prinsip Berdiri diatas dan untuk semua golongan. Moderasi Islam Gontor dengan model teologi Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'ah, tidak fanatik pada aliran pemikiran Islam tertentu, sehingga menjadi jembatan dan mediator bagi semua golongan. Dalam masalah politik, kebijakan Gontor adalah menerima Pancasila sebagai dasar Negara Indonesia dan mendukung Kesatuan Republik Indonesia. Dibidang pendidikan, pendidikan Gontor mengimplementasikan modernisasi sistem pendidikan untuk menciptakan banyak sarjana Muslim yang berpikiran luas.

Abstract

Along with the development of digitalization, the character of elementary school-age children is experiencing many problems. Among these problems is related to the development of religious character. Problems related to religious character include; indifferent to the practice of prayer, preferring foreign cultures, attaches more importance to games than learning to read the Quran, prefers to bully rather than appreciate. To foster the development of children's religious character, there needs to be an internalization of pesantren values, these values are the five souls of modern boarding schools consisting of; The soul of simplicity, the soul of simplicity, the soul of independence, the soul of Islamic ukhuwah and the soul of freedom. This study seeks to describe the process of internalizing the value of the K.H. Imam Zarkasyi Islamic boarding school at MI Al-Hikmah Ponorogo. The approach of this research is qualitative, the type of case study results show that the internalization of values to the Kyai Haji Imam Zarkasi Islamic boarding school at MI Al-Hikmah Ponorogo has a significant impact on the development of students' religious character. Internalization of religious character through a full-day school program with the strategy used, namely planning concepts and materials taught. The obstacles to the internalization of religious character based on the values of K.H. Imam Zarkasyi's pesantren at MI Al-Hikmah Ponorogo are sourced from internal and external factors.

Abstract

Curriculum, as a soft component, is vital as a guiding tool to achieve the vision and mission determined by each educational institution. Therefore, curriculum development for an educational institution should consider aspects of student development, community needs and developments in science and technology. This research wants to see how the head of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and the teachers in the Ponorogo Ma'arif Education Institute interpret the development of the Islamic Education curriculum so that various subjects in the Islamic Education family can be achieved according to the goals formulated. This study uses an interpretive paradigm through a qualitative approach, a case study type. Data collection techniques use in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The analysis tool used is the qualitative analysis model of Miles and Huberman data reduction, data display and verification. I checked data validity using triangulation; credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability. The study results show that the development of the Islamic Education curriculum is interpreted as a strategic activity to develop Madrasahs and link one component of the Islamic Education curriculum with other members. The development of the Islamic Education curriculum at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah within the Ponorogo Ma'arif Educational Institution follows the stages of curriculum development consisting of planning, organizing, implementing, human resources, control, and a comprehensive mechanism.

Abstract

Evaluative study is a type of research to identify the relationship between goals, processes, results, and the impact of the implementation of a certain program or activity. The current research aimed to evaluate the program of tahfidz (Qur’an memorization) in several junior high schools of pesantren (SMP Pesantren) around Ponorogo Regency. It is qualitative research with multisite study. The informants were selected by purposive and snowball sampling techniques. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. They were analyzed using the interactive technique of Miles and Huberman, which included data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results suggested that tahfidz program at schools of pesantren in Ponorogo can improve the students' morale. The program was implemented through activities integrated with the learning process. However, some schools separate the program (takhassus). Besides, the tahfidz program at junior high school of pesantren is intended that they graduate with a complete memorization of the Qur’an. The positive impact is an increase in public interest and trust in the school while the negative impact is the competition to increase the number of memorizations that is not based on the ability of students so that they encounter stress.
