Abstract

This research aims to analyze and describe the influence of promotion, income, and brand image on the decision to purchase tickets for the Indonesian Kuby bird competition in Semarang. The population in this study were participants in the Kuby Cup bird competition. The sample used in this research was 100 people. Data analysis was carried out using ordinal logistic regression analysis with SPSS 27. The results of this research analysis show that the promotion variable has a positive influence on purchasing decisions, the income variable has an influence on purchasing decisions, the brand image variable has an influence on purchasing decisions, and the promotion, income and brand image variables simultaneously influence purchasing decisions. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of flashcard media on the English vocabulary mastery of fourth-grade students at SDN Matayangan. The research employs a quantitative method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. A total of 24 students from class IV were selected as the research sample using total sampling technique. The research instrument consisted of 20 multiple-choice questions, which were administered both before and after the treatment to measure students’ vocabulary mastery. The treatment involved the use of flashcard media as a learning tool during English vocabulary lessons over a period of several sessions. The research findings show an improvement in the students’ vocabulary scores, with an average pretest score of 63.96 increasing to an average posttest score of 78.33. This indicates that students demonstrated better vocabulary understanding after being exposed to flashcard media. The data were analyzed using paired sample t-test through SPSS, which revealed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05). This result confirms that there is a statistically significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of flashcard media had a significant effect on students’ vocabulary mastery. The findings support previous research which suggests that visual media such as flashcards can enhance memory and retention, especially among young learners. The use of colorful and engaging flashcards helped students to associate words with images, making the learning process more effective and enjoyable. This study recommends that teachers incorporate flashcards into classroom instruction as an alternative strategy to improve students’ English vocabulary acquisition. Abstract

Lembaga pendidikan menurut pengertiannya adalah segala sesuatu yang dapat digunakan sebagai ‘tempat’ atau ‘wadah’ terjadinya proses belajar dalam arti proses perubahan dari sesuatu yang tidak atau kurang baik menjadi lebih baik. Pendidikan di masa klasik ini adalah semenjak adanya komunitas pendidikan dalam skala kecil, dengan identitas tradisi dan kepercayaan rakyat disitu. Seperti, pesantren dan padepokan. Lembaga-lembaga pendidikan masa klasik pra madrasah: 1. shuffah, 2. kuttab/ maktab, 3. halaqah,4. masjid, 5. khan, 6. ribath, 7. toko-toko buku dan perpustakaan, 8. rumah sakit, 9. badiah. Pendidikan kontemporer pada orde baru di Indonesia, yaitu: 1. tujuan pendidikan nasional berdasarkan pancasila, 2. pendidikan pancasila, 3. mutu dan relevansi pendidikan diarahkan pada usaha, 4. pendidikan tidak hanya dilakukan di sekolah namun juga dilakukan di keluarga dan masyarakat, 5. perluasan pendidikan dalam rangka untuk memperoleh didalam dan diluar sekolah, 6. pengembangan tenaga kependidikan, 7. pembagunan gedung-gedung sekolah, 8. pendidikan dan pengajaran bahasa indonesia, 9. pembinaan kepustakaan dan penerbitan, 10. pendidikan kejuruan dan keterampilan, 11. perguruan tinggi sungguh-sunggguh sebagai lembaga ilmiah, 12. pembinaan perguruan swasta, 13. pendidikan masyarakat diarahkan agar setiap anggota masyarakat sedini mungkin, 14. pendidikan jasmani dan olahraga. Abstract

This study critically examines the philosophical underpinnings of education management science in the context of humid tropical forest areas, highlighting the inadequacy of conventional models in addressing the region's unique challenges. This study emphasizes the urgency of developing a contextually relevant, flexible, inclusive, and aligned education management philosophy with environmental sustainability goals. This type of research is qualitative with a literature study data collection technique. Based on the study, it is known that the philosophy of educational management science in humid tropical forest areas faces its own challenges rooted in the tension between modern educational practices and traditional knowledge systems, which is exacerbated by logistical, environmental, and cultural complexities. The root of this problem lies in the epistemological bias of conventional education, historical marginalization, and the pressures of globalization and environmental degradation.
