Abstract

This study explores the Implementation Analysis of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum at SMKN 10 Luwu to foster creative and innovative students. The research delves into the curriculum implementation process, challenges faced, and outcomes through qualitative descriptive methods, including interviews and observations. Findings reveal successful implementation for the 2022/2023 academic year, showcasing teachers' proficiency in lesson planning and differentiated learning. Challenges include teachers' creative teaching methods, school environment considerations, and resource constraints. Addressing these requires training, community support, improved infrastructure, increased supervision, and collaboration. While the curriculum is effectively applied, refinement is ongoing, and some teachers encounter challenges in assessment timing. Despite this, teachers at SMKN 10 Luwu actively engage in the implementation process.

Abstract

Digital transformation in education has become a global phenomenon that is changing the way schools learn and manage. This study examines the implementation of technology and digital literacy in the context of continuous improvement at SMK Negeri 4 Samarinda, with the aim of improving the quality of education. This study uses a qualitative case study approach through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. The results of the study show that SMK Negeri 4 Samarinda has integrated various digital platforms in the learning process, such as Google Classroom, Moodle, and the school's internal LMS, as well as interactive media such as videos, animations, and simulations. The school also implements a digital-based Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) to document and manage the education quality assurance process. In addition, schools use data-based management to improve the quality of learning, by relying on data on student learning outcomes, attendance, and teacher performance evaluation. The implementation of the flexible and student-based Independent Curriculum, as well as the use of digital technology in learning, has a significant impact on improving the quality of learning and students' skills. Technology-based evaluation and strengthening technical and soft skills also support students' readiness to enter the digitalized world of work. This research contributes to understanding how technology and digital literacy can strengthen continuous improvement in education quality management in vocational schools, as well as become a model for vocational schools in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities of implementing Public-Private Partnership (PPP) in financing primary and secondary education in East Kalimantan. Through a literature review of various national and international sources, the study identifies several key obstacles in PPP implementation, including unclear regulations, limited capacity of local government, and imbalances in the interests between the public and private sectors. The issue of sustainability in financing is also a significant challenge. However, there are considerable opportunities for the development of PPP, driven by the substantial need for educational infrastructure, advances in educational technology, and the potential for adopting PPP practices from more developed countries. This study recommends several key actions, including the formulation of clearer and more detailed policies, strengthening institutional capacity, providing fiscal incentives to the private sector, and enhancing transparency and accountability mechanisms in PPP implementation. These measures aim to optimize the role of PPP in promoting equity and improving the quality of education in East Kalimantan.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology during and after the COVID-19 pandemic has driven significant changes in educational supervision practices. Traditional, face-to-face supervision has evolved into digital formats using various online platforms to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of teacher development. This literature review investigates the current theoretical frameworks and practical implementations of digital supervision in the post-pandemic era. The study employs a qualitative approach using content analysis of scholarly literature published between 2020 and 2025, sourced from databases such as Scopus, Google Scholar, and DOAJ. The findings reveal that digital supervision holds substantial potential to improve the quality of education through more flexible, data-driven, and collaborative monitoring approaches. However, several challenges persist, including limited digital literacy among educators, inadequate technological infrastructure in rural areas, and the absence of a standardized national policy regulating digital supervision practices. The review highlights the need for systematic, inclusive, and sustainable digital supervision models, supported by strong policy frameworks and professional development programs. These models include LMS-based supervision, hybrid formats, virtual collaboration networks, and data-driven approaches that incorporate real-time performance analytics. The study concludes that digital supervision should no longer be considered a temporary solution but a strategic component of future educational quality assurance systems.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information and communication technology has encouraged educational institutions to optimize their digital platforms, particularly school websites, to support academic and administrative activities. However, ensuring that these websites meet the needs and expectations of their users requires regular evaluation. This study aims to assess the quality of the SMK Negeri 1 Lhoknga website using the Webqual 4.0 method, which evaluates three main dimensions: usability, information quality, and service interaction quality. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed through a survey involving 61 active users, including students, teachers, and administrative staff, selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected via an online questionnaire based on the Webqual 4.0 indicators, utilizing a five-point Likert scale, and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The findings show that all three dimensions are categorized as “good,” with service interaction quality scoring the highest (3.81), followed by usability (3.79) and information quality (3.78). The dominant factor influencing user satisfaction was service interaction quality, highlighting the importance of system stability, accessibility, and security. Recommendations include regularly updating content, implementing a more modern and responsive design, and adding interactive features such as live chat and digital suggestion boxes to enhance user experience. These results provide practical insights for improving the school’s digital services and contribute to the broader discussion on educational website quality assessment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas VIII-A Semester 1 SMP Negeri 1 Karangrejo Tulungagung Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Hal yang menajdi dasar penelitian ini karena nilai kekatifan siswa dan juga nilai siswa masih rendah kemungkinan ini disebabkan karena siswa masih banyak yang mengalami kesulitan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran seni budaya materi mengambar flora, fauna dan benda alam. Hasil ini juga diperkuat dengan hasil observasi kepada siswa yang telah dilakukan sebelum tindakan bahwa sebelum tindakan siswa yang tuntas hanya mencapai 28,0%. Prosentase tersebut sangatlah rendah dan ditingkatkan dengan pengembangan metode pembelajaran Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting and Extending (CORE). Penelitian menggunakan PTK dengan 2 siklus dan pada masing – masing siklus terdiri dari beberapa tahap diantaranya perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penerapan metode pembelajaran CORE dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dan juga nilai ketuntasan siswa. Pada siklus I nilai ketuntasan siswa mencapai 68,0% dan pada siklus II meningkat lagi mencapai 88,0% pada mata pelajaran seni budaya materi mengambar flora, fauna dan benda alam.

Abstract

The current study attempts to explain how judge sentencing varies as a response to the legal and extralegal factors of drug offenders. The variables of interest in this research are the recidivism factors among drug offenders. The utilization of ordinary least squares (log-level regression) gives results that mostly coincide with prior studies. However, the empirical evidence found indicates that the roles, gender, religion, and birthplaces of offenders reveal a different fact. This paper acknowledges the limitations related to the data of ethnicity, judge characteristics, and demographic situation in each province. Hence, this model could be improved in future research.

Abstract

This study critically examines the philosophical underpinnings of education management science in the context of humid tropical forest areas, highlighting the inadequacy of conventional models in addressing the region's unique challenges. This study emphasizes the urgency of developing a contextually relevant, flexible, inclusive, and aligned education management philosophy with environmental sustainability goals. This type of research is qualitative with a literature study data collection technique. Based on the study, it is known that the philosophy of educational management science in humid tropical forest areas faces its own challenges rooted in the tension between modern educational practices and traditional knowledge systems, which is exacerbated by logistical, environmental, and cultural complexities. The root of this problem lies in the epistemological bias of conventional education, historical marginalization, and the pressures of globalization and environmental degradation.
