Abstract

Education is the key to all quality progress and renewal. To create a quality learning process, the right method is needed. Discovery learning method is the right method because the process of learning activities is led by students. This research is a quantitative experimental research. The students studied were class VIII students of MTs Tarbiyatul 'Ulum Tirtomoyo. The number of students studied in the experimental class was 16 students and in the control class were 15 students. The data analysis used was the independent simple t test and the prerequisite tests were carried out, namely the normality test and homogeneity test. The results of this study are: (1) The application of the discovery learning method in the Fiqh subject has 3 activities carried out, namely: 1) preliminary activities; 2) core activities; 3) closing activities. (2) The discovery learning method can improve student learning outcomes, seen from the results of the posttest average score of experimental class students using the discovery learning method of 89.06, while the posttest average value of the control class using conventional methods is 81.33. This shows that there are differences in student learning outcomes in the experimental class and the control class. So that learning using the discovery learning method is more effective in improving student learning outcomes in fiqh subjects in class VIII MTs Tarbiyatul 'Ulum Tirtomoyo

Abstract

Learning Natural Sciences is considered to be a difficult problem for students so students' science process skills are less than optimal. This study aims to explore the science process skills of students of Elementary Madrasah Teacher Education, Institut Agama Islam Nahdlatul Ulama Kebumen in the course of basic concepts of Natural Sciences, especially the material on the properties of light. This study is a descriptive qualitative study. This study was taken from students of Elementary Madrasah Teacher Education Semester IV at the Institut Agama Islam Nahdlatul Ulama Kebumen. The number of respondents in this study was 16 students. Data were obtained from observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data were validated using the triangulation method technique. The data were analyzed using an interactive analysis process, including data reduction, data presentation, and verification/conclusion. The results of the study showed that students of the Elementary Madrasah Teacher Education Institut Agama Islam Nahdlatul Ulama Kebumen had science process skills with a percentage level of 88.10% or excellent, which was indicated by having indicators of the ability to observe, group, clarify, predict, ask questions, conduct experiments, and communicate. The indicator that students most mastered was communicating with a percentage of 95.75%, while the indicator that students less mastered was asking questions with a rate of 75%. These results were caused by students being accustomed to doing percentages and having previous practical experience, but they were only able to ask questions with the practical content of practical activities. Overall, all students of the Elementary Madrasah Teacher Education met the science process skills indicators very well.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the teacher's efforts in developing interpersonal intelligence for the VB MI Ma'arif Surotrunan class, to determine the supporting factors and inhibiting factors in developing interpersonal intelligence. This type of research is descriptive research. The subjects of this research were the principal, teachers and students of the VB MI Ma'arif Surotrunan class. The object of this research is the teacher's efforts to develop interpersonal intelligence. The research location was MI Ma'arif Surotrunan. The method used to collect data is observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction, data presentation and drawing or verifying conclusions. The research results show that students' interpersonal intelligence is in the low category. From the research results, it is known that several interpersonal intelligence problems occur among students, namely that students are not reluctant when the teacher explains learning material and the number of boys in the class is more than the number of girls. Apart from that, students who experience interpersonal intelligence problems tend to be absorbed in their own world and their parents' parenting patterns influence the development of students' interpersonal intelligence.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) To identify the steps in implementing the Jigsaw method in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subject for Grade 10 at SMK Teknologi Informasi Karangtanjung Kebumen; and (2) To identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in the application of the Jigsaw method in the same subject and setting. This research is a qualitative study. The subjects are the Islamic Education teacher and Grade 10 students at SMK TI. The research method used is descriptive. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data condensation, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results show that: (1) The learning process consists of three main stages: opening, core, and closing activities. The teacher begins by providing motivation and an introductory activity, then implements the Jigsaw method based on pre-arranged steps. In the final stage, the teacher provides a summary and conducts an evaluation through a written test. This method has proven effective in enhancing student learning outcomes; (2) Supporting factors include increased student participation and responsibility, improved communication and social skills, equal understanding of the material, and an enjoyable learning experience. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors include limited time, inadequate facilities, limited teacher competence, differences in students' academic abilities and participation, and the incompatibility of some materials with the Jigsaw method.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pelatihan CBT berbasis edmodo untuk guru MI. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 8 Februari 2022 di MI Tahassus Ma’arif NU Prapagkidul, Pituruh, Purworejo. Peserta dalam pelatihan ini adalah 34 guru. Kegiatan pengabdian ini terdiri dari empat tahap, yang terdiri dari perencanaan, persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa peserta memiliki capaian hasil yang sangat baik dengan persentase sebesar 90,83%. Hal ini ditandai dengan pemahaman peserta tentang platform edmodo, kemudahan dalam mengoperasikan edmodo, dan kemudahan dalam membuat quiz berbasis edmodo. Selain itu, didapatkan hasil bahwa sebanyak 100% peserta akan menindaklanjuti penggunaan CBT berbasis Edmodo ke dalam pembelajaran dan hasil juga menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini sangat membantu dalam mengembangkan kompetensi guru MI. Jadi, pelatihan ini terbukti dapat mengembangkan pemahaman guru tentang CBT berbasis admodo sehingga mampu menciptakan inovasi guru dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are one of the essential 21st-century competencies that students must possess, aimed at enhancing their reasoning abilities in solving problems encountered during the learning process. The objective of this research is to improve critical thinking skills in the subject of local wisdom in the surrounding community using the QODE (Questioning, Organizing, Doing, and Evaluating) learning model. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of 2 cycles, with each cycle comprising 2 sessions. The subject of this research is 28 fourth-grade students at SD N 2 Bumirejo, Kebumen. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, documents related to classroom action research, documentation, and tests. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles & Huberman & Saldana model, which consists of data condensation, data display, and data verification. The research results demonstrate that the Local Wisdom-Based QODE Model can enhance students' critical thinking skills at SD N 2 Bumirejo, Kebumen. The improvement rate in Cycle I was 46%, while in Cycle II, it reached 86%. Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu bagian dari keterampilan abad 21 yang harus dimiliki siswa yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan nalar siswa dalam memecahkan masalah yang ada pada proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam materi kearifan lokal di masyarakat sekitarku yang menggunakan model pembelajaran QODE (Questioning, Organizing, Doing, and Evaluating). Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang terdiri dari 2 siklus,masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 2 pertemuan. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah 28 siswa kelas IV SD N 2 Bumirejo, Kebumen. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah tes, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles & Huberman & Saldana yang terdiri dari tahap kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa  model QODE Berbasis Kearifan Lokal dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di SD N 2 Bumirejo, Kebumen. Dengan besar peningkatan di siklus 1 adalah sebesar 46 % dan besar peningkatan di siklus II adalah sebesar 86%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyelidiki efektivitas Project Based Learning (PjBL) dalam meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik sains kelas empat di MI Negeri 1 Kebumen, mengatasi rendahnya tingkat kreativitas yang disebabkan oleh metode konvensional yang kurang interaktif. Bertujuan untuk menguji dampak PjBL pada kelancaran, fleksibilitas, orisinalitas, dan elaborasi, penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuasi-eksperimental dengan kelompok eksperimen (n=28, PjBL) dan kelompok kontrol (n=30, ceramah). Data yang dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, observasi, lembar kerja, dan dokumentasi, dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji validitas reliabilitas, dan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan PjBL meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik secara signifikan: kelompok eksperimen meningkat dari 63,98% menjadi 84,17%, sedangkan kelompok kontrol mengalami perubahan minimal. Uji-t menghasilkan signifikansi 0,000 untuk kelompok eksperimen, yang mengonfirmasi perbedaan yang signifikan. Sebagai kesimpulan, PjBL secara efektif meningkatkan kreativitas dalam sains, mendukung pengembangan kompetensi abad ke-21.
