Abstract

State Elementary School 1 Kemiri is one of the elementary schools that has diverse student characters. In daily learning, various dynamics of social interactions emerge, including bullying behavior that still often occurs among fifth grade students. This phenomenon is of concern because it has a direct impact on the comfort of learning and the development of their social attitudes. Therefore, this study was conducted to reveal the forms of bullying that occur and to examine the influence of instilling Pancasila values on preventing it. This study uses quantitative methods. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and surveys. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using a number of statistical tests, such as validity, reliability, normality, linearity, simple linear regression, and determination. The aim is to see to what extent the internalization of Pancasila values is able to influence the reduction in bullying rates in schools. The results of the study showed that the dominant forms of bullying were verbal and social bullying. The factors underlying this behavior include the influence of the family environment, peer pressure, and exposure to social media. From the results of the data analysis, it is known that Pancasila values play a significant role in reducing bullying behavior, with a contribution of 66%, while the rest is influenced by other factors that are not studied further. Thus, the instillation of Pancasila values has proven to be important in supporting the creation of a safe and educational school atmosphere, as well as being a preventive effort in reducing bullying behavior at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes in Pancasila Education among second-grade elementary school students, who are still predominantly using conventional learning methods and lack student involvement. The Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model is seen as an alternative that can improve understanding through contextual problem-solving. This study aims to determine the effect of the PBL model on learning outcomes of Pancasila Education. The study used a quantitative, quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group. The study population comprised all second-grade students at Jombor State Elementary School, and a purposive sampling technique was used to select the sample. The research instrument was a validated, reliable learning outcome test. Data were analysed using normality and homogeneity tests, and the t-test for hypothesis testing. The results showed a significant difference between the experimental group using the PBL model and the control group using conventional methods. The average learning outcomes of students in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group. These findings indicate that the application of the Problem-Based Learning model has a positive and significant effect on learning outcomes of Pancasila Education. This research implies that the PBL model can be used as an effective alternative learning strategy to improve the quality of learning in elementary schools, especially in building conceptual understanding and student active involvement.

Abstract

The variation in teacher performance influenced by the effectiveness of the principal's leadership and the application of discipline in PPG partner schools Unwidha Klaten is a problem that must be faced. This study aims to analyze the influence of principal leadership and discipline on teacher performance and compare the differences in partner and non-partner schools. The study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey method. The subjects of the study were teachers at PPG partner schools Unwidha Klaten who were selected through purposive sampling techniques. Data was collected using a Likert scale questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was carried out through classical assumption tests, simple and multiple linear regressions, and determination coefficient tests with the help of the SPSS program. The results showed that principals' leadership and discipline had a significant effect on improving teacher performance, where the influence was greater in PPG's partner schools than in non-partner schools. These findings confirm that effective leadership and a consistent discipline culture can improve motivation, professionalism, and learning quality. The implication of this study is the need to strengthen the leadership competence of school principals and the implementation of a culture of discipline in schools as a strategy to improve the quality of education, especially in supporting the success of the PPG program in producing professional teachers.
