Abstract

One of the obstacles experienced by PGSD students who carry out field practice in school in teaching mathematics is the low ability of mathematical communication skills. This causes the students to become not confidence in teaching mathematics-related materials in primary schools, especially in the high class. Based on the observations of researchers, so far, in learning related to the field of mathematics, lecturers explain more and give examples and how to work, then students are asked to work on related problems. This turned out to give a bad impact for students, the impact of students' mathematical communication skills turned out to be less developed. Based on previous research, it is known that one of the efforts to develop students' mathematical communication ability is to apply active learning model. Researchers tried to apply this model of learning in the classroom for 3 meetings, then analyzed matters relating to the applied model. From the results of the study note that the active learning model applied by researchers can run well enough. In the third meeting it was found that 71.4% of the group had been able to represent the answers well and thoroughly. 92,8% or 13 group can hear guidance and direction well, 78,6% group have been able to read problem with good understanding of math, 92,8% group can discuss well, and 71,4% group have been able to express and write the idea into the form of a mathematical symbol.

Abstract

Permasalahan  penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis model Quantum Teaching Terhadap Hasil Belajar Tematik Terpadu Siswa Muatan IPA  di Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Quasi Experimental Design. Rancangan  berbentuk quasi experimental design yang digunakan  yaitu Non-equivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V  Sekolah Dasar. Sampel yang terdiri dari 30 siswa kelas V.B (kelas eksperimen) dan 31 siswa kelas V.A (Kelas Kontrol). Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik analisis data menggunakan  uji normalitas, uji homogenitas uji hipotesis dan uji independent samples t-tes untuk mengukur perbedaan nilai antara Post-test dikelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Teknik penelitian dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tertulis berupa  soal objektif sebanyak 20 soal. Teknik analisis  data menggunakan uji hipotesis melalui uji t dengan taraf nyata 0,05. Hasil uji coba menunjukan bahwa diperoleh signifikansi 0,049. Karena hasil signifikan 0,049 < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Berdasarkan analisis di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model quantum teaching terhadap hasil belajar tematik terpadu siswa muatan IPA kelas V. implikasi penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan oleh guru untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa selama mengikuti proses pembelajaran. penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi guru dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran.

Abstract

The research was conducted due to the problem of students' lack of interest in reading, especially in class IV SD N 12 IX Koto. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of the literacy program on reading interest in Indonesian language lessons in fourth grade elementary school students. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of experimental research. The sample of this research was 11 students of class IV SD N 12 IX Koto. A pretest-posttest design with only one group was used for the study. The results showed that the implementation of the literacy program had a positive impact on students' Indonesian learning achievement. There was an increase in the average score of Indonesian lessons from 67.55 to 81.18 after the implementation of the literacy program. students' ability and understanding of Indonesian also increased after the literacy program was implemented. the findings showed that the percentage of students who met the Minimum Completeness (KKM) increased from 4 (36%) to 9 (73%). Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of literacy programs has a positive effect on reading interest and increases Indonesian learning achievement in fourth grade students at SDN 12 IX KOTO.

Penelitian ini dilatar belakngi dengan kurangnya media pembelajaran tersedia bagi siswa kelas V di SDN 01 Nagari Sitiung dalam memahami materi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa melalui penggunaan LKPD berbasis E-Book Creator. Pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan R&D yang berfokus pada pembuatan produk berupa LKPD dengan menggunakan aplikasi E-Book Creator untuk materi Sistem Pernapasan di kelas 5 SDN 01 Sitiung. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman siswa meningkat saat mereka belajar menggunakan LKPD. Berdasarkan pengembangan, percobaan, dan evaluasi yang dilakukan, LKPD yang desain menggunakan aplikasi E-Book Creator, dibantu oleh Canva, efektif dalam mendukung pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar terhadap materi sistem pernapasan

Abstract

Science learning is one of the lessons that has a very strategic and important role, especially in terms of improving the quality of human resources (Human Resources). continuously growing at a faster rate. Science learning carried out in elementary schools should be carried out by presenting a method or learning model that is not monotonous and more diverse so that it can make students feel more interested in taking part in learning, besides that science learning should make students feel actively involved both physically and mentally. nor emotional. From the results of the observations, several problems were found in class V SDN 104/II Sungai Pinang, namely in class VA students who did not complete as much as 60% of the total students or a number of 18 students out of 23 students (KKM score 75), and class VB who completed as much as 70% of the total students or a number of 15 students from 22 students. This shows that more than 50% of students in the class, both VA and VB classes, still have not mastered the learning provided well enough, for this reason the teacher is obliged to carry out various kinds of efforts in order to improve the learning outcomes of his students in class. One of them is that it can be done by choosing a model, strategy or learning method that is considered appropriate, so that later it is expected to be able to involve students both to be able to play a more active role both in terms of emotional, physical and social. The researcher tries to apply the Snowball Throwing learning model, the results of the hypothesis test at a significant level of 0.05 after applying the Snowball Throwing learning model are obtained sig <α (0.00 <0.05), thus meaning that the test results are not in the H0 acceptance area so that Ha , so that it can be concluded that the Snowball Throwing learning model has a significant influence on the integrated thematic learning outcomes of science content in fifth grade students at SDN 104/II Sungai Pinang

Abstract

Literacy understanding has evolved significantly from mere reading and writing skills to encompass comprehension and use of technology. In the digital age, literacy now includes not only reading and writing but also speaking, understanding, and utilizing technology. These advanced literacy skills are crucial for addressing globalization challenges and enhancing social, cultural, and economic progress. Individuals with limited literacy skills may struggle to maximize their potential. To help students become better readers, one strategy employed is a 15-minute reading activity before lessons begin. Research applying the Research and Development (R&D) methodology and the ADDIE model, which includes five stages—analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation—shows that literacy-based learning media, such as "Candy Land," is highly effective. Evaluation results indicate that 85% of students achieved satisfactory learning outcomes, while 15% did not. This effectiveness demonstrates that literacy-based learning media can enhance student learning outcomes, with an average completion rate of 85%, supporting the use of this method in the learning process to achieve educational goals

Abstract

Pengembangan penelitian ini untuk menciptakan sebuah produk dalam bentuk video animasi berbasis aplikasi canva yang diharapkan dapat mengefektifkan serta meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi proses terjadinya hujan di kelas III SDN 15 Sitiung. Pengembangan penelitian dilakukan supaya dapat mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi peserta didik yang minat belajarnya kurang, serta tidak fokus terhadap materi pelajaran yang diberi oleh guru. Media pembelajaran adalah suatu alat yang dapat membantu guru dalam proses belajar mengajar sehingga makna atau pesan yang disampaikan dapat menjadi lebih jelas dan tujuan pendidikan atau pembelajaran dapat tercapai dengan efektif dan efisien. Penggunaan media video animasi berbasis aplikasi canva dalam proses pembelajaran diharapkan adanya peningkatan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kegiatan pengembangan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan menghasilkan produk berupa media video animasi berbasis aplikasi canva pada materi proses terjadinya hujan di kelas III SDN 15 Sitiung yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode Research and Development yang terdiri dari lima tahap, yaitu (1) Tahap Analisis (analyze), (2) Tahap Perancangan (Design), (3) Tahap Pengembangan (Development) setelah melalui tahap pngembangan dilakukan uji validasi oleh 3 orang dosen validator dengan hasil 86,4%, (4) Tahap Implementasi (implementation) pada tahap ini dilakukan uji praktikalitas yang dilakukan oleh wali kelas dan peserta didik menunjukkan hasil 88,4%, (5) Tahap Evaluasi (evaluation). Berdasarkan dari prosedur ADDIE yang digunakan pada penelitian di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media animasi yang telah dikembangkan peneliti layak untuk digunakan karena telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif.

Abstract

The aim of the research that will be carried out is to determine the effect of the differentiated learningmodel on the mathematics learning outcomes of class V students at SD Negeri 04 Sungai Rumbai. This researchis experimental research that uses a pre-experimental research design, with a two group pretest design. Theresearch sample consisted of 34 students who were all class V students, consisting of 2 classes, namely VA andVB, each class numbering 17 students. The data collection instrument used was a 25-item multiple choice test,which had been tested for validity and reliability. The results of this research show that the averagemathematics learning outcome of students in the experimental group with differentiated learning is 76 and forthe control class with conventional learning is 56.4, so it is in accordance with the testing criteria of reject ?0and accept ?1. so that the average mathematics learning outcomes of students who are taught using thedifferentiated learning model are better than the mathematics learning outcomes of students who useconventional learning. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence from the application of thedifferentiated learning model on the learning outcomes of students in mathematics in multiples and factors inclass V at SD Negeri 04 Sungai Rumbai

Abstract

The low ability of students to carry out the addition process causes students to have difficultyunderstanding more complex material. Teachers must have the ability to innovate, be creative and be proactivein dealing with changes in trends and progress in using learning aids. Teachers must also produce learningprops that are creative, interesting and effective so that students do not feel bored with the monotonous learningprocess. The development objective that will be achieved in this research is to produce an Addition BoardTeaching Aid that is applied to Mathematics subjects in the valid, practical and effective categories. The modelused in this development is the ADDIE model. The method used in this research is Research and Development(R&D), which is a research method that aims to produce certain products and test the validity and effectivenessof these products in their application. The results of research on the validation sheet for the summation boardprops carried out by two validators produced an average score of 91% which was categorized as very valid.The results of research on the practicality sheet of the addition board teaching aids carried out by two teachersproduced an average score of 97% which was categorized as very practical. and the results of the trialassessment of the addition board teaching aids carried out by 18 students produced an average of 88.9% whichwas categorized as very effective
