Abstract

The background of the research is textual book that less support the student to learn to find a concept independently. This research has purpose to develop guided discovery-based module on equation and identity of trigonometry subjects that valid and practical in class X MIA SMAN 1 Rambatan. The kind of study is research and development with IDI model. The define stage consist of syllabus analysis, text book analysis, literature analysis, and interview by teacher and student. Develop section is done the planning of module. Then, evaluation section is done exam validity and practicality. The results of exam module validity shows that this module on characteristic wich very valid namely 83%. The results of exam practicality by the teacher shows that this module on characteristic wich practical namely 78% and the result of exam practicality by the student shows that this module on characteristic which very practical namely 96%. It can be concluded that guided discovery-based module on equation and identity of trigonometry subjects is valid and practical.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of environmental disclosure, institutional ownership toward corporate social responsibility disclosure (CSRD) with profitability (ROA) as a moderating variable. The population of this research is manufacturing company which is member of PROPER and listing in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2011 to 2013. The research samples are 72 companies selected by using purposive sampling method. The statistical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. These results show that the impact of environmental disclosure and institutional ownership has significant impact toward corporate social responsibility disclosure. But, profitability (ROA) as the moderating variable in relation between environmental disclosure and institutional ownership toward corporate social responsibility disclosure has no significant impact.Keywords: environtmental, performance, ownership, ROA, CSRD.

Abstract

This study aims to prove the effectiveness of mind mapping media in improving reading comprehension skills in answering questions in the form of 5W+1H (What, Who, Where, Why, When and How) for deaf children in class VIII at SLB N 1 Painan. This study uses an experimental research in the form of Single Subject Research (SSR) with an A-B-A design. The data analysis technique is in the form of graphic visual analysis. The results of data analysis carried out for 17 meetings, which were in three conditions, namely baseline (A1) with the acquisition of percentage results, namely: 30%, 40%, 20%, 20%, 30%. In the intervention condition (B) with the percentage gain: 70% ,60% ,80%,80%, 90%90%,90%. Finally, in the baseline condition (A2), the percentage gains are: 90%,80%,90%,90%,90%. The results of this study indicate that the ability to read comprehension increases after using mind mapping media for deaf children in class VIII at SLB N 1 Painan.

Abstract

This research is based on the learning process that has not shown interesting progress and has not been able to encourage active participation from students. This situation directly has a negative effect on student learning achievement in Mathematics which is still relatively low. Therefore, efforts are needed to develop more effective and interesting learning methods to improve student learning outcomes in these subjects. This study aims to obtain information on how much the Discovery Learning type cooperative learning model has an effect on the learning outcomes of Mathematics students in grade 5 elementary school. This study is an experimental research that uses a pre-experimental research design, with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The location of the research was carried out at SDN 02 Tiumang, Tiumang District, Dharmasraya Regency. The research sample consisted of 22 students who were all 5th grade students. The data collection instrument used is a multiple-choice test of 25 items, which has been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that the average score of the pretest was 48.18 and the average score of the posttest was 83.64. The description of the data from the analysis of pretest and posttest data, using the Paired Sample T-test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. From the criteria of the provision, if the significance < 0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence from the application of the Discovery Learning type cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of Mathematics students in grade 5 of SDN 02 Tiumang.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive learning videos using powerpoint applications in science learning in the Merdeka Curriculum class IV SDN 09 Sitiung. Because the results of observations and interviews with the homeroom teacher of class IV showed that the learning was low, learning videos really helped increase students' interest in learning with a total of 8 students. Research and Development (R&D) method in the ADDIE model which has important steps contained in it, namely: 1. The stage of needs analysis, student characteristics, and curriculum (Analyze) 2. learning design stage ( Design), 3. development stage is developing video products by testing validity in the form of questionnaires (language, content/construct, and graphics), by obtaining the percentage score from the three validators on average 85% in the "Very Valid" category, 4. implementation stage conducts practicality tests, product effectiveness on students and educators with teacher response questionnaires and student response questionnaires by obtaining percentage of 89% "Very Practical" category determines effectiveness of using student learning interest questionnaires after watching interactive learning videos (Implementation), with a percentage of 87% in the "Very Effective" category 5. evaluation stage where the stage knows the revisions made to product to develop learning from all the previous stages.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam memahami konsep matematikanya. Upaya mengatasi permasalahan tersebut membutuhkan model Project Based Learning (PjBL). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana model PjBL akan mempengaruhi pencapaian kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi eksperimen dengan post test only control group design.Seluruh siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 02 Koto Baru menjadi  populasi dalam penelitian ini. Dalam penelitian ini sampel diambil secara purposive sampling dengan 26 orang kelas VII A dan 27 orang kelas VII B. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan post test berupa tes tertulis dengan jumlah soal esai sebanyak 6 soal. Berdasarkan hasil uji kondisional untuk kedua kelas, distribusinya cenderung normal. Hasil uji-t (independent sample t-test) menghasilkan nilai sig (two-tailed) = 0,000 < 0,05 H0 ditolak artinya ada pengaruh model PjBL terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas VII. Namun, indikator 1, 2, 3, 5, dan 7 model PjBL tidak ada pengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika siswa,   indikator  4 dan 6 model PjBL ada pengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika siswa

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes in IPAS (Integrated Science and Social Studies) among students. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model with the help of Wordwall media in IPAS learning on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental type and a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study consists of all fifth-grade students. The sample was taken using a saturated sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using tests with question instruments. After applying the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model, the average pretest score was 56, and the posttest score was 72, indicating a higher posttest score. Based on non-parametric statistical analysis, it was found that the asymptotic significance (2-tailed) value was 0.000, which is smaller than 0.50, thus the hypothesis is accepted. This means there is a difference between the pretest and posttest results. Therefore, it can be concluded that the hypothesis stating the influence of applying the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model with the help of Wordwall media in IPAS learning on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students is accepted.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems faced by students who have not yet memorized letters, struggle to distinguish similarly shaped letters, experience difficulties in spelling, and are not yet fluent in reading. The purpose of this study is to produce flash card media that is valid, practical, and effective. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D), employing the PLOMP development model, which consists of three stages: preliminary research, prototyping phase, and assessment phase. The validity of the flash cards was assessed by four validators: the language expert validation scored 96.25% and was categorized as very valid; the material expert validation scored 96.25% (very valid); the media expert validation scored 95.31% (very valid); and the teaching module validation scored 98.7% (very valid). The practicality of the flash card media, based on a teacher response questionnaire for first-grade teachers, received a score of 100% and was categorized as very practical, while the student response questionnaire obtained an average score of 90.5%, also categorized as very practical. The effectiveness results based on learning tests of students at the primary school yielded an average of 94.73%, categorized as very effective. From the one-to-one evaluation trial, an average of 95.5% was obtained, categorized as very practical, and from the small group evaluation trial, an average of 95.6% was obtained, also categorized as very practical. The effectiveness data were analyzed based on students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low literacy skills of students during classroom learning activities, particularly in the IPAS subject. One of the problems faced by educators is the limited use of educational game-based learning media, which results in less effective and less engaging learning processes for students. The aim of this research is to enhance students’ thinking abilities, deepen learning motivation, and develop independent learning skills. This study uses a quantitative experimental method, specifically a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest model. The instrument used in this research consists of tests given before and after the learning activities. A pretest was administered to assess students' science literacy levels before the use of Wordwall-based educational game media, and a posttest was conducted to determine whether there was an improvement after the intervention. Based on the results, the pretest scores ranged from 15 to 45. After the implementation of Wordwall in the experimental class at SDN 10 Sitiung, Grade V, for the IPAS subject with 13 students, the posttest scores ranged from 65 to 90. These results indicate a significant improvement in students’ science literacy following the use of the educational game-based learning media.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems encountered in the implementation of mathematics learning in Grade II, such as low student interest, weak understanding, and difficulties in grasping mathematical concepts, particularly in the topic of addition. An effort to address these issues is by developing the PAHIT (Papan Hitung) teaching aid, which aims to improve student learning outcomes through engaging and interactive media. The purpose of this study is to produce a valid, practical, and effective PAHIT (Papan Hitung) teaching aid for teaching mathematics to Grade II students at SDN 07 Koto Baru. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method. The development model applied is ADDIE, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data collected includes both qualitative and quantitative types. Instruments used in the study include observation sheets, interview guidelines, validity instruments, practicality instruments, and effectiveness instruments. Data collection techniques involved interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The analysis focused on the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the teaching aid. The results of the research and development produced a PAHIT (Papan Hitung) teaching aid for the mathematics topic of addition in Grade II at SDN 07 Koto Baru. Based on assessments from three validators, the tool achieved an average score of 0.79, categorized as valid and therefore suitable for classroom use. The practicality of the PAHIT teaching aid was rated by students with an average percentage of 97.5% (very practical), and by teachers with a 100% rating (very practical). The effectiveness of the teaching aid was also high, with an average score of 90%, categorized as effective.
