Abstract

In learning Aqidah Akhlak for madrasah ibtidaiyah students it is necessary to have a way to increase students' understanding and ability towards the concept of learning Aqidah Akhlak, thus applying the simulation method in learning is an effective way. The simulation method is a technique in learning that can stimulate students to practice real situations. in a controlled environment. This study aims to be able to find out the results of the effectiveness of applying the simulation method in teaching aqidah morals madrasah ibtidaiyah students. The results of this study prove that the application of the simulation method in learning aqeedah morals can improve students' understanding and skills significantly. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of the simulation method madrasah ibtidaiyah students in teaching morals of aqidah is an effective and innovative learning alternative. Therefore it is suggested that teachers can apply this method in the process of learning morals and aqidah in madrasah ibtidaiyah.

Abstract

Pendidikan menjadi pondasi untuk membangun suatu bangsa. Terlebih lagi, adanya perubahan zaman yang memengaruhi pendidikan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengulas kembali sejarah dan perkembangan pondok pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan islam yang dianggap keberadaanya tidak terpisahkan dari wacana pendidikan di Indonesia. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui metode atau pendekatakan kepustakaan (library research), studi pustaka atau kepustakaan yang didalamnya berkenaan dengan kegiatan pengumpulan data pustaka, membaca dan mencatat serta mengolah bahan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pondok pesantren menjadi lembaga pendidikan islam tertua di Indonesia yang tidak lapuk oleh perubahan zaman. Sistem pendidikan yang mampu mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai islam dan keindonesiaan menjadi keistemewaan tersendiri bagi pondok pesantren.

Abstract

The professionalism of teachers is essential for enhancing student learning results, especially in Islamic Cultural History (SKI) subjects in elementary schools. This study intends to analyze the development of SKI teacher professionalism through the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, which focuses on varied or different learning methods. Varied learning requires teachers to identify and cater to students’ different needs, including variations in skills, interests, backgrounds, and learning styles, so that every student can reach their best learning results.This research uses a qualitative method with a literature review approach, examining various relevant theories, earlier studies, and policy documents concerning teacher professionalism, the Merdeka Curriculum, and varied learning. The results show that teacher professionalism is shown not only in knowledge of the subject but also in teaching skills, flexibility, and ongoing self-improvement. SKI teachers need to be responsive to curriculum changes, especially the shift from the K13 curriculum to the Merdeka Curriculum, by creating adaptable, student-focused learning experiences.Moreover, effective strategies to improve teacher professionalism include using creative teaching approaches, contextual learning, and integrating technology-based resources to support interactive and meaningful learning. These strategies help teachers to better meet student diversity and encourage participation in SKI subjects. In the end, enhancing teacher professionalism greatly impacts the quality of learning and the achievement of educational objectives.

Abstract

This paper explores the impact of teachers' competency in shaping educational quality disparity in the application of the Merdeka curriculum in Indonesia. In this case, the research problem relates to the disparity in quality of education due to the disparity in teacher competency, resource access, and school preparedness. The research objective is to assess the impact of teachers' competency on both curriculum application and educational disparity. A qualitative descriptive research design, complemented by a literature review approach, was adopted for this study. Based on the findings, teachers' competencies in pedagogy, professionalism, society, and personal areas play an important role in ensuring effective and learner-centered learning process. Nevertheless, the lack of uniformity in terms of competencies as well as the accessibility to resources and technology makes its optimal application impossible.

Abstract

terutama dalam konteks Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam pengembangan karakter dan moral siswa. Etika sebagai dasar perilaku manusia menjadi fondasi utama bagi guru dalam melaksanakan tugasnya secara profesional, bukan hanya sebagai pengajar, tetapi juga sebagai pendidik dan panutan. Guru profesional diharuskan memiliki keseimbangan kompetensi akademik, moral, dan sosial untuk dapat membentuk siswa yang berakhlak baik. Dalam pendidikan PAI, guru memiliki peran penting dalam menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai Islam lewat teladan, kebiasaan, dan pendekatan yang bersifat humanis. Namun, kemajuan teknologi dan dinamika masyarakat menimbulkan sejumlah tantangan, seperti krisis etika remaja, dampak media digital, serta kurangnya profesionalisme guru dalam menyesuaikan diri dengan perubahan. Oleh sebab itu, rekonstruksi peran guru PAI sangat penting, tidak hanya sebatas transfer pengetahuan, tetapi juga sebagai agen perubahan sosial yang mampu membentuk karakter siswa secara menyeluruh. Kerja sama antara guru, sekolah, dan orang tua merupakan elemen krusial untuk memaksimalkan pengembangan moral dan karakter siswa di zaman modern.

Abstract

This study examines the role of teacher competence in enhancing students’ learning motivation, which remains a key issue in education. The objective is to analyze how various dimensions of teacher competence contribute to students’ engagement in learning. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method, utilizing secondary data from books, journals, and relevant academic sources. Data were analyzed through content analysis by organizing and synthesizing expert perspectives. The results show that teacher competence, including pedagogical, professional, social, and personal aspects, has a significant and interconnected role in improving students’ motivation. These competencies help create an effective and supportive learning environment, encouraging students to be more active and motivated. Therefore, continuous development of teacher competence is essential to improve educational quality and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Teachers play an important role in the success of national education, but the problems faced continue to change over time. This article aims to analyze how teacher professional competence is constructed based on Law Number 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers, and Government Regulation Number 19 of 2005 concerning National Education Standards. In addition, this study identifies the difficulties faced by teachers in meeting these competency demands in the era of modern education. This study uses a qualitative approach and library research method, with data sources in the form of educational regulations, government policies, and relevant scientific literature. The findings show that although current regulations have provided a fairly strong normative framework for four dimensions of teacher competence: pedagogical, personal, social, and professional, implementation remains limited. The main problems lie in the limited digital resources of teachers, quality gaps between regions, and the lack of consistent and relevant training programs.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the disconnection between teacher professionalism policies and the empirical reality of education in Indonesia. Although various policy instruments such as certification and Teacher Professional Education (PPG) have been implemented as quality assurance efforts, pedagogical and professional competence in the field often still show stagnation. Using a qualitative method through literature study and phenomenological analysis, this research explores the structural factors that hinder professionalism, including: the asynchrony of the LPTK curriculum with classroom needs, and the low economic welfare of honorary teachers who are below the Regional Minimum Wage (UMR) standard. The results of the analysis show that low wages force teachers to fragment their focus to seek side income for survival, which in turn reduces competency standards to mere administrative formalities. This article concludes that true professionalism cannot be achieved without synchronization between competency demands and guarantees of decent living welfare.

Abstract

This article discusses the urgency of improving teacher competence, especially Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers, in achieving professionalism amid the dynamics of the industrial revolution 4.0 and society 5.0. Digital transformation has shifted the paradigm of teacher professionalism from merely mastering subject matter to more integrative abilities, including digital literacy, pedagogical innovation, and the application of differentiated learning. This study uses a literature review method with a qualitative approach through the examination of various relevant literature sources. The results show that the integration of technology in the learning process, such as the use of interactive media, digital platforms, and artificial intelligence, plays a significant role in improving learning effectiveness and student engagement. In addition, the Professional Learning Community (PLC) approach has proven to be a sustainable strategy in improving teacher competence through collaboration, reflection, and sharing best practices. However, the implementation of teacher competence development still faces several challenges, such as gaps in digital literacy, school culture that is not yet fully collaborative, and leadership that is not yet optimal. Therefore, a systemic transformation is needed that integrates technology, strengthens professional culture, and provides data-based policy support to encourage teacher professionalism that is adaptive and relevant to the demands of the 21st century.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang profesionalisme guru PAI di era digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan dengan menganalisis dari berbagai sumber tertulis berupa buku dan jurnal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa profesionalisme guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di era digital merupakan sebuah keharusan yang ada dalam dunia pendidikan sekarang karena seiring dengan berkembangnya zaman teknologi juga ikut berkembang pesat, sehingga dunia pendidikan juga mengalami perubahan yang sangat signifikan terutama bagaimana cara guru mengajar. menjadi seorang pendidik yang profesional di era digital diharuskan bisa mempergunakan teknologi untuk menyampaikan materi ajar dengan menggunakan metode yang menarik dan efisien. Dengan adanya digital tersebut mendatangkan banyak manfaat salah satunya untuk membuka peluang lebih banyak bagi siswa untuk mendapatkan pendidikan yang lebih berkualitas.
