Abstract

Innovation in Artificial Intelligence raise a plethora of moral concerns, the majority of which are being thoughtfully explored by organizations ranging from small societal groups to large organizations and governments. Nevertheless, they raise ethical concerns that are not being adequately addressed. This research offers a comprehensive overview of the main ethical issues linked to the impact of Artificial Intelligence on human society from the perspective of Christian ethics. Christian ethics stresses human individuals’ intrinsic dignity as being made in the image of God (Imago Dei). It emphasizes the relevance of human dignity, well-being, and autonomy in the development and implementation of Artificial Intelligence. Having established a number of potential qualities of human identity, we then turn to the Scriptures in order to discover some biblical notions that may be helpful in addressing Artificial Intelligence and the meaning of being human, organized around the themes of creation, fall, and redemption. The report concludes with a call for accountability and humility.

Abstract

Like other sorts of knowledge, thought, and behavior, Christian theology is influenced by the context in which it is employed. Contextual theology shows how thoroughly contextual Christian theology is. The significance of context has never been entirely disregarded in the development of contextual theology. The emphasis on context, however, has been most prominent at times when the Christian message appeared to be the least related to the circumstances in which it was being spoken. Indonesia as the largest archipelagic country in the world with hundreds of tribes and languages has made Indonesia an interesting place to study in developing contextual theology. Based on the various languages and ethnicities that have various kinds of differences, Indonesia is unique in building a down-to-earth theology in the archipelago. This article aims to find out how contextual theology becomes a liaison in bridging between the Word and the context to be able to provide understanding for both parties to God's truth based on synthesis contextual theology and culture in Indonesia. The research method used is qualitative literature research which is the process of studying books, references, and research results to get a better understanding of a problem or issue. This information is then used to build a theoretical foundation for future research.

Abstract

Love is a central tenet of Christian ethics when it comes to moral absolutes. Indeed, what happens in our efforts to practice morals shows up in our reflections on the nature of morals as well. We are vulnerable to the temptation to reduce the biblical understanding of the rich moral meaning to its "outer shell alone, its echoes voiced most to express mercy in matters set forth by contemporary culture. We must dig deeper than the power of feelings. Passionate feelings of love cannot be equated with moral absolutes and cannot determine whether a person's sexuality is what it is. The ultimate authority to inform and control the desires of our hearts should rest with the Creator Himself. The modern phenomenon that occurs in the modern world cannot be considered as a so-called human right only, but this reality needs to be reviewed from what was raised in the exposition of Genesis 2. The LGBT phenomenon does not mean that people need to stay away and despise, but rather accept their humanity as humanity. This provides an opportunity for God to work in mankind's struggles. This study uses qualitative research that looks at the LGBT phenomenon in today's society. This phenomenon is then studied in previous research through literature, books, and journals to obtain research conclusions.

Abstract

The rapid integration of digital technology in education has transformed how faith is taught and experienced in Christian contexts. This shift challenges Christian Religious Education (CRE) teachers to maintain theological integrity while engaging learners in online and hybrid spaces. Traditional models of discipleship must now coexist with virtual practices of learning and community building, requiring teachers to navigate the tension between spiritual authenticity and digital innovation. As education in the 21st century emphasizes creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking, Christian educators must also redefine their leadership as a calling that unites faith, ethics, and pedagogy. This transformation positions teachers not merely as instructors but as spiritual mentors who embody servant and transformative leadership within digital learning environments. The purpose of this study is to develop a theological and pedagogical framework for digital faith formation and teacher leadership in contemporary Christian education. Employing a qualitative theological method and literature-based analysis, the research draws from biblical principles and scholarly works in theology, education, and digital pedagogy. Findings show that faith formation in digital contexts must remain relational, participatory, and grounded in the incarnational model of Christ. Effective leadership integrates humility, moral integrity, and technological discernment to sustain authentic spiritual growth. The study contributes by bridging theology and pedagogy, offering a holistic model for spiritually grounded and digitally competent Christian educators in the 21st century.   Contribution: This study contributes to contemporary Christian education by formulating an integrative framework that unites theology, pedagogy, and digital literacy, positioning Christian educators as transformative spiritual leaders who cultivate faith, ethics, and relational depth within digital learning communities.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between the doctrine of the Trinity and three key aspects of Christian life: contemplation, community, and compassion. The Trinitarian doctrine, which describes the relationship between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in one divine essence, forms the foundation for understanding a relational and transformative spiritual life. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate how the concept of the Trinity is applied in the everyday life of Christians, particularly in practices such as contemplation that draws one closer to God, building church communities that reflect unity and diversity, and engaging in bold acts of compassion toward others. The methodology involves a theological literature review with a focus on systematic theology and pastoral application, as well as practical analysis of how Trinitarian teachings are implemented within the church and broader society. The results show that contemplation, community, and compassion are not only theological concepts but are actively practiced in ways that connect Christians to the Trinitarian life. By living out the teachings of the Trinity, Christians are invited into relational support, reflecting God's love, and transforming the world through courageous and sacrificial acts of love. This study contributes by providing a theological framework that connects the doctrine of the Trinity with Christian practices of contemplation, community, and compassion, offering both spiritual insights and practical applications for living out Trinitarian love in everyday life.
