Abstract

Optimalisasi media pembelajaran digital sangat penting di era digital, terutama untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa STIT Palapa Nusantara, Lombok, dalam mengoptimalkan media pembelajaran digital melalui pendampingan dan pelatihan yang terarah selama program Magang III dan KKN Terpadu. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sesi pelatihan, diskusi kelompok fokus, dan pendampingan langsung di lokasi magang dan KKN. Teknik pengumpulan data melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen terkait penggunaan media digital dalam pendidikan. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif untuk menilai efektivitas program. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan mahasiswa untuk merancang dan menerapkan media pembelajaran digital, yang berdampak positif pada proses pembelajaran di sekolah mitra. Kesimpulan dari program ini adalah bahwa pendampingan dan pelatihan yang intensif dan berkelanjutan secara efektif meningkatkan keterampilan media digital mahasiswa. Implikasi dari hasil ini menekankan pentingnya integrasi media digital dalam kurikulum dan program pengabdian masyarakat di perguruan tinggi untuk menghasilkan lulusan yang kompeten dan siap menghadapi tantangan pendidikan di era digital.

Abstract

This study focuses on the dulang penamat tradition carried out by the Sasak community in Pene and Batu Nampar Villages, with an approach from the perspective of Islamic religious education, multiculturalism, and local democracy. The main objective of this study is to analyze and interpret the meaning of the tradition, not only as a form of cultural preservation, but also as a form of integration of Islamic and multicultural values ​​in the practice of Islamic religious education. This study uses a qualitative method with an field research approach, involving community leaders, families of the deceased and local residents as research subjects. Data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, source reviews, documentation analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis. Data analysis techniques were carried out by applying triangulation of sources and methods, which included cross-verification between the results of observations, interviews, and documentation. While descriptive analysis was carried out based on data findings and empirical facts in the field. In addition, interpretations were made of the symbols in the dulang penamat tradition by identifying patterns and meanings related to the integration of tradition with Islamic religious education, multiculturalism and Islamic democracy. The results of the study explain that the dulang penamat tradition that is carried out not only functions as a post-death perfection ritual, but also becomes a means of preserving spiritual values, social interactions and community culture. These existing values ​​then become the basis for the community to maintain this tradition from generation to generation until now. In the process of its implementation, there are values ​​of charity, prayer, and togetherness in tradition. In addition, the values ​​of Islamic democracy such as deliberation and mutual cooperation are reflected in the collective participation of the community. Islamic religious education learning that emerges through this tradition includes the formation of morals, honesty, and responsibility. This study concludes that dulang penamat is a real manifestation of the harmonization between Islamic values ​​and local traditions, which contributes to the preservation of culture and the strengthening of Islamic values ​​and Islamic religious education in a multicultural society

Abstract

Pertunangan merupakan tradisi yang lazim ditemukan di masyarakat pedesaan, termasuk di Desa Legung, Kecamatan Batang-Batang, Kabupaten Sumenep, Madura. Tradisi ini melibatkan tiga jenis pelaksanaan: saat anak masih dalam kandungan, masa balita, dan saat dewasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam dalam tradisi pertunangan tersebut. Dengan metode kualitatif, data diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam, kemudian dianalisis melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi ini mencerminkan nilai-nilai seperti mempererat silaturahmi, larangan berkhalwat, dan praktik taaruf yang Islami. Kesimpulannya, tradisi pertunangan di Desa Legung dapat menjadi sarana pendidikan karakter Islami, asalkan dilaksanakan sesuai norma agama. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan pendidikan Islam berbasis budaya lokal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of non-test evaluation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMP Negeri 1 Praya Timur. Identifying the types of non-test evaluation techniques applied in PAI learning and analyzing the strategies used by teachers in implementing non-test evaluation techniques, including how to design and apply them in class and assess the effectiveness of non-test evaluation in improving student learning outcomes, especially in strengthening character and understanding of Islamic values. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, by exploring phenomena, events, and evaluation activities applied by teachers to grade VIII students. Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and principals, document analysis, and field recording. Data validity was strengthened by triangulation techniques, namely integrating various sources and methods of data collection. The results of the study indicate that non-test evaluation in PAI learning has been applied systematically and supports the development of students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects as reflected in the increased understanding of religious values ??and positive student behavior in the school environment. The overall learning process went well, although in the process there were several obstacles and challenges such as subjectivity in assessment, teacher time constraints and students' lack of understanding of non-test evaluation. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi evaluasi non-tes dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SMP Negeri 1 Praya Timur. Mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis teknik evaluasi non-tes yang diterapkan dalam pembelajaran PAI dan menganalisis strategi yang digunakan guru dalam mengimplementasikan teknik evaluasi non-tes, termasuk bagaimana merancang dan menerapkannya di kelas dan menilai efektivitas evaluasi non-tes dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, terutama dalam penguatan karakter dan pemahaman nilai-nilai keislaman. Penelitian ini Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, dengan menggali fenomena, peristiwa, serta aktivitas evaluasi yang diterapkan oleh guru terhadap siswa kelas VIII. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan guru dan kepala sekolah, analisis dokumen, serta pencatatan lapangan. Keabsahan data diperkuat dengan teknik triangulasi, yaitu mengintegrasikan berbagai sumber dan metode pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi non-tes dalam pembelajaran PAI telah diterapkan secara sistematis dan mendukung pengembangan aspek kognitif, afektif, serta psikomotorik siswa yang tercermin dari peningkatan pemahaman nilai-nilai keagamaan dan perilaku siswa yang positif di lingkungan sekolah. Proses pembelajaran secara keseluruhan berjalan dengan baik, meski didalam prosesnya terdapat beberapa kendala dan tantangan seperti subjektivitas dalam penilaian, keterbatasan waktu guru dan kurangnya pemahaman siswa terhadap evaluasi non-tes.

Abstract

The low level of active student participation in fiqh learning has become a critical issue underlying this study. One promising approach to enhance student engagement is the implementation of the questions students have model, which emphasizes the use of student-generated questions as the foundation of the learning process. This study aims to apply this model in fiqh instruction and to identify the challenges and efforts involved in its implementation. A qualitative descriptive approach was used, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis followed the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, with data validity ensured through source, method, and time triangulation. The findings reveal that teachers' skills in applying the questions students have model remain limited, particularly in executing the instructional steps as planned. Internal challenges include teachers’ limited ability to develop varied questions and effectively implement strategies. Externally, students demonstrated low confidence in asking questions and limited skills in formulating them. Additional obstacles included suboptimal classroom management and insufficient learning media. To address these issues, teachers engaged in professional development through training, provided guidance for both teachers and students in question formulation, and prepared instructional media prior to teaching. This study underscores the importance of strengthening both teacher and student capacities to foster fiqh learning that is active, participatory, and reflective.

Abstract

General background: Ritual traditions among Sasak Muslims in Lombok reveal a dynamic interaction between Islamic teachings and ancestral heritage. Specific background: One of the least discussed yet enduring practices is the use of frankincense, which remains controversial among puritan groups but continues to hold deep spiritual value for local communities. Knowledge gap: Previous studies emphasize cultural or syncretic aspects but rarely explore the inner religious experiences and sacred meanings embedded in frankincense use. Aims: This study seeks to uncover the sacredness of frankincense in Sasak Muslim rituals using a phenomenological approach, focusing on meaning, symbolism, and spiritual function. Results: The findings show that frankincense serves as a medium for purification, a channel for prayer, and a symbolic bridge between humans, ancestors, and the Divine, creating an atmosphere of calmness, reverence, and communal cohesion. Novelty: This research offers a new perspective by identifying frankincense as a lived sacred entity within local Islamic spirituality rather than a cultural remnant or superstitious practice. Implications: The study enriches scholarship on Nusantara Islam, strengthens frameworks of religious moderation grounded in local wisdom, and highlights the importance of safeguarding intangible spiritual heritage in contemporary Muslim life.
