Abstract

ABSTRACT: This paper includes the study of philosophy of Islamic education that specifically aims to want to see more in the effort to strengthen the philosophical foundations of Islamic education in a scholarly framework described by Muhammad Jawwad Ridla namely ontology, epistemology, and axiology Islamic sciences. The approach used in this paper is a methodical approach. This approach is used to find and discover the nature of truth and the result is within their (relevant) with a view of the problems posed. On that basis, the conclusion in this paper is that there is some basic foundation that could serve as the basis for building understanding about the nature of education Islamo them are ogy knowledge of Islam, Islamic religious sciences epistemology, and axiology knowledge of Islam.

Abstract

Innovation and change in education policy discourse that Islam is interesting to be discussed. This regard, the policy of Islamic education as the basis for the development of Islamic education, both substantive and orientatif in any educational institution in Indonesia to follow up by researchers and experts of Islamic education as a result (result) and the foundation and to look for color as well as systematic new direction in education, especially in menyonsong innovation and change in Islamic education. This brief paper seeks to examine more deeply about Islamic education policies that have been actualized in the Constitution and the regulations applicable in Islamic education. Abstrak Studi inovasi dan perubahan dalam kebijakan pendidikan Islam menjadi wacana yang menarik untuk diperbincangkan. Kaitannya dengan hal ini, maka kebijakan pendidikan Islam sebagai dasar pengembangan pendidikan Islam, baik yang bersifat subtantif dan orientatif di setiap lembaga pendidikan di Indonesia menjadi tindak lanjut oleh para peneliti dan pakar-pakar pendidikan Islam sebagai hasil (result) dan landasan untuk mencari warna baru serta arah yang sistematis dalam dunia pendidikan, terutama dalam menyonsong inovasi dan perubahan pendidikan Islam. Tulisan singkat ini berupaya mengkaji lebih dalam tentang kebijakan pendidikan Islam yang telah diaktualisasikan dalam UUD dan regulasi yang berlaku dalam pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia is experiencing a significant transformation, one of the concrete steps in dealing with this development is the implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum. The Independent Learning Curriculum carries the principle of inclusivity and views every child as an individual who has unique potential, however it still has several challenges and opportunities for Islamic religious education teachers. This study focuses on the challenges of Islamic religious education teachers in implementing, knowing opportunities for teachers and analysing the role of the independent learning curriculum in learning Islamic religious education in elementary schools. The method in this research is a case study using a qualitative design with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques use semi-structured interviews, observation and documentation techniques. Data sources are PAI teachers, school principals and PAI Teacher Working Groups in 32 elementary schools in East Lombok. Thematic analysis is used to analysis the extent to which curriculum implementation can be implemented. The results of the research identified several challenges faced by PAI teachers, including adapting student-focused learning approaches, limited resources and infrastructure and strengthening curriculum evaluation. Other findings include opportunities for PAI teachers to utilize technology, increase student engagement, collaboration between subjects for cross-disciplinary learning and an emphasis on developing student skills. In conclusion, PAI teachers need to strive to align PAI learning with curriculum vision and principles that include student-based, contextual and collaborative learning. Meanwhile, opportunities that can be exploited include making PAI learning more interesting, relevant and collaborative and PAI teachers being able to utilize the role of the independent learning curriculum as an opportunity to improve the quality of Islamic religious education in elementary schools, helping students understand religious values and teachings, and being able to support character education efforts based on moral values.

Abstract

This study talks about the renewal of Muslim thought, especially in the study of Islamic sciences. In this book titled Dirasat Islamiyah, Hanafi tried to give the understanding of the renewal of thinking Muslims to Islam that is in modern times. It can be acknowledged that this Hanafi thought has an impact on the change of mind, especially in looking at the comparisons of Islamic thought in the East and other Islamic countries, especially those directly related to the occurrence of oxidalism (how Islam understands the concept of Western culture, thought and development.) This paper concludes Hanafi in reconstructing the minds of Muslims among others is to create a framework of the concept of thinking that is responsive to the development of the era.In addition, Hanafi also illustrates that Muslims do not think with conservative reasoning in seeing and answering the phenomenon that bind the Ummah. Muslims according to him, must be smart and courageous in taking steps and attitudes that would all be able to restore the glories of Islam that had lost by other thought and culture. He further illustrated the need for a reexamination of classical Islamic texts, as reference and references so that Muslims can formulate a responsive new Islamic concept, both in the form of Islamic thought and practice. The method used in this paper is the study of literature, by making direct source from Dirasat Islamiyah book and other sources related to the theme and the content of the writing.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of Islamic character education through the Naqsyabandiyah Qadiriyah Order among the Sasak Wetu Telu community. As part of the local Islamic tradition, the Wetu Telu community has a unique approach to religious practice and social life. The approach of this order is not only aimed at strengthening spiritual understanding, but also at shaping the moral character of the community through Islamic values, such as honesty, patience, and discipline. The study used a qualitative approach with a field study method involving observation and in-depth interviews with order leaders and the local community. The results of the study indicate that the teachings of the Naqsyabandiyah Qadiriyah Order play a significant role in shaping adaptive Islamic character among the Sasak Wetu Telu such as strengthening Islamic identity, impacts on personal and social life, the role of exemplary tarekat figures, character formation through spiritual discipline, integration of Islam with local culture especially in terms of developing spirituality integrated with local socio-cultural values. These findings confirm that the integration between the order and character education can be a contextual and relevant model of Islamic character development for communities with local Islamic traditions.

Abstract

The Sasak language plays a vital role in the rituals and traditions of the Lombok community. This study aims to analyze the use of the Sasak language in the context of anthropological communication, particularly in ritual and traditional activities in Lombok. This research uses a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods. Data collection techniques include participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis techniques to identify patterns and meanings in the use of the Sasak language in various rituals and traditions. The research results show that the Sasak language is widely used in various religious rituals, traditional ceremonies, and celebrations. The use of this language serves not only as a communication tool but also as a symbol of cultural identity and social cohesion. In conclusion, the Sasak language plays a crucial role in preserving and transmitting cultural values and strengthening social cohesion within the Lombok community. The implications of this research highlight the importance of preserving the Sasak language in the context of modernization and globalization to ensure the continuity of the traditions and cultural identity of the Sasak people.

Abstract

Pertunangan merupakan tradisi yang lazim ditemukan di masyarakat pedesaan, termasuk di Desa Legung, Kecamatan Batang-Batang, Kabupaten Sumenep, Madura. Tradisi ini melibatkan tiga jenis pelaksanaan: saat anak masih dalam kandungan, masa balita, dan saat dewasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam dalam tradisi pertunangan tersebut. Dengan metode kualitatif, data diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam, kemudian dianalisis melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi ini mencerminkan nilai-nilai seperti mempererat silaturahmi, larangan berkhalwat, dan praktik taaruf yang Islami. Kesimpulannya, tradisi pertunangan di Desa Legung dapat menjadi sarana pendidikan karakter Islami, asalkan dilaksanakan sesuai norma agama. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan pendidikan Islam berbasis budaya lokal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of non-test evaluation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMP Negeri 1 Praya Timur. Identifying the types of non-test evaluation techniques applied in PAI learning and analyzing the strategies used by teachers in implementing non-test evaluation techniques, including how to design and apply them in class and assess the effectiveness of non-test evaluation in improving student learning outcomes, especially in strengthening character and understanding of Islamic values. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, by exploring phenomena, events, and evaluation activities applied by teachers to grade VIII students. Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and principals, document analysis, and field recording. Data validity was strengthened by triangulation techniques, namely integrating various sources and methods of data collection. The results of the study indicate that non-test evaluation in PAI learning has been applied systematically and supports the development of students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects as reflected in the increased understanding of religious values ​​and positive student behavior in the school environment. The overall learning process went well, although in the process there were several obstacles and challenges such as subjectivity in assessment, teacher time constraints and students' lack of understanding of non-test evaluation. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi evaluasi non-tes dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SMP Negeri 1 Praya Timur. Mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis teknik evaluasi non-tes yang diterapkan dalam pembelajaran PAI dan menganalisis strategi yang digunakan guru dalam mengimplementasikan teknik evaluasi non-tes, termasuk bagaimana merancang dan menerapkannya di kelas dan menilai efektivitas evaluasi non-tes dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, terutama dalam penguatan karakter dan pemahaman nilai-nilai keislaman. Penelitian ini Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, dengan menggali fenomena, peristiwa, serta aktivitas evaluasi yang diterapkan oleh guru terhadap siswa kelas VIII. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan guru dan kepala sekolah, analisis dokumen, serta pencatatan lapangan. Keabsahan data diperkuat dengan teknik triangulasi, yaitu mengintegrasikan berbagai sumber dan metode pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi non-tes dalam pembelajaran PAI telah diterapkan secara sistematis dan mendukung pengembangan aspek kognitif, afektif, serta psikomotorik siswa yang tercermin dari peningkatan pemahaman nilai-nilai keagamaan dan perilaku siswa yang positif di lingkungan sekolah. Proses pembelajaran secara keseluruhan berjalan dengan baik, meski didalam prosesnya terdapat beberapa kendala dan tantangan seperti subjektivitas dalam penilaian, keterbatasan waktu guru dan kurangnya pemahaman siswa terhadap evaluasi non-tes.

Abstract

Optimalisasi media pembelajaran digital sangat penting di era digital, terutama untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa STIT Palapa Nusantara, Lombok, dalam mengoptimalkan media pembelajaran digital melalui pendampingan dan pelatihan yang terarah selama program Magang III dan KKN Terpadu. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sesi pelatihan, diskusi kelompok fokus, dan pendampingan langsung di lokasi magang dan KKN. Teknik pengumpulan data melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen terkait penggunaan media digital dalam pendidikan. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif untuk menilai efektivitas program. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan mahasiswa untuk merancang dan menerapkan media pembelajaran digital, yang berdampak positif pada proses pembelajaran di sekolah mitra. Kesimpulan dari program ini adalah bahwa pendampingan dan pelatihan yang intensif dan berkelanjutan secara efektif meningkatkan keterampilan media digital mahasiswa. Implikasi dari hasil ini menekankan pentingnya integrasi media digital dalam kurikulum dan program pengabdian masyarakat di perguruan tinggi untuk menghasilkan lulusan yang kompeten dan siap menghadapi tantangan pendidikan di era digital.

Abstract

This study focuses on the dulang penamat tradition carried out by the Sasak community in Pene and Batu Nampar Villages, with an approach from the perspective of Islamic religious education, multiculturalism, and local democracy. The main objective of this study is to analyze and interpret the meaning of the tradition, not only as a form of cultural preservation, but also as a form of integration of Islamic and multicultural values ​​in the practice of Islamic religious education. This study uses a qualitative method with an field research approach, involving community leaders, families of the deceased and local residents as research subjects. Data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, source reviews, documentation analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis. Data analysis techniques were carried out by applying triangulation of sources and methods, which included cross-verification between the results of observations, interviews, and documentation. While descriptive analysis was carried out based on data findings and empirical facts in the field. In addition, interpretations were made of the symbols in the dulang penamat tradition by identifying patterns and meanings related to the integration of tradition with Islamic religious education, multiculturalism and Islamic democracy. The results of the study explain that the dulang penamat tradition that is carried out not only functions as a post-death perfection ritual, but also becomes a means of preserving spiritual values, social interactions and community culture. These existing values ​​then become the basis for the community to maintain this tradition from generation to generation until now. In the process of its implementation, there are values ​​of charity, prayer, and togetherness in tradition. In addition, the values ​​of Islamic democracy such as deliberation and mutual cooperation are reflected in the collective participation of the community. Islamic religious education learning that emerges through this tradition includes the formation of morals, honesty, and responsibility. This study concludes that dulang penamat is a real manifestation of the harmonization between Islamic values ​​and local traditions, which contributes to the preservation of culture and the strengthening of Islamic values ​​and Islamic religious education in a multicultural society
