Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of TPACK-based discovery learning model on the learning outcomes of elementary school students. The source of data in this study comes from an analysis of 15 national journals published in 2022-2024. The process of data retrieval through the databases of google scholar, ScienceDirect and ERIC Journal. Data selection using PRISMA method in 2020. The inclusion criteria in this study are that the research must be experimental methods or quasi-experiments; research sample of elementary school students; research should be related to TPACK-based dsicovery learning models on student learning outcomes; learning materials related to mathematics and Indonesian; journals must be indexed by Science Technology Index (SINTA) and Garuda; and a sample size of > 20 students. Data analysis in this study is quantitative analysis by calculating the value of effect size assisted by JSAP application Version 0.8.5. The results concluded that the TPACK-based inquiry model had a significant influence on student learning outcomes with rES = 1,114; P < 0.001. This finding has a positive impact on PGSD teachers to implement this model in the learning process.

Abstract

Strong science literacy skills are an important foundation for the younger generation. This study aims to examine how STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) learning can be used to improve science literacy in elementary school students, especially in rural areas. This research uses a community service approach. This community service activity involves the implementation of STEM learning programs designed specifically for elementary school students in rural areas. This program integrates science, technology, engineering, and mathematics-based learning activities. The result of this study is STEM learning in improving the science literacy of elementary school students in rural areas. The findings of this study can contribute to the development of more innovative and effective learning practices to improve students' science literacy, especially in rural areas. This research is also expected to encourage synergy between academics and the community in an effort to improve the quality of science education in rural areas.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of IoT-based flipped learning to improve students' problem-solving skills. This type of research is meta-analysis research. The data sources in this study came from 11 national and international journals. Data sources were searched through Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, Wiley, and Eric. The data collection technique is direct observation through online databases. The inclusion criteria in this study are 1) data sources in the form of national and international journals published from 2019-2023; 2) Experimental or quasi-experimental type of research; 3) Research on flipped learning and solving skills. Research on flipped learning and student problem-solving skills and 4) Data sources in the form of journals or proceedings indexed by SINTA, DOAJ, and Scopus. Data analysis is quantitative descriptive analysis with the help of the JASP application. The results showed that the average effect size value (ES = 0.839) was high. This finding shows that the IoT-based flipped learning model can improve students' problem-solving skills. The flipped learning model helps students to be more creative and innovative in learning.
