Abstract

The research aims to empirically prove the effect of education costs, interests and motivation on the choice of accounting major. This research was conducted on accounting students at Universitas Pembangunan Panca Budi, Medan. This research uses quantitative associative research. The data analysis technique used is the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, and the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square). The basis for sampling in this study used a saturated sample (census) with a total sample of 300 respondents. The results of this study indicate that partially the cost of education, interest and motivation have a significant effect on the selection of accounting majors. This can be seen in the results of the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) which means that the variability of the dependent variable that can be explained by the independent variable is 65.3% %. While the remaining 34.7% is explained by other variables that are not included in the regression model.

Abstract

Marketing is something that can meet or satisfy the needs of customers through various distribution channels through the products offered. Quality of service and price are among the factors that can influence consumer purchasing decisions. This research aims to find out the influence of service quality and price on customer satisfaction in PT. Alamjaya Wirasentosa Padang Sidimpuan. The hypothesis tested is (1) There is a significant influence on the quality of service on customer satisfaction in PT. Alamjaya Wirasentosa Padang Sidimpuan; (2) There is a significant effect of price on customer satisfaction in PT. Alamjaya Wirasentosa Padang Sidimpuan; and (3) There is a significant influence on the Quality of Service and Price together on Customer Satisfaction at PT. Alamjaya Wirasentosa Padang Sidempuan. This research was conducted with survey methods with a quantitative approach. The results of the study concluded; First, there is the influence of quality of service on customer satisfaction in PT. Alamjaya Wirasentosa Padang Sidimpuan. Second, there is a price influence on customer satisfaction in PT. Alamjaya Wirasentosa Padang Sidimpuan. Third, there is the influence of service quality and price together on customer satisfaction at PT. Alamjaya Wirasentosa Padang Sidimpuan. All three showed that the quality of service and price can contribute to customer satisfaction in PT. Alamjaya Wirasentosa Padang Sidimpuan.

Abstract

Business people in Indonesia certainly know how courier services have a big influence on their business. Especially if the business is engaged in e-commerce or other sales. Especially if the business is done online, the delivery factor becomes very important. Only the process of sending goods is carried out manually. Not only that, e-commerce efforts which incessantly always offer promos including free shipping (postage), are believed to be able to increase the attractiveness of people to switch to online shopping. Accompanied by media and technology support that is increasingly adequate in the current era. Along with the increasing intensity of transactions through e-commerce, the number of shipments using its services also increased by 40%. Based on the results of the analysis of the data that has been obtained by the researcher, it can be concluded that the Service Quality variable (X1) and the Delivery Accuracy variable (X2) have an effect on Customer Satisfaction (Y) with a value of 41.2% while 58.8% is influenced by factors or other variables not examined by this study.Keywords: Service Quality, Delivery Accuracy, Customer Satisfaction

Abstract

This study was conducted to explain the partial or simultaneous influence of the variables of supervision, work discipline, and work characteristics on the performance of employees at the Department of Hygiene and Parks in Medan. The total population used was 66 respondents, employees who work in the Department of Hygiene and Parks in Medan City, which were taken using a questionnaire as a method of collecting data in this study. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that there is a simultaneous significant effect between the three variables, and a partially significant influence between the variables of supervision, work discipline, and work characteristics on the performance of employees at the Department of Hygiene and Parks in the City of Meda.Keywords: Supervision, Work Discipline, Job Characteristics, Performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial knowledge and risk tolerance on financial satisfaction at the customers of the Head Office of PT. Bank Pembangunan Daerah Sumatera Utara. This study used a purposive random sampling technique using the Slovin formula which was conducted on 100 samples in 2020. The method used was a questionnaire. The results of this study partially financial knowledge had a positive and insignificant effect to and risk tolerance had a positive and significant influence to financial satisfaction. This study shows the implication that individuals must have a good financial knowledge and a good risk tolerance in order to have a high level of financial satisfaction and an established financial condition.Keywords: Financial Knowledge, Risk Tolerance And Financial Satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether attention, interest, desire and belief simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on consumer buying interest at PT. Crown Petriedo Indoperkasa. The data analysis technique used is the quantitative associative method with the help of the SPSS program. This study uses multiple linear regression. The research sample was 91 respondents. Primary data collection using a questionnaire. The results showed that partial attention had a positive and significant effect on consumer buying interest at PT. Crown Petriedo Indoperkasa. Partial interest has a positive and significant effect on consumer buying interest at PT. Crown Petriedo Indoperkasa. Desire partially positive and significant effect on consumer buying interest at PT. Crown Petriedo Indoperkasa. Confidence partially positive and significant effect on consumer buying interest at PT. Abstract

The study aims to examine and analyze the effect of work discipline, work performance and work loyalty on promotion of production employees at PT. Astra International Tbk-Cabang SM Raja Medan. The population in this study were all employees of the production section of PT. Astra International Tbk-Cabang SM raja Medan totaling 50 employees. This type of research uses explanatory research whit a quantitative approach. The sample  technique used in this study uses saturated sampling. The data collection technique in this research is a questionnaire / questionnaire. Methods of data analysis using descriptive analysis, multiple linear regression analysis and partial determination coefficient. Data analysis was performed using statistics whit SPSS version 21. The results of regression analysis of work discipline have a negative effect on promotion, with a regression coefficient of -1.446 which means that a decrease in work discipline will be followed by a decrease in opportunities for promotion. Job performance has a positive effect on promotion, with a regression coefficient of 1.028, which means an increase in work performance will be followed by an increase in promotion. Job loyalty has a negative effect on promotion, with a regression coefficient of -0.025, which means that a decrease in job loyalty will be followed by a decrease in promotion. The results of the F test show that work discipline, work performance and loyalty simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on promotion.Keywords: Work Discipline, work Performance, work Loyalty and work Promotion

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) Knowing the effect of work motivation on the work commitment of Santa Maria Kabanjahe High School teachers and (2) Knowing the effect of job satisfaction on the work commitment of Santa Maria Kabanjahe High School teachers. The population of this study was the teachers of SMA Santa Maria Kabanjahe, as many as 52 people. Sampling is done proportionally. The research method is path analysis which aims to test theories and obtain information about education. Based on hypothesis testing, it can be concluded: (1) there is a positive influence between work motivation on teacher work commitment of 27.63% (2) there is a positive influence between job satisfaction and teacher work commitment of 7.29%. So to increase the work commitment of teachers, it is necessary to increase work motivation and job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of human resource management in improving employee performance CV. Mitra Jaya Bersama banjarbaru and how human resource management in PDAM Tirtasari Binjai according to management's economic perspective. The data analysis used in this study is to use qualitative methods by means of library research, interviews, and documentation conducted at the research object. The results of this study aim to determine that the role of human resource management is very influential in improving the performance of employees of PDAM Tirtasari Binjai, and also to find out how to improve performance by using the role of human resource management, and to find out how human resource management in the Pdam Tirtasari Binjai according to management's economic perspective.
