Abstract

the nation in reducing the spread of COVID-19 pandemic. Learning is then no longer dependent on textbooks for many, and now both educators and students know to utilize e-learning technology as a tool for study. Educational activities online use many different methods and features, a number of which involve programs like Zoom Meeting, Google Classroom, Google Meet, Schoology, Learning Management system (LMS) and more. This systemic transition in education during the pandemic, with the pertinent technology, is hoped to achieve maximization in academic competency. This change is also hoped to be able to spur motivation in students and yield better academic results among the Primary Level 5 students in the Buddhist and Moral Education class with the application of Google Classroom at SD W.R. Supratman 1 Medan. The effectiveness of learning as a measure of the success of a learning process between students and students, or students with teachers in achieving learning goals and changes to this online or online-based learning system form learning that makes students independent and not dependent on others and students are able to pursue competence in learning by using the Google Classroom application at SD W.R. Supratman 1 Medan. This study uses the quantitative method of data sampling and compiling with questionnaires filled by the research subjects (5th Grade Students of W.R. Supratman 1) for whole total sampling in one semester. Resultant data reveal that R2 (R Squared) is valued at 0.031. This shows that in percentages the independent variable (online study effectiveness using Google Classroom) juxtaposed against the dependent variable (academic results from Elementary Level 5 students on Buddhism and Morals) stand at 3.1%, leaving the rest of 96.9% nailed to miscellaneous variables. The use of Google Classroom has a positive impact on learning outcomes for Buddhist and Moral Education subjects, so all those involved can improve learning facilities so as to create comfortable and comfortable learning conditions effective for teachers and students.

Abstract

Masa remaja merupakan fase transisi penting yang kerap menimbulkan ketegangan emosional akibat perubahan biologis dan sosial yang cepat. Ketidakmampuan remaja dalam mengelola emosi dapat menimbulkan sikap negatif, seperti menurunnya empati dan kesadaran sosial. Dalam konteks pendidikan Buddhis, latihan merenungkan Ānāpānasati diyakini mampu menumbuhkan kesadaran diri serta keseimbangan emosional melalui pengamatan napas yang terarah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh praktik meditasi Ānāpānasati terhadap perkembangan kecerdasan emosional siswa beragama Buddha di SMA Swasta Bodhicitta Medan. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dengan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 100 siswa kelas XII. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Ānāpānasati berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kecerdasan emosional, dengan nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 0,873 dan nilai thitung 9,798, lebih tinggi dari t tabel 1,661 (p<0,05). Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,495 menunjukkan bahwa 49,5% variasi kecerdasan emosional dipengaruhi oleh praktik pengeditan, sementara sisanya 50,5% dipengaruhi faktor lain. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa latihan Ānāpānasati efektif dalam memperkuat kesadaran diri, pengendalian emosi, serta kemampuan interpersonal siswa. Secara praktis, hasil penelitian ini merekomendasikan integrasi kegiatan konversi ke dalam proses pembelajaran sebagai sarana pengembangan karakter dan kesejahteraan psikologis peserta didik dalam pendidikan Buddhis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex post facto yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan motivasi belajar, disiplin belajar, kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar peserta didik materi sistem pernapasan kelas VIII SMPN di Kabupaten Majene. Menganalisis motivassi belajar, disiplin belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kritis berpengaruh langsung terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN di Kabupaten Majene. Menganalisis motivasi belajar dan disiplin belajar berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap hasil belajar IPA Biologi siswa melalui kemampuan berpikir kritis. Populasi penelitian ini siswa kelas VIII di 4 SMPN dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 210 orang siswa di Kabupaten Majene yang diambil secara stratified random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui pemberian angket dan tes pilihan ganda. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial dengan Uji analisis jalur. Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa analisis deskriptif motivasi belajar berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 44,10%. Analisis deskripif disiplin belajar berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 39,10%. Analisis deskriptif kemampuan berpikir kritis berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 42,80%. Analisis deskriptif hasil belajar biologi berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 39,50%. Sedangkan analisis inferensial melalui analisis jalur menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh langsung motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 0,363 dengan nilai signifikan 0,00<0,05. Terdapat pengaruh langsung disiplin belajar terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 0,175 dengan nilai signifikan 0,00<0,005. Terdapat pengaruh langsung kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap hasil belajar IPA Biologi sebesar 0,308 dengan nilai signifikan 0,04<0,005. Terdapat pengaruh secara tidak langsung motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar IPA Biologi melalui kemampuan berpikir kritis sebesar 0,496. Terdapat pengaruh secara tidak langsung disiplin belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPA Biologi melalui kemampuan berpikir kritis sebesar 0,285.

Abstract

Binaan Baru Village is one of the villages in Belawang Sub-district, Barito Kuala Regency. Binaan Baru Village is located on the banks of the Barito River, which is still part of the daily activities of the community. The waste issue in Binaan Baru Village is a very crucial problem that needs to be resolved because it has disrupted and affected the lives of the people of Binaan Baru Village. Because the waste problem in Binaan Baru Village did not receive full attention, the service team implemented the program “Building Waste Hazard Awareness Through Visualization of Waste Hazard in the Community of Binaan Baru Village” as a solution for the village. Through programs that are supported by living in the village for 35 days, the service team seeks to increase community participation and awareness of the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness because it affects the social life of the people of Binaan Baru Village. In its realization, there are several programs implemented by carrying out activities including: 1) Handicrafts made from inorganic waste; 2) Appeal signs to protect the environment; 3) Mutual cooperation to clean the environment; 4) “Environmental Campaign” to raise public awareness in protecting the environment through films; 5) Socialization of waste sorting; 6) Provision of trash bins; 7) Joint discussion about the sustainability of the village environment. The result of this service is the action of gotong royong in cleaning the environment and making trash cans can attract the community and sympathize with environmental cleanliness. Socialization about waste sorting as well as teaching handicraft making made from inorganic waste. Through this program, the team hopes to encourage the community to increase their knowledge about the dangers of waste and be more concerned about waste management. So that a waste-free environment will be realized in the New Assisted Village.

Abstract

The Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach has become the focus in the Buddhist lecture process so that students can apply Buddhism in all aspects of life. This CTL approach is in line with the principles of Applied Buddhism and the Buddhayana Spirit Movement which are two important aspects of Buddhist life. This study aims to apply the CTL approach in the context of Chinese courses to STAB Bodhi Dharma students, using the learning media of picture stories "Buddha's Biography." Classroom Action Research Methods are used to develop this research through a cycle of problem diagnosis, action design, action execution and observation, data analysis, evaluation and reflection. Efforts to apply Buddhism in student life through Chinese courses with learning media for picture stories "Buddha's Life History" have succeeded in integrating understanding Chinese with Buddhist values and teachings. The results showed that through this learning medium, students not only gained Chinese language skills, but also understood the values of Buddhist life that can be applied in daily life and become part of efforts to develop the Buddhayana Spirit Movement.
