Abstract

AbstractThis research is about the contraints of speaking skills in English. The purpose of this research is mainly to 1. describe the students' problems in speaking and 2. to describe effective solutions to overcome constraints in speaking, the participants of this study were 13 students who were at seven grade in Islamic Junior High School of Darul Ulum, the instruments used in this research were observation, interview, and documentation. After getting the data results, the researcher continued to analyze and determine the categories of speaking difficulties, and teacher constraints when teaching. The results of this research showed that 80% had difficulty with 20% learning as usual, the most prominent problems in the speaking process consisted of minimal vocabulary, poor pronunciation, and grammatical errors. Other factors include an unsupportive environment that causes students to not have enough motivation to learn English, teachers play an active role in overcoming problems such as providing vocabulary continuously, creating a pleasant learning atmosphere, and motivating students in speaking learning.Keywords: Student Contraints, Speaking, Islamic Junior High School of Darul Ulum

Abstract

This study aims to determine educational management from the perspective of the Qur'an. This research uses qualitative methods with a literature study approach. The result of this research is that management is the process of utilizing all resources through people and working with them. The process is to achieve common goals effectively, efficiently, and productively. The principles of educational management according to the Qur'an include sincerity, honesty, trustworthiness, justice, responsibility, dynamic, practical, flexible, selective, effective and efficient, open, cooperative and participatory, giving warnings, giving directions and directions. The conclusion of this study is henceforth, management functions such as planning, organizing, mobilizing, and supervising. This function is a process that must be carried out by all parties involved in an organization. Abstract

In teaching English, student learning styles are factors that influence student learning tactics. learning style is an overall pattern that offers learning behavior a widespread direction. in an effort to reach their full potential, a person will expand abilties that help a person learn in a number of approaches. particularly in speaking abilities. In understanding speaking abilities, students often experience numerous issues, one among which is gender differences. The motive of this research is to conduct studies in analyzing the mastering forms of speaking abilties that are most customarily applied by means of students and finding full-size differences in learning styles of speaking skills based on gender in teaching English. Qualitative descriptive studies is a research layout in this study. From this research review, it changed into found out that male and female students use the identical learning style, however fluctuate in the frequency of using the learning fashion. female students use the visual learning style with a mean of 3.8, while male students with an average of 3.5. The average of female students who use auditory is 4.6, while the common of male students is 3.4. For the common female student who uses kinesthetic is 3.7 but the average male student is 2.8.

Abstract

Academic supervision is one of a school principal's main duties and responsibilities. This study aims to describe the academic supervision practices of principals in public junior high schools based on teachers' perceptions. This study was conducted in Probolinggo City East Java Province, by distributing a questionnaire to 109 teachers in three selected SMPNs. The questionnaire had been validated using the expert judgment technique. The data collected from the questionnaire were analyzed quantitatively. The findings show that the public junior high school principals supervised the teachers regarding their teaching-related responsibilities. The prominent supervision practice exercised by the principals was motivating teachers to take advantage of information technology in teaching. The weakest one performed by the principals was related to helping teachers in developing the syllabus required by the current national curriculum. Thus, some school principals’ academic supervision practices still need improvement..Keywords: academic supervision, principalship

Abstract

This study focused on finding out whether “Constructivism Principle” approach can be used to improve students’ vocabulary mastery in the fifth grade of SDN ZAHA Probolinggo.This research involved twenty fifve students,thereare ten boys ang fifteen girls.The research instruments of this study consisted of obsevation guide in learning process, test, and given questionnaire. This study was a classroom action research. From the first cycle reflection result, some procedures and activities were revised accordingly.Steps include: (1)The students did the activities in groups made by the teacher which was not previously done in cycle 1; (2) different from cycle 1 which used “constructivism principle”.In cycle 2 used Constructivism principle and some pictures related of tehnique used.The result from the action in cycle 2 was that the average score of students achieve 80,96.It can be concluded that used “Constructivism principle” tehnique can improve the vocabulary mastery in the fifth grade of SDN ZAHA Probolinggo.
