The Effect of Problem Based Learning on EFL Studentsâ Critical Thinking Skill and Learning Outcome Bashith, Abdul; Amin, Saiful

This research aims to examine the effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to studentsâ critical thinking skill and learning outcome. It was conducted on the 11th graders of social science program at SMAN 6 Malang. The research material was the problems of demography. Research method was quasi experiment with non equivalent control group design. The data analysis used t-test technique. The research result showed that PBL learning model affected studentsâ critical thinking skill and learning outcome in SMAN 6 Malang. The average gain score of experimental class is 33.10, higher than control class, which is 16.24. The result of t-test analysis is 0.000 smaller than the significance of 0.05. It is suggested that PBL becomes one of aalternative teaching models that could be implemented to enhance students critical thingking skill.

The present reality of modern life mainstreaming of information and interaction as a source of capitalization of the search values, like maintaining a fire. If the use is quite proportional, then the technology and information into one medium that can deliver the deep nature of human life. But on the other hand, information technology and human interaction can be bamboozling in understanding the reality of what happened. The phenomenon that is now implicated in the use of social networking. Regardless of what people do routine, always expressed, reflected and internalized into the social networking site. The existence of increasingly affirms the social networking site to meet the desires of the way humans interact, but not infrequently social networking is also capable of carrying humans to the space that is "gray" zone between private and public sectors.

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in class VIA the second semester of academic year 2013-2014 at MIN Pembantanan, Sungai Tabuk, Banjar Regency, in mathematics by using active learning model type of critical incident. This classroom action research conducted in two cycles. At each cycle, the cycle 1 and cycle 2 consists of two meetings with 2x35 minute time allocation. The subjects of this study were students VIA MIN Pembantanan, Sungai Tabuk, Banjar Regency, second semester of academic year 2013-2014, the number of subjects are 28 students, which are 15 men and 13 women. Data in this study were obtained through observation and written tests, while data analysis technique used is the average and percentage. The results were obtained (1) Implementation of the learning with the application of learning strategies in the learning of mathematics critical incident coordinates material in class VIA MIN Pembantanan, Sungai Tabuk, Banjar Regency, runs well and maximum. The quality of learning is increasing based on teaching-learning activities increased with the percentage of 73.9% in the first meeting and the second meeting 82.6%. At the first meeting of the second cycle is 95.6% and in the second meeting reaches 100%. Overall average percentage of the teacher’s teaching process included in the “Very Good” category; (2) Activity of students in the percentage increased from 68% in the first meeting to 72% in the second meeting. At the first meeting of the second cycle is 86% to 96% at the second meeting; (3) The results of student learning increased with the implementation of learning strategies critical incident on the material “coordinate”, it can be seen on student learning outcomes in the first cycle, the average value at the first meeting is 50.7, and the second meeting is 57.14. Then in the second cycle at the first meeting and the second meeting are 69.6 and 76.78. Thus the critical incident learning strategies in mathematics learning of coordinate materials can be said to be successful because of the results achieved already meet that target thoroughness in learning mastery learning value of 56.00.

Islam is a comprehensive religion, including business gets the attention the Koran. Islam teaches the values of ethical, moral and spiritual life that serves as a guide life to its adherents, not least at the economic field. Lots of Islamic teachings so that Islamic people want to work hard for themselves be honest in business, and looking for a business from their own hand to do good deeds. Entrepreneurial can be said as people who fight against the competition in the field of economics, and whoever doing entrepreneur accordance with the norms of law, religion, and economics then he was included as a reliable entrepreneurs in carrying out the strategies and policies that have been implemented in the fields of economics, included in the category of people who want to seriously in the running life. Islamic entrepreneurship are required to have the strength and values who is able to uphold its business. Thus the study of Islamic entrepreneurship in education and management of student cooperatives be interesting to learn and do in order to continue its operations by giving attention to the principles of Islam. Department of Social Sciences Education Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK) conducts Field Work Practice (PKL) for students at leading schools / madrasahs in East Java. On an ongoing basis the activities are developed with an internship pattern following the provisions in the framework of Indonesian national qualification (KKNI). The purpose of this study focuses on the evaluation of the implementation of field work practices in applying internships to the curriculum of social science education based on KKNI. This research uses qualitative approach, especially using evaluation research. From the results of the discussion can be concluded: (1) The results of monitoring and supervision of the implementation of field work practices conducted by using standardized statement instrument sheet, (2) Responses and evaluations regarding the implementation of field work practicesÂ showed good results in terms of administration, This internship program is an integral partÂ for students of IPS FITK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Suggestions that can be recommended from the results of this study are: (1) Implementation of a good street vendors can be continuously improved and updated in technical implementation with electronic electronic systems based online, (2) Evaluation of the good about street vendors continue to be maintained and improved by establishing More intensive communication between the parties concerned, (3) Enrollment of apprenticeship in the curriculum of social science education based on KKNI that has been designed and set out to be a special marker character must be maintained and guarded in its implementation and constantly evaluated periodically and continuously in the improvementKeywords: Evaluation of PKL, Enforcement of Internship, Curriculum of Education of Social Sciences Based KKNI.

Abstrack : This study aims to determine the response of students of the Madin qualification program to Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah (AIK) courses as well as the implementation of the AIK course learning at STIT Muhammadiyah Bojonegoro where almost all of these students have Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) background. This study used a qualitative descriptive analytic method, with a focus on research of 5th semester students with a total number of respondents as many as 29 students who were the 2018 class. Data collection techniques used in this study included observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study can be given the meaning that (1) the provision of AIK courses to Madin students is well accepted and necessary to increase knowledge insight; (2) based on the results of interviews with students in the class, the lecturer gave a very good understanding and did not blame other understandings; (3) the material is in accordance with the curriculum and can provide great influence on the Muhammadiyah perspective so that it allows them to understand Muhammadiyah. Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon mahasiswa program kualifikasi Madin terhadap mata kuliah Agama Islam dan KeMuhammadiyahan (AIK) serta pelaksanaan pembelajaran mata kuliah AIK di STIT Muhammadiyah Bojonegoro dimana hampir semua mahasiswa tersebut memiliki latar belakang Nahdlatul Ulama (NU). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik kualitatif, dengan fokus penelitian pada mahasiswa semester 5 dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 29 mahasiswa yang merupakan angkatan 2018. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) pemberian mata kuliah AIK kepada mahasiswa Madin diterima dengan baik dan diperlukan untuk menambah wawasan pengetahuan; (2) berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan mahasiswa di kelas, dosen memberikan pemahaman yang sangat baik dan tidak menyalahkan pemahaman lain; (3) Materi yang sesuai dengan kurikulum dan dapat memberikan pengaruh yang besar terhadap cara pandang Muhammadiyah sehingga memungkinkan mereka memahami Muhammadiyah

Respon Kemendikbud terhadap covid 19 adalah kebijakan belajar di dan dari rumah. Respon sentimen dan emosi publik atas kebijakan belajar di rumah bermacam-macam dan dapat dilihat dari media sosial khususnya Twitter. Mengetahui sentimen dan emosi public pengguna twitter atas kebijakan belajar di rumah adalah tujuan penelitian ini. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pengumpulan data dari Twitter dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sistem big data bernama Drone Emprit Academic dengan memberikan Keyword #Belajardirumah; Belajar dari rumah. Batas data satu bulan yaitu mulai tanggal 1 April sampai 29 April 2020. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan volume Percakapan di dapat 89,389 adalah total dari mention twitter seputar belajar di rumah. Analisis sentimen menunjukkan sebesar 41k atau 46% menyatakan sentimen negatif, sementara sentimen positif sebesar 44,2k atau 50%, dan 3,2k atau 4% menyatakan netral

Kelurahan Tunggulwulung merupakan salah daerah di Kecamatan Lowokwaru, Kota Malang yang memiliki potensi daerah berupa kesenian budaya tradisional. Hal ini dapat menjadikan Kelurahan Tunggulwulung sebagai daerah yang berpotensi untuk dikembangkan menjadi kampung wisata budaya di Kota Malang. Perlu adanya pemberdayaan masyarakat Tunggulwulung melalui pelatihan tembang macapat. Melalui program kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, diharapkan menjadi salah satu program yang tepat dalam membantu masyarakat Tunggulwulung meningkatkan potensi daerah sebagai Kampung Budaya Tunggulwulung Yang Berbhineka Tunggal Ika yang dikenal masyarakat luas, baik nasional maupun internasional. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui perencanaan pelatihan tembang macapat; (2) terealisasikan pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan tembang macapat; (3) menumbuhkan kesadaran dari hasil kegiatan pelatihan tembang macapat; dan (4) mengetahui hambatan-hambatan kegiatan pelatihan tembang macapat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Partisipatory Action Research (PAR) dengan tahapan: Plan (Perencanaan), Action (Tindakan), Observe (Pengamatan), dan Reflect (Refleksi). Hasil pengabdian berbasis riset ini, yaitu (1) penyusunan materi kegiatan pelatihan tembang macapat pada tahap perencanaan; (2) pelaksanaan latihan tembang macapat bertempat di Sekolah Budaya Tunggulwulung; (3) kegiatan pelatihan ini dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap Kelurahan Tunggulwulung dalam mendukung terciptanya kampung budaya; dan (4) hambatan pada pelatihan tembang macapat: a) sulit menemukan waktu dalam latihan,b) peserta pelatihan dari kalangan tertentu saja, dan c) warga Kelurahan Tunggulwulung tidak semua warga berasal dari Jawa, sehingga enggan mengikuti pelatihan. Tembang Macapat: Motivator of Tunggulwulung VillageTowards the Malang City Cultural Tourism Village ABSTRACT Tunggulwulung Village is one of the areas in Lowokwaru District, Malang City which has regional potential in the form of traditional cultural arts. This can make Tunggulwulung Village an area that has the potential to be developed into a cultural tourism village in Malang. The need for community empowerment in Tunggulwulung through macapat song training. Through the community service program at the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, it is expected to be one of the right programs to help the people of Tunggulwulung improve the potential of the region as the Diverse Single Cultural Community of Tunggulwulung, known to the wider community, both nationally and internationally. This community service activity aims to: (1) know the planning of a macapat song training; (2) the implementation of macapat song training activities is realized; (3) raising awareness of the results of macapat song training activities; and (4) know the obstacles of macapat song training activities. This research uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method with stages: Plan, Action, Observe, and Reflect. The results of this research-based service, namely (1) the preparation of material for macapat song training activities at the planning stage; (2) the macapat song training exercise takes place at the Tunggulwulung Cultural School; (3) this training activity can contribute to the Tunggulwulung Village in supporting the creation of a cultural village; and (4) barriers to macapat song training: a) it is difficult to find time in training, b) only certain participants, and c) not all residents of Tunggulwulung Kelurahan are from Java, so they are reluctant to attend training. This study is aimed to elaborate the criminology and gender approaches taken to provide curriculum material contents in forming curriculum models for fostering child detainees in the child prison. Using legal and conceptual approaches, this study elaborates the findings as follows: in the criminology perspective, to provide curriculum material contents in forming curriculum models for fostering child detainees in child prison is by using religious approach, completing facilities and infrastructures, optimizing employee roles, applying formal education in prison, giving treatment and health care, supporting for the creation of social recovery, giving remission of crimes and assimilated opportunities including a leave to visit family or parole and a leave before being released. Whereas, in the gender perspective, it is by not distinguishing between sexes during the treatment to them. In addition, the final result of the curriculum model formation for fostering child detainees in child prison of LPKA (Child-specific Guidance Institution) in Blitar can be referred to as; the treatment system for correctional students in prison. This system consists of input in the form of an initial stage of 0 to 1/3 course with an administrative orientation pattern; the advanced stage consists of 1/3 to ½ course and ½ to 2/3 course; the final stage is 2/3 to any uncertain course stage with the achievement of correctional goal that is social reintegration: live, life, livelihood.
