Abstract

This study aimed to understand the characteristics of the fear of failure based on a young entrepreneurial career interests of students. This research is a qualitative research descriptive narrative with a phenomenological approach to the entrepreneurial young entrepreneur student member of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association at the Education University of Indonesia. Results from this study is the fear of failure that is divided into three major themes of the careers of the consequences, consequences on the psychological and financial consequences to the student.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to find out the performance culture of teachers guidance and counseling in schools that become aspects of professional competence booster. The scope of this study covers five dimensions of performance culture: Power distance, Uncertainty avoidance, individualism-collectivism, masculinity-femininity, and time orientation. The method used is descriptive analysis. The results of this study are to show low criteria in dimension Power distance, height in the dimension of uncertainty avoidance, is collectivism, femininity and has long-term oriented time.

Abstract

THE IMPORTANCE OF ADAPTABILITY AND CAREER RESILIENCE DURING THE PANDEMIC. The main focus of this article is to explore the importance of career adaptability and resilience in dealing with a pandemic. Through various sources of literature it was found that career adaptability and resilience not only as a goal but also as a process. The development of career adaptability and resilience requires professional intervention through career guidance and counseling.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research. The subjects of the research were students and BK teachers at SMA Negeri 3 Cirebon. From the population of grade XII students of SMA Negeri 3 Cirebon, there were 320 students and the sample used with a 10% chi square error rate from the population of 147 students. Data collection was carried out by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out on the forms of career guidance implementation carried out in schools. Through career guidance activities, students are equipped with activities related to how to plan for the future, meaning that students are given direction and knowledge about the world of work according to their desired field from the beginning of their entry. That way, students plan their careers accordingly without any mistakes and students can succeed in achieving their desired careers.

Abstract

Pemikiran awal yang mendasari studi ini adalah profile guru BK harus diketahui terlebih dahulu agar bimbingan konseling dapat diterapkan dengan baik sesuai fungsi dari guru BK itu sendiri di setiap sekolah khususnya Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Cirebon. Profil guru BK diperlukan untuk mengetahui latar belakang profesi seorang guru BK dengan demikian dapat diketahui tugas, peran dan kompetensi yang dimilikinya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini terdapat tiga guru Bimbingan dan Konseling yang berada di MAN 1 Cirebon, terdapat sistem organisasi guru Bimbingan dan Konseling di MAN 1 Cirebon, program kegiatan yang di laksanakan meliputi Penyusunan program kegiatan, Program Bimbingan dan Konseling, Pelayanan Bimbingan dan Konseling dan kegiatan pendukung, dengan adanya pelaksanaan bimbingan dan konseling secara berkesinambungan ini diharapkan peserta didik mampu merubah karakter individunya lebih baik dalam lingkungan sekolah, lingkungan rumah maupun lingkungan masyarakat agar menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

Career guidance provided by guidance and counseling teachers in SMK (Senior High School) with the topic of career resilience profile, aims to determine the career resilience of SMK students which functions as an alternative support and information about the world of work. In developing resilience owned by SMK students, guidance and counseling teachers facilitate career guidance according to the needs of SMK students, and provide soft skills training in career guidance by utilizing media owned by the school, so that the goal of resilience of SMK graduates is expected to have adaptability, independence, confidence that they are capable in any work environment. With the existence of career guidance for SMK students, it is hoped that SMK graduates will have a good resilience profile, this will also have a good impact on reducing the number of unemployed in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the career adaptability of class XII Automotive students at SMK PGRI 2 Palimanan. The method used is quantitative descriptive, which aims to describe the current situation systematically and factually. Data were collected through career adaptability measurements on 79 students, which were divided into two categories: high and low. The results showed that 56 students (68.35%) had high career adaptability, while 23 students (31.65%) had low career adaptability. The highest score obtained by students was 72, and the lowest score was 45, with an average score of 57.64. This shows that the majority of students have good career adaptability. The increase in students' career adaptability is influenced by the cooperation between Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers and the head of Career Guidance (BKK) in providing an understanding of career levels and motivation. Career guidance services at SMK PGRI 2 Palimanan help students to find and determine career fields that suit them. Thus, effective career guidance services can support students' career development.

Abstract

This community service program implemented the HydroSense appropriate technology to address water turbidity issues in tilapia cultivation at BUMDes Pasir Gubah, Pakapasan Girang Village. Using a collaborative approach between the Youth Group (Karang Taruna) and BUMDes, the program included socialization, technical and managerial training, device installation, and mentoring. Monitoring results over three months showed significant impacts: fish mortality decreased by 82.3% (from 48% to 9.5%), biomass productivity increased by 43.2%, and income surged by 69% per pond due to improved fish quality enabling a higher selling price. The program not only resolved technical problems but also built an empowerment and sustainability model through strengthening local institutions.

Abstract

Gaya belajar memiliki peran penting dalam proses pembelajaran, di mana setiap mahasiswa memiliki cara tersendiri dalam memahami materi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi gaya belajar mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bimbingan dan Konseling Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Cirebon berdasarkan model VARK (Visual, Auditory, Read/Write, Kinesthetic). Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan melibatkan 34 mahasiswa sebagai sampel. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi kuesioner VARK dan wawancara dengan teknik random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas gaya belajar mahasiswa adalah read/write (53%), auditory (26%), kombinasi auditory dan read/write (6%), kombinasi read/write dan kinesthetic (3%), kombinasi antara visual, auditory, dan read/write (3%), kombinasi antara visual, read/write, dan kinesthetic (3%), kombinasi antara visual, auditory, dan kinesthetic (3%). Tidak ada mahasiswa yang hanya menggunakan gaya belajar visual atau kinesthetic. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa memiliki kecenderungan gaya belajar campuran untuk mendukung efektivitas pembelajaran.
