Abstract

Pengelolaan marah, dikaitkan dengan pendidikan akhlak dan characterbuilding mempunyai orientasi yang sama, yaitu pembentukan karakter mulia dalampengendalian diri (self control). Pendidikan akhlak berasal dari bahasa Arab, lebihterkesan timur dan berasal dari agama Islam, sementara character building yangberasal dari Barat dan sekuler, merupakan dua hal yang berbeda tetapi tidak dapatterpisahkan karena terkait erat dengan karakter dan nilai-nilai spiritualitas.Bila sejauh ini character building merupakan tahapan operasionalpembentukan karakter yang meliputi berbagai pendekatan, metode, strategi, danteknik, sedangkan pendidikan akhlak sebagai pusat informasi kriteria ideal seorangmanusia yang berakhlak mulia dengan berdasarkan Al-Quran dan As Sunnah, makamemadukan keduanya menjadi suatu tawaran yang sangat inspiratif dalammembentuk karakter mulia yang menyeluruh. Hal ini sekaligus menjadi catatanpenting dalam upaya pengelolaan marah bahwa nilai-nilai spiritualitas dan agamadalam pendidikan akhlak memiliki ikatan yang kuat dengan character building.

Abstract

The psychological approach to preaching is one approach that can be used among teenagers. For this reason, this research aims to use a preaching psychology approach in dealing with the problem of student individualism as a result of developments in science and technology. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews, with the Miles and Huberman model as a data analysis technique. The results of the research show that the preaching psychology approach is an approach that can be used to deal with student individualism by understanding perceptions. The stages of understanding perception carried out are understanding perceptions about social life, providing the social environment as an experience. With the right knowledge and experience, they will slowly shape their personality and not be easily swayed.

Abstract

The main problem addressed in this study is the low public awareness of mental health importance and the strong social stigma that still exists in multicultural areas such as Batahan, Mandailing Natal. The purpose of this study is to describe the process of community mental health empowerment through the application of a multicultural counseling approach that aligns with local values and cultural contexts. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document studies involving community members, traditional leaders, and professionals participating in the empowerment program. The results show that the implementation of multicultural counseling successfully enhances community awareness of mental health importance, strengthens individual coping mechanisms, improves social interactions, and increases community participation in sustainable mental health activities. These findings emphasize that integrating a multicultural approach into community mental health empowerment programs is highly effective, especially in culturally diverse regions like Batahan

Abstract

Muhammad Iqbal emerged during a period of intellectual stagnation in the Muslim world in the early 20th century, introducing a fresh and visionary idea: the reconstruction of religious thought. In his seminal work, The Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam, Iqbal proposed a way out of this stagnation by revitalizing the Islamic intellectual heritage while engaging in a critical dialogue with modernity. This study aims to examine the key concepts of Iqbal's project, including his critique of Greek philosophy, his dynamic view of ijtihad (legal reasoning), his theory of the "Khudi" (Self), his dynamic concept of God and the universe, and his vision of spiritual democracy. Using a qualitative approach with philosophical-hermeneutic analysis, this research concludes that while Iqbal's thought has been widely appreciated as a revitalizing force for Islamic intellectualism, it has also faced criticism concerning its practical implementation and philosophical consistency. The study finds that Iqbal's ideas remain profoundly relevant today, particularly in navigating the challenges of modernity without sacrificing Islamic identity.
