Abstract

Companies engaged in heavy equipment, both distributors and heavy equipment maintenance processes, generally have warehouses in the storage of spare parts. UT Surabaya has many support points that result in the accumulation of spare parts storage to eat other areas. As a result, the company's workflow is hampered due to improper placement of spareparts in the proper area which results in damage to spare parts. One method that can solve this problem is the Systematic Layout Planning method. This method has a detailed procedure for arranging layouts so that it can bring up more than one alternative layout. In addition, the Class Based Storage method is also used as a design and calculation of racks to design a warehousing system that is aligned within the company. The use of this method resulted in the proposed layout material handling cost, namely the total initial layout OMH was Rp759,235.74, - while the proposed layout OMH was Rp646,000.06,-,. In the comparison of OMH, it was found that the cost decreased by Rp113,235.68,- per day. So the new layout is able to increase the efficiency of mileage material handling costs.

Abstract

PT. United Tractors is a heavy equipment distribution company selling spare parts such as oil filters. The results of the problems being faced by PT. UT cannot meet customers' demand; therefore, an oil filter sales forecasting analysis uses the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA), Exponential Smoothing (ES), and Trend Moment method. The results of calculations and research carried out after processing data from 2013 to 2022, the slightest error value is obtained in the Exponential Smoothing method with the Double Exponential Smoothing model using a= 0.9. The accuracy values obtained are MAD= 5.021, MSE= 59.674, dan MAPE= 0.086%, when compared to ARIMA, MAD= 8.192, MSE= 131.473, and MAPE= 0.152%, and Trend Moment MAD= 132.447, MSE= 17788.856, and MAPE= 2.261%. So, the chosen method is Exponential Smoothing.

Abstract

PT Semen Gresik secara konsisten menjadi perusahaan yang berkomitmen untuk mengoptimalkan penggunaan Bahan Bakar & Bahan Baku Alternatif (AFR) untuk mewujudkan operasi yang berkelanjutan. AFR merupakan salah satu bentuk dari thermal substitution rate (TSR). Untuk memenuhi target thermal substitution rate (TSR), PT Semen Gresik membangun fasilitas penyimpanan Alternative Fuel & Raw Material (AFR) yang nantinya akan diangkut menuju apron belt feeder dengan kapasitas 25 ton/jam dengan bantuan wheel loader. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui berapa lama waktu angkut yang dibutuhkan untuk memindahkan bahan bakar alternatif ke apron belt feeder dengan menggunakan wheel loader. Analisis dihitung dengan menggunakan metode cycle time dan metode perhitungan Time and Motion Study (TMS) untuk menentukan waktu siklus dan waktu baku. Hasil analisis perhitungan waktu operasional mesin wheel loader untuk memindahkan bahan bakar alternatif dari gudang penyimpanan ke apron belt feeder, untuk cycle time sebesar 4,07 menit sedangkan waktu standar sebesar 5 menit dalam sekali angkut.
