Abstract

Many disaster due to the magnitude of disturbance sea waves behind a study on the stability control system rolling corvette warship KRI Hassanudin SIGMA-366. In this study a comparison between dynamics modeling warship approach Nomoto linear and nonlinear Hamamoto. Fuzzy logic control is used Takagi Sugeno. KLF have two inputs, error heading and yaw rate. External disturbances such as waves disturbances sea state six. With the wave disturbances, responce control rolling stability to longer than no disturbances . Response actual stabilization test and simulation rolingl with input heading 200 and 300 in according to the standards of IMO (International Maritime Organization). The results of the modeling system performance stability control ship when the sea state is given disturbance wave six conducted by Nomoto linear method is better than the nonlinear state space Hamamoto method. Maximum overshoot generated by a closed loop system with linear and nonlinear wave disturbances have met the criteria with a maximum system stability overshoot twice before returning to a steady state with a maximum of time 18 seconds.

Abstract

The coast is an area that has potential for tourist attractions, including for turtle conservation which is relied on as a support for the economy. Turtles are one of the protected animals, not just protected by law because they are feared they will become extinct. The Turtle Conservation "Pearl of the Masaran Sea" which is located on Sumbreng Beach, East Java, is one of the turtle conservation areas developed by the Trenggalek Lentera Society. Activities carried out at the turtle conservation site "Pearl of the Masaran Sea" include relocating turtle eggs, caring for turtle eggs, combing eggs, and also releasing hatchlings. There are 5 types of turtles that are protected on Sumbreng beach, some of which are green turtles and hawksbill turtles which are included in the Appendix I category, which means they are prohibited from being traded internationally. Apart from visiting tourists being able to see the turtle breeding process, this conservation also provides economic tourism such as small Jeep facilities that are used to get around the beach and releasing hatchlings in certain months. However, due to lack of exposure to this conservation area. This resulted in a small number of tourists coming, and also some tourists coming in the wrong month and not being able to see the hatchlings being released onto the beach. Therefore, this service presents an innovation in the form of a website facility that is useful for updating all activities taking place at the "Pearl of the Masaran Sea" Turtle Conservation. So it can attract more tourists to visit this tourist attraction and tourists can also find out which months are effective for visiting this tourist attraction. It is hoped that the "Pearl of the Masaran Sea" turtle conservation will have the potential for educational tourism which can be developed further, so that it can support the economy of the surrounding community and can also be used as a source of income for managing the turtle conservation itself.

Abstract

Lubricating oil vessel is a component that is essential for the smooth and operational cruise ships in the machine maintenance .The shipping companies that still do a rough guess to supply demand lubricating oil must have ripe for calculation based on a voyage made in supply , and from year to year lubricating oilprice increases , who is influential on the operational expenses costs .This research aims to obtain the lubricating oil the optimum route a to b in one trip and knows how the cost savings of the lubricating oil. Methods used in this research is fuzzy tsukamoto .The result showed 2054 liters per trip on ME and 1284 liters on AE engine the forecasting mape 7,3 %and 9,5 % .The cost of purchases demand lubricating oil on a ME engine save Rp .80.837.330 and machinery ae Rp. 53,065,812.95This research contributed to optimal lubricating oil demand in shipping per trip.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis SWOT yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kinerja operasional terminal peti kemas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab menurunnya nilai Dwelling Time dan mengetahui strategi yang paling tepat untuk mengatasi Dwelling Time. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis SWOT yang didukung dengan matriks IFE, matriks EFE, matriks IE dan matriks QSPM. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 10 faktor internal yang terdiri dari 5 kekuatan dan 5 kelemahan, kemudian 10 faktor eksternal yang terdiri dari 5 peluang dan 5 ancaman. Kemudian diketahui posisi perusahaan berada pada sel 1 yaitu tumbuh dan berkembang serta mendapatkan rekomendasi strategi perbaikan Dwelling Time.

Abstract

According to Dock News data on repair projects throughout 2022 carried out at PT PAL Indonesia's Dock shows that the MT Ratu Ruwaidah repair project is the only project that has increased duration, which is 64 days. The purpose of the research is to find out the root cause of the increase in duration, evaluate the risks, and find out the recommendations for handling. Starting with the Fault Tree Analysis method to obtain the Minimal Cut Set of the root cause of the increase. Furthermore, determining the Minimal Cut Set as a failure mode for Severity, Occurrence and Detection assessment by respondents to be processed in the Failure Modes, Effect and Criticality Analysis method. With the risk treatment matrix, failure modes can be identified how to handle them. The result of the research is that there are 23 events from the minimum cut set that are determined as failure modes. In the processing of the Failure Modes, Effect And Criticality Analysis method, the Pareto diagram stage obtained only 13 priority event/failure mode codes. As a result, the 13 failure modes occupy the colors red (prevent and mitigate), orange (mitigate) and yellow (prevent) in the risk treatment matrix.

Abstract

Single Point Mooring (SPM) is a system used to connect tankers with offshore installations to move oil or gas from ships to land. Therefore, SPM must be able to operate in good condition by carrying out routine maintenance. Surabaya Shipyard often receives requests for SPM repairs, but the risk level is often at a dangerous risk. This study aims to determine the right mitigation in overcoming the risk of SPM overhaul using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to get the highest risk (RPN) and the Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) method which is useful for determining the factors that cause damage to the system. Based on the results of the study, 5 top events were obtained which were the priority risks in the overhaul process. From the 5 top events, 14 basic events were obtained which were the root cause of the failure of the SPM overhaul and mitigation must be carried out immediately so that the risk can be overcome and does not cause losses to Surabaya Shipyard.

Abstract

Container depots serve as distribution centers connecting manufacturers to consumers viamaritime routes. To enhance service quality, this research aims to measure the service timesinvolved in the container reception and delivery processes at the depot. The analysis isconducted by collecting time data through direct observation and interviews with relevantstakeholders. One methods utilized is value stream mapping. focusing on identifying nonvalue added activities within the container transfer process. The study reveals significant leadand cycle times for various activities: during the receiving phase, the lead time recorded is2,514.43 seconds with a cycle time of 1,262.35 seconds, while the delivery phase shows alead time of 2,280.21 seconds and a cycle time of 1,301.89 seconds. Through VSM, theanalysis highlights inefficiencies in the container transfer process, emphasizing areas wherenon-value added activities contribute to delays and increased operational times. Bypinpointing these inefficiencies, the study aims to provide actionable insights to streamlineprocesses, reduce lead and cycle times, and enhance overall operational efficiency at thedepot.

Abstract

This research was conducted at a Logistic Company in Surabaya, where employee work demands were increasing but inversely proportional to the number of employees who are decreasing due to resignation. High work demands make most employees work overtime, which can affect employees' work-life balance. The company explained that it does not have an overtime system, so employees do not receive incentives as compensation for the extra contributions made. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work-life balance and compensation on employee job satisfaction. The study used multiple linear regression analysis. The data used with a sampling technique is saturated sample. The data were processed using SPSS 25 with the results of the t test showing the value of t count 2,519> 2,026 t table and a significance value of 0,016 < 0,05, so that work-life balance partially affects job satisfaction. The t value is 5,104> 2,026 t table and the significance value is 0.000 < 0.05, so compensation partially affects job satisfaction. The results of the f test show the value of f count 18,749 > 4,105 F table and a significance value of 0,000 <0,05, so it can be concluded that work-life balance and compensation simultaneously affect job satisfaction

Abstract

Railgun adalah sistem peluncur proyektil elektromagnetik yang menggunakan medan magnet dari arus listrik yang mengalir pada dua rel yang disusun paralel untuk mengakselerasikan proyektil dengan memanfaatkan prinsip Gaya Lorentz. Secara teori, Railgun memiliki kelebihan dimana kekuatan dari tembakan yang dilakukan tergantung pada besarnya arus yang mengalir pada rel akselerator tersebut. Oleh karena itu, Railgun menjadi salah satu teknologi yang diharapkan dapat menjadi sistem persenjataan masa depan. Akan tetapi, teknologi railgun pada saat ini masih dalam tahap prototipe. Sistem railgun yang telah dibuat memiliki beberapa kelemahan diantaranya besarnya arus yang dibutuhkan, overheat, serta ukuran yang besar. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan utama untuk melakukan miniaturisasi dari sistem railgun yang telah ada dan mendesain sistem railgun yang bersifat portabel serta mengatasi beberapa masalah yang ada pada sistem railgun yang ada saat ini seperti kebutuhan arus yang tinggi serta reliabilitas dari sistem yang ada untuk membuat railgun yang didesain ini bersifat praktikal. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan, secara teori, sistem railgun yang bersifat portabel dapat dibuat dengan menggunakan sistem 2-stage acceleration dimana menggunakan peluru konvensional untuk mengakselerasikan peluru pada tahap awal sebelum diakselerasikan oleh rel akselerator membantu memberikan peluru tersebut kecepatan awal sebelum akselerasi yand sangat membantu dalam mengurangi besarnya arus yang dibutuhkan. Selain itu, berdasarkan perhitungan yang telah dilakukan, terjadi peningkatan karakteristik dari peluru yang ditembakkan dalam aspek kecepatan, jarak serta energi kinetik yang dihasilkan.
