Abstract

Kondisi pandemi covid-19 harus memperhatikan 3 hal yaitu aman, iman dan imun. Satu cara tetap menjaga imun seseorang dengan latihan fisik. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pemahaman pentingnya aktivitas fisik saat pandemi dan melatih Senam Bugar Muhammadiyah. Metode pelaksanaan dengan pemaparan teori dan dilanjutkan praktik. Teori diberikan dengan cara klasikal terkait pentingnya aktivitas fisik dan gerakan-gerakan Senam Bugar Muhammadiyah. Setelah selesai teori, peserta mempraktikkan Senam Bugar Muhammadiyah dibimbing oleh pengabdi. Hasil dari pengabdian ini membuat peserta menjadi paham pentingnya aktivitas fisik dan tahu ada Senam Bugar Muhammadiyah serta mampu mempraktikannya. Kata Kunci: Covid-19, Senam, Bugar, Muhammadiyah

Abstract

Using Farmers (Banyuwangi ethnic community) in Kemiren Village uses their ancestral knowledge in utilizing natural resources and the environment so that its sustainability is maintained. This study aims to identify the local knowledge of Using farmers in Kemiren Village, Banyuwangi Indonesia which plays a role in preserving their natural resources and environment. The study uses a qualitative approach and the data collection using documentation, interview, and field observation techniques. Data analysis uses methods cross-referenced and repeated information. Local knowledge of Using farmers that used to manage the environment is in the form of values (togetherness, obedience, consensus, fairness and caring), norms (prohibitions/taboo and suggestions in utilizing natural resources), belief (providing labuhan/offerings and selamatan/ritual), and practices in utilizing natural resources. The primary key that plays a role in environmental preservation is a harmonious relationship among farmers.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gaya belajar peserta didik di kelas X9. Hal tersebut karena setiap peserta didik memiliki karakteristik yang berdeda-beda. Mereka memiliki keunikan masing-masing yang tidak dapat disamakan dengan peserta didik yang lain. Salah satu perbedaan karateritik peserta didik dapat dilihat dari gaya belajar yang dimilikinya, perbedaan pada gaya belajar tersebut dapat diakomodasi dengan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Jenis penelitian  ini deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X mipa 9 di SMA Negeri 1 Bangorejo. Dengan jumlah peserta didik 33 siswa yang terdiri dari 12 siswa laki-laki dan 21 siswa perempuan. Data yang di peroleh berdasarkan observasi dan pengisian  angket. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa peserta didik di kelas X MIPA 9 memiliki gaya belajar yang beragam. Gaya belajar visual dengan 55% dan gaya belajar kinestetik sebesar 45%.  Penting bagi seorang pendidik  mengetahui  gaya belajar peserta didik agar dapat menyusun pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi merupakan pembelajaran yang menfasilitasi kebutuhan balajar peserta didik sehingga peserta didik memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai materi.

Abstract

Learning resources are the most important component in improving the quality of student learning outcomes.  In the learning process, teachers rarely use magazines as a learning resource, so concepts are difficult for students to understand. Magazines are a learning resource that is used tofoster students' interest in lessons and help their understanding of complex and clear material. The purpose of this study is to develop  a valid biology learning magazine based on the exploration of medicinal plants of Kalibaru Kulon Village, Kalibaru District, Banyuwangi Regency. The method in this study is the development method (Research and Development) using the ADDIE model. The resulting product will be validated by validators to determine the level of validity of the magazine developed. The results of developing the magazine's learning resources meet the average criterion of 90% which states that the biology learning magazine meets the criteria of "Very Decent, Does Not Need to Be Revised".

Abstract

Penerapan model pebelajran Problem Based Learning dilakukan untuk  meningkatkan keaktifan berdiskusi dan hasil belajar peserta didik  kelas XI MIPA 2  SMAN Rogojampi.  Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Sumber data pada penelitian ini yaitu tes untuk  mengukur  hasil belajar kognitif yang dilakukan pada akhir pembelajaran disetiap siklusnya dan dihitung secara kuantitatif  untuk mengetahui persentase yang diperoleh berdasarkan nilai test akhir pembelajaran. Model Pembelajaran Problem Based  Learning dapat meningkatkan keaktifan berdiskusi dan hasil belajar siswa.  Dibuktikan dengan hasil belar dan keaktifan berdiskusi peserta didik  pengalami peningatan setiap siklusnya yakni yaitu siklus I 70.58% Siklus II 79.4I% dan Siklus  III 85.29%.

Abstract

Teaching materials are all forms of documents or sources of information that are used to support learning and help students understand the concepts of the material. Also, as time goes by, teaching materials are needed that are interesting and can also be integrated with technology. So it is necessary to analyze the needs of teachers and students to find out the teaching materials needed by teachers and students in the learning process. This research aims to analyze the needs of teachers and students regarding the development of biology teaching materials, especially ethnoscience-based biodiversity material in State High Schools. 2 Jember. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection was carried out using observation and interview methods, with research instruments in the form of teacher questionnaires. The data analysis used is by reducing the data from observations and interviews into more specific data to be presented descriptively. The research results show that teachers and students need teaching materials that are interesting and easily accessible. The development of ethnoscience-based e-modules is still rarely carried out by teachers, even though it can enrich biology learning with multimedia and local values, as well as expand the variety of teaching materials available. Therefore, it can be concluded that it is necessary to develop ethnoscience-based e-modules to explain concepts biology regarding coffee, especially the processing process with technological support, in order to improve learning and the relevance of coffee material at Jember High School.

Abstract

Research on educational games in learning contexts and advances in science and technology are becoming increasingly important. This research aims to analyze the use of educational games in the learning context in Indonesia, focusing on computer science and social science. The method used in this research is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), with inclusion criteria of publication period between 2018 and 2023, English language articles, article accessibility, and relevance to computer science and social sciences. The results of this research analysis include several important findings, namely: 1) the number of educational game document publications has fluctuated, 2) affiliation trends vary, 3) author trends also vary, and 4) the results of the systematic analysis show that educational games can improve student academic achievement, problem-solving abilities, creative thinking, and independent learning abilities. In addition, the role of teachers and parents is recognized as an important factor in supporting and maximizing the benefits of digital educational technology. The findings from this research emphasize the importance of designing learning that integrates educational game-based approaches to improve the quality of learning and achieve better learning outcomes for students. The implications of this research provide a basis for developing innovative and sustainable learning strategies in the fields of computer science and social sciences in Indonesia

Abstract

The implementation of the Independent Curriculum (IKM) at the basic education level is divided into three stages of learning outcomes, namely phase A, phase B, and phase C. The flow of learning objectives (ATP) is a new way as a "syllabus", namely for planning, setting learning and assessment in outline according to the characteristics and competencies developed by each subject at the end of each phase. This form of service is carried out in collaboration with SD Muhammadiyah Kaliwates (SD HAMKA), which is one of the educational business charities of Muhammadiyah which has only been established for 3 years in Jember. By using participatory assistance methods, implementation is carried out in 4 stages, namely needs mapping, pumped group discussions with experts, mentoring and evaluation. During the pumped group discussion, it was known that there were obstacles in the implementation of activities. First, the implementation of IKM in classes 1 and 2 only, while class 3 still uses K13. The 3rd grade teacher hasn't understood yet. Second, SD HAMKA has not appointed grade 4 teachers as partners for grade 3 teachers in formulating ATP in phase B. This makes it difficult for grade 3 teachers to develop ATP. The third obstacle, teachers experience limited time and means to complete ATP development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengelolaan sawah dan kearifan lokal Masyarakat Adat Using Kemiren dalam mengelola sawah serta menganalisis dampaknya terhadap kelestarian ekosistem sawah Desa Kemiren. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengeumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Pemilihan informan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling dan Snowball sampling. Analisa data dilakukan secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan sawah oleh masyarakat dilakukan secara runtut mulai dari tahap pembibitan hingga pemanenan, dan terintegrasi dengan kearifan lokal seperti tradisi Labuh Nyingkal, Labuh Tandur, dan Labuh Nggampung. Kearifan lokal lain yang diterapkan adalah penanaman sistem polikultur, penancapan pelepah kelapa (blarak), penggunaan pupuk kandang, pemanfaatan gulma untuk kebutuhan pangan, dan penanaman tumbuhan di pematang sawah. Pengelolaan sawah yang dilakukan Masyarakat Adat Using Kemiren tidak hanya mempertimbangkan aspek teknis pertanian, tetapi juga aspek kelestarian ekosistem. Pengelolaan sawah yang dilandasi oleh kearifan lokal tersebut terbukti berdampak terhadap keberlanjutan lingkungan dengan mengurangi kerusakan ekosistem sawah. Kesuburan tanah, terjaganya biodiversitas, pengurangan resiko pencemaran lingkungan (penggunaan pupuk kandang, pemanfaatan jerami dan gulma), dan perlindungan tanah dari erosi merupakan bukti dari kelestarian ekositem sawah Desa Kemiren. Oleh karena itu, pengelolaan sawah berbasis kearifan lokal Masyrakat Adat Using Kemiren memberikan dampak positif terhadap kelestarian ekosistem sawah. .

Abstract

Petanque is a relatively new sport in Jember Regency. It is very suitable to be developed in schools because it can be played on the ground, grass or sand measuring 3 x 12 m or 4 m x 15 m. Opportunities for achievement are wide open, both as coaches and athletes because they are relatively new in Jember Regency. In order to spread the petanque sport, training is needed as an introduction to this sport from France. Sports and Health Physical Education Teachers (PJOK) can be pioneers in developing Petanque in schools. PJOK teachers at the Muhammadiyah Senior High School/Vocational/Madrasah Aliyah (SMA/K/MA) in Jember have never known Petanque. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out a coaching clinic. The objectives of this service are, 1) Increasing basic technical knowledge and regulations for the Petanque sport 2) Increasing basic technical skills and training for the Petanque sport. The implementation method is divided into three stages, namely, preparation, implementation and monitoring and evaluation. The preparatory phase includes situation analysis, dialogue with partners, and cooperation agreements. Implementation of the coaching clinic program by presenting theoretical material in class, demonstrations and practice. Monitoring and evaluation is carried out after the training is carried out to find out whether the results of the training are implemented in each school. The dedication carried out by the team resulted in 1) increasing knowledge of the basic techniques of Petanque, 2) Forming a Whatsapp group for PJOK SMA/K Muhammadiyah teachers throughout Jember; 3) Proposal to issue a letter of recommendation by the Head of Elementary and Middle Education (Dikdasmen) Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership (PDM) Jember to school principals containing an appeal to organize the Petanque extracurricular at Muhammadiyah SMA/K/MA schools in Jember.
