Abstract

In general, research methodology is divided into quantitative and qualitative methods where quantitative is usually used in exact science studies such as engineering and business, while qualitative is for social humanities studies such as social politics. So that not all higher education students master these two methodologies. This training is specifically designed to provide an understanding of one of the popular research methods, namely the quantitative method related to the use of the SPSS application, especially for students in Pontianak City. Community Service (PPM) is carried out with the aim of being part of increasing the capacity of students in the city of Pontianak regarding understanding the application of SPSS statistics so that it can be better and beneficial for the smooth running of their studies. This activity was held in collaboration with Statistics Indonesia West Kalimantan on July 23 2022 which was attended by approximately 30 participants. Based on the results of the implementation of the PPM activities, it was concluded that with the training activities on the use of this Statistical Application, from the results of observations and observations, students began to open their minds to later try to use Quantitative data processing methods with this SPSS Statistical application. This picture can be seen from the enthusiasm of the participants in carrying out the activity.

Abstract

The background of this research is the lack of complaints on the application of the National Public Service Complaint Management System - People's Online Aspirations and Complaints Service (SP4N-Lapor) and the slow handling of complaints submitted by the public. This study aims to determine the implementation of the SP4N-Lapor program in Pontianak City. This type of research is qualitative. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the SP4N-Lapor program has been specifically measured using the Policy Implementation Theory. Based on the standard variables and policy objectives, the implementation of the program is in accordance with the aims. In addition, the variable resources of facilities and infrastructure are sufficient, but human resources are still not optimal. Variable characteristics of implementing agents have been right on target, variable attitudes or tendencies (disposition) of the implementers have carried out their duties well, variables of communication between organizations and activities of implementing communication have been carried out and established and variables of the economic, social and political environment have been running smoothly. To conclide, the overall implementation has been going well and found the inhibiting factor, namely the limited human resources that hinder the implementation of SP4N-LAPOR.

Abstract

Desa Temajuk merupakan sebuah desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Paloh, Kabupaten Sambas. Desa Temajuk belum memiliki sumber daya digital yang memudahkan wisatawan untuk mengakses penginapan yang tersedia. Bahkan transaksi penginapan masih dicatat secara konvensional oleh pelaku usaha penginapan di Desa Temajuk. Ketidaktersediaan sumber daya digital tersebut disinyalir berasal dari keterbatasan atau kurangnya literasi atas pentingnya sebuah governansi digital pada usaha penginapan. Beranjak dari permasalahan tersebut, tim pelaksana Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) Jurusan Administrasi Bisnis (AB) Politeknik Negeri Pontianak (Polnep) mengadakan kegiatan governansi digital usaha penginapan melalui pembagian aplikasi pencatatan transaksi penginapan berbasis mobile dan pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi tersebut. Aplikasi yang diberi nama HostNote memiliki fitur-fitur, yang diantaranya pencatatan data transaksi dan menyimpannya dalam Read Only Memory (ROM) smartphone, mengorganisir kamar dan ketersediaannya agar tidak tumpang tindih, dan merekap data transaksi yang dapat dievaluasi secara bulanan. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan PKM yang ditinjau berdasarkan luaran, pelaku usaha penginapan menunjukkan kemampuan adaptasi terhadap teknologi berupa kemahiran penggunaan aplikasi dan kesadaran akan manfaat governansi digital. Hal ini turut mengindikasikan pencapaian tujuan inti kegiatan PKM, yaitu peningkatan keterampilan dan pengetahuan pelaku usaha penginapan di Desa Temajuk selaku mitra kegiatan

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari oleh pentingnya pencatatan pernikahan bagi masyarakat di didepan hukum dalam ketertiban administrasi, transparansi, dan kepastian hukum memuat pada Peraturan Menteri Agama Nomor 20 Tahun 2019 Tentang Pencatatan Pernikahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa para pelaksana telah mengetahui ukuran dan tujuan kebijakan. Sumber daya para pelaksana yang selalu mencukupi dan memadai. Karakteristik agen pelaksana serta sikap kecenderungan para pelaksana dalam kebijakan ini selalu memberikan dukungan untuk memperlancar pelaksanaan kebijakan. Aspek komunikasi antar organisasi dan aktivitas pelaksana, para pelaksana yang sudah sangat menjaga komunikasi dan koordinasi antar instansi terkait. Aspek lingkungan ekonomi, sosial, dan politik yang turut mempengaruhi pelaksanaan kebijakan. Faktor penghambat dalam pelaksanan pencatatan pernikahan adalah (1) Sumber daya fasilitas terkait web SIMKAH terkadang error. (2) komunikasi dan koordinasi ke masyarakat masih minim dilakukan oleh pelaksana. (3) serta partisipasi yang masih rendah dan faktor lingkungan sosial, ekonomi masyarakat mendominasi dalam pelaksanaan kebijakan tersebut.

Abstract

Salah satu hak dasar dalam pemenuhan HAM adalah Hak atas Pendidikan. Setiap individu berhak atas akses pendidikan yang berkualitas dan kesempatan untuk mengembangkan potensi mereka. Pendidikan tidak terlepas dari kebutuhan Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM) dalam rangka ikut serta mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa dimana negara memberikan jaminan bagi Masyarakat untuk dapat memperoleh pendidikan. Fenomena yang terjadi saat ini masih banyak Masyarakat yang belum bisa merasakan Pendidikan pada jenjang perguruan tinggi. Pemerintah melalui usaha Program Indonesia Pintar mencoba memberikan bantuan untuk memenuhi hak masyarakat dalam hal memperoleh pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data tentang efektivitas program beasiswa yang diselenggarakan Politeknik Negeri Pontianak. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan bentuk penelitian deskriptif kualitatif karena bermaksud untuk memberi gambaran tentang mekanisme pelaksanaan pemberian beasiwa kepada mahasiswa melalui program Indonesia Pintar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara secara langsung dengan pegawai bidang kemahasiswaan dan penerima beasiswa di perguruan tinggi Politeknik Negeri Pontianak. Pemberian beasiswa melalui program Indonesia Pintar diberikan kepada Peserta didik yang berasal dari keluarga miskin/ rentan miskin serta memiliki prestasi akademik untuk dapat melanjutkan Pendidikan tinggi pada Politeknik Negeri Pontianak sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa program ini sudah berjalan dengan baik dan Politeknik Negeri Pontianak telah ikut serta dalam penyelenggaraan pemenuhan hak asasi manusia dibidang Pendidikan.

Abstract

The level of entrepreneurship in Indonesia remains low at approximately 3.47%, far below the 12% target required to achieve the status of a developed country. Since 2008, the government has encouraged higher education institutions to integrate entrepreneurship courses with the aim of producing competent young entrepreneurs. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of entrepreneurship education on the entrepreneurial interest of students at Politeknik Negeri Pontianak, specifically those who are recipients of the Entrepreneurship Grant and winners of the Entrepreneurship Program. The method used is a mixed method, combining a quantitative approach with regression analysis using SPSS and a qualitative approach through data reduction, data display, and verification techniques. The results show that entrepreneurial knowledge significantly influences entrepreneurial interest with a contribution of 42.4%, while the remaining influence comes from other factors. The drivers of entrepreneurial interest include passion, family support, youth entrepreneurship trends, and advances in digital technology. Conversely, the main inhibiting factors are limited time, limited production tools, and low team commitment. The conclusion emphasizes that entrepreneurship education plays a crucial role in fostering entrepreneurial interest, but the success of its implementation heavily depends on external environmental support.

Abstract

Rasau Jaya is part of Kubu Raya Regency, located close to the administrative center of West Kalimantan Province. Economic growth in Kubu Raya Regency is also supported by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), which serve as one of the key drivers of the local economy. One of the MSME groups with significant development potential is the group managed by the Badan Kontak Majelis Taklim (BKMT) of Kubu Raya Regency. Of the nine groups, four MSMEs previously obtained halal certification, but the certificates have expired. The remaining groups have not yet applied for certification due to limited access to information. As commonly understood, halal certification has become a necessity and can serve as a marketing strategy and product-branding development tool to support market expansion. The method used in this Community Service Program (PKM) involved conducting outreach and training sessions to provide information, enhance understanding, and explain the technical procedures for submitting halal certification applications. During the activities, participants demonstrated strong enthusiasm as they received more detailed and in-depth information about the concept and principles of halal, halal ingredients and production processes, identification of critical control points related to product halalness, understanding of halal regulations, and the processes and technical aspects involved in obtaining halal certification. Prior to the activity, participants were given a questionnaire to assess their general understanding of halal certification. After the outreach and training sessions were completed, they were given another questionnaire to measure changes in their understanding of halal and halal certification. The evaluation results indicate an improvement in participants’ comprehension and demonstrate the effectiveness of the PKM activity in achieving its objectives. This PKM activity is also expected to produce an academic article to be published in an ISSN-registered community service journal.
