Abstract

This study aims to determine the comparison of direct practicum with virtual laboratory practicum based on phet simulation on geometric optics material in terms of learning style, cognitive learning outcomes, and student science process skills. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Belalau, West Lampung Regency, with a population of all XI IPA class students, a sample of XI IPA 2 class of 26 students and XI IPA 3 class of 27 students taken by purposive sampling technique. This study used a research design, namely factorial design. Data analysis techniques used were N-Gain test, normality test, homogeneity test, and Two Way Anova test. The results showed that there was no significant difference after the application of hands on practicum and virtual laboratory based on PhET Simulation on optical geometry material in terms of learning style, cognitive aspect learning outcomes, and student science process skills. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that learning methods with hands on practicum and virtual practicum patterns are able to accommodate different learning styles of students and train learning outcomes of cognitive aspects and learning outcomes of science process skills aspects of students.

Abstract

The aim of my research is to determine science teachers' perceptions of the Link.id-based minimum competency assessment instrument to measure students' scientific literacy on solar system material. The research method used in this research is a mixed method with Sequential Explanatory Design. Data was first collected using a questionnaire and then analyzed using descriptive analysis. This questionnaire was distributed to 36 teachers and 124 junior high school students in Metro City. The research results show that teachers have a positive perception of the use of the Lynk-based Minimum Competency Assessment instrument to measure students' scientific literacy on solar system material. The results of the research show that 67% of teachers have not implemented active learning which leads to developing students' scientific literacy, and 33% of teachers have implemented active learning leading to scientific literacy but have not fully implemented the indicators of scientific literacy. Meanwhile, the level of success in an education does not only look at the learning process, just looking at the 21st century the biggest challenge to the development of competency assessment in Indonesia is no longer relying on individual assessments through the National Examination but see the assessment results continuously. Based on the research results, the level of scientific literacy assessment of students in solar system material is low, this is because students have difficulty applying indicators of scientific literacy. Based on the questions that have been studied, it is known that the questions in the cognitive aspect are still at C1 and C2 levels such as memorizing, explaining, and identifying. As well as based on the questionnaire given that 52% of the assessment is still traditional, namely by using a written formative test and not fully able to take advantage of technological developments. So there is a need for an innovative and effective assessment model so that it can provide measurable, valid and efficient results, one of which is using the Lynk.id platform. Based on the results, it can be concluded that science teacher’s perceptions of the Lynk-based minimum competency assessment instrument can measure aspects of student’ scientific literacy in solar system material.

Abstract

Abstract

This study investigates the need for developing electronic student worksheets (e-LKPD) for teaching dynamic electricity in junior high school science. Drawing on responses from 20 science teachers in Bandar Lampung, the research identifies key instructional challenges and teachers’ expectations for more effective digital learning tools. The findings reveal that conventional worksheets are often teacher-centered, lack interactivity, and do not adequately support the development of students’ critical and creative thinking. Teachers strongly advocate for e-LKPDs that are interactive, contextualized, visually engaging, and enriched with features such as simulations, videos, and inquiry-based tasks. They also emphasize the importance of aligning e-LKPDs with the national curriculum, students’ cognitive levels, and pedagogical strategies that promote student autonomy and collaboration. These insights point to the urgent need for e-LKPDs that are not only technologically enhanced but also pedagogically sound, capable of fostering higher-order thinking and real-world problem-solving. The study offers practical implications for instructional designers, curriculum developers, and educators seeking to improve the quality of science learning through contextual and student-centered digital resources.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with various types of uniqueness, ranging from ethnicity, religion, culture, and race. Indonesia is a place of diversity wrapped in great unity and integrity and full of meaning in real life. Of course, this diversity must be maintained properly and should not just fade away. Therefore, a greatly nationalist attitude is needed. The spirit of Nationalism is the more significant implication that the Indonesian nation must have in facing challenges, threats, obstacles, and disturbances both within and outside the country. The aim of this research was as a way or method to fight radicalism not only in Islamic boarding schools in Pesisir Barat Regency but in all Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia by developing activities in Islamic boarding schools that can internalize the values of Nationalism. Pondok Pesantren Pesiisr Barat Regency does not have a especially program of activities for internalizing the values of nationalism, but only through daily activities in the pesantren, in instilling the norms of nationalism. The form of these activities consists of intracurricular activities, namely; the Koran, and rihlah ilmiyah and extracurricular activities, namely; khitobah and hadroh.
