Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of guided inquiry student worksheet on learning outcomes and describe learning outcomes and science process skill after using guided inquiry student worksheet. This research method was true experiment, with a sample grade of VIII H as a control class and VIII J as an experimental class, determined by purposive sampling technique. The study design used pretest-postest control group design. The data had been tested by using N-gain analysis, normality test, homogeneity test, and independent t-test. The results showed a significant effect of the use of guided inquiry student worksheet to the results of student learning outcomes. The average learning outcomes in cognitive domain of 85.24 and the improved learning outcomes with N-gain 0.81.

Abstract

This study was aimed to determine the effect of the use of LCDS-based interactive electronic schoolbook (ESB) on atomic nuclei material with a scientific approach to Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) and scientific attitudes of students and to investigate the average HOTS value of students after both using interactive and non-interactive ESB. The research design was a Non-equivalent Control Group Design, involving students as the research subjects from one of the State High Schools in Kotabumi, with XII IPA 5 as an experimental class and XII IPA 4 as a control class. Data processing techniques were performed by T-test. The results of the HOTS pretest-posttest students in the experimental class revealed that the Sig. (2-Tailed) value was smaller than 0.05, which was equal to 0,000, indicating that there was an effect of the use of LCDS-based interactive ESB with a scientific approach to the material of the atomic nuclei on HOTS students. The test results of the differences in scientific attitudes of students between the two classes enclosed that the Sig. (2-Tailed) value of 0.001 was smaller than 0.05. This implied the great influence of the use of LCDS-based interactive ESB on the scientific attitude of students. HOTS results of students in both classes also obtained the Sig. (2-Tailed) value of 0,000, stating that there was a significant difference in the average N-gain HOTS value of students who learned with LCDS-based interactive ESB against the non-interactive model.

Abstract

Monotonous learning can make students bored, it is necessary to innovate by using instructional media and new models of learning that students are more interested in participating in learning. This study aimed to determine the effect of the use of interactive multimedia in teaching physics-based CORE against generic science skills of students. This research is an experimental study uses a one group pretest-posttest design with Paired Sample T-Test with the population ie all students of class XI MIA SMA Negeri 9 Bandar Lampung and the sample are students of class XI MIA 3, taken using cluster random sampling technique. The research instrument is the test sheet about generic science skills are made in the form of multiple choice objective test models to test student’s generic science skills covered in the material optics. Tests were performed twice, there are pretest and posttest. Based on the tests, the value of Sig 0, 05 and the average yield of N-Gain is 0.75 so it was included in the high category. It means that there is the effect of the use of interactive multimedia in physics learning-based CORE against generic science skills of students marked by an increase in average student pretest and posttest results.Pembelajaran yang monoton dapat membuat siswa bosan, maka perlu dilakukan inovasi menggunakan media pembelajaran dan model pembelajaran yang baru agar siswa lebih tertarik dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan multimedia interaktif dalam pembelajaran fisika berbasis CORE terhadap keterampilan generik sains siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan studi eksperimen yang menggunakan one group pretest posttest design. Populasi pada penelitian ini, yaitu seluruh siswa kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 9 Bandarlampung dan kelas XI MIA 3 sebagai sampelnya yang diambil menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan, yaitu lembar tes soal keterampilan generik sains yang dibuat dalam model pilihan ganda untuk menguji keterampilan generik sains siswa yang tercakup dalam materi optika. Tes dilakukan dua kali, yaitu pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh diuji menggunakan Paired Sample T-Test. Berdasarkan uji, diperoleh nilai Sig 0,05 dan hasil rata-rata N-Gain yaitu 0,75 sehingga termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan multimedia interaktif dalam pembelajaran fisika berbasis CORE terhadap keterampilan generik sains siswa yang ditandai dengan adanya peningkatan rata-rata hasil pretest dan posttest siswa.

The approach used was STEM-integrated flipped classroom . Data collection methods using a questionnaire were analyzed with descriptive analysis with the 15 professional and unprofessional teachers and 30 students in Lampung province as respondents . The results of teachers 'perceptions about e-modules amounted to 66.7% if presented as belonging to the required category, while the results of students' perceptions using e-modules amounted to 63.3% and  classified as needed. Practice was also needed in making e-modules with the results of 73.3% of teachers answering practical answers and 56.7% of students answering practical questions. It can be inferred that students need new teaching materials to support practical and easy to use learning t any time limit

Abstract

Natural Science is one of the subjects in Junior High School (SMP). Preliminary survey shows that many (65%) of students who have not finished learning science. The subject matter of science is not yet integrated. Teacher centered learning. Therefore, it is carried out an integrated science learning based on guided inquiry. The study aims to determine the effectiveness of integrated IPA learning based on guided inquiry to improve the competence of learners. This research uses quasi experiment method with pretest-posttest group control design. The subjects of the study were students of eight grades at SMP Negeri 24 Padang. Data were collected using observation sheets, learning outcome test, skill assessment sheets, and attitude questionnaires. The result of the research indicates that the learning of integrated science based on guided inquiry is effectively to improve the student’s competence, based on: (1) Mastery learning of has been achieved by most (87.5%) students on knowledge competence, 96.9% on skills and 100% on attitude competence. (2) The improvement of student’s competency on experiment class including high category on knowledge domain, (3) Average competence of experiment class is higher than control class. (4) The effect of the implementation of integrated science based on guided inquiry to the student’s competence including large categories. (5) Student response to the implementation of learning is very good category.

Abstract

Strategi pembelajaran berbasis STEM merupakan sistematika pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan prasarana pendukung digital mengakomodasi sains, teknologi, teknik dan matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan analisis kebutuhan strategi pembelajaran fisika di era digital untuk memfasilitasi keterampilan Abad 21 mengakomodasi perbedaan gaya belajar dan pengetahuan awal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode deskriptif. Adapun guru fisika, silabus dan materi pembelajaran fisika, serta siswa kelas XI sebagai objek penelitian. Instrumen pengumpulan data terdiri dari lembar pedoman wawancara, silabus fisika dan dokumen materi pembelajaran, dan lembar tes awal penalaran ilmiah dan performance berargumentasi. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh: 1). pengetahuan guru terkait strategi pembelajaran fisika berbasis STEM di era digital yang memfasilitasi keterampilan Abad 21 mengakomodasi perbedaan gaya belajar dan pengetahuan awal masih rendah, 2) materi pembelajaran fisika pada buku teks fisika dan LKS fisika siswa kelas XI belum mengakomodasi ragam gaya belajar dan pengetahuan awal dalam kategori cukup, 3) rata-rata pencapaian penalaran ilmiah dan performance berargumentasi siswa pada pembelajaran fisika siswa tergolong dalam kategori rendah

Abstract

This research aims to describe the relationship between student performance in physics learning based practicum on students' collaboration and communication skills of  senior high school students. This study is quasi-experiment research. This study also tested the validity and reliability of the assessment instruments, and for data tested by using correlation test. Abstract

This research aims to describe the effect of implementation of contextual learning module based on multiple representations on the topic of Static Fluid on students learning outcomes. This research was conducted in one of the High Schools in Bandarlampung using the non-equivalent control group design. The sample of this research was the students of grade XI High Schools in Bandarlampung that divided into two class (experiment and control class). The data were tested using N-gain analysis, normality test, homogeneity test, and Independent Sample t-test. The test results value of Independent Sample t-test Sig value. (2-Tailed) and the average value of N-gain, it shows that the average student learning outcomes using contextual learning module based on multiple representations more than student learning result using the conventional book. Therefore, contextual learning module based on multiple representations on the topic of Static Fluid can improve student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan modul pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis multiple representations pada materi Fluida Statis terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu SMA di Bandarlampung dengan menggunakan desain penelitian the non-equivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA di Bandarlampung yang dibagi menjadi 2 kelas (eksperimen dan kontrol). Data hasil penelitian diuji dengan analisis N-gain, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan Independent Sample t-test. Hasil uji nilai Independent Sample t-test nilai Sig. (2-Tailed) dan rata-rata nilai N-gain, menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan modul pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis multiple representations lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan buku konvensional. Abstract

The process of knowledge formation is currently applied in some learning communication media that is designed, observed and controlled on a regular basis. Therefore, learning integrates several aspects that support each student's ability to learn. These three aspects have been implemented by the government in the 2013 curriculum, in which students' ability will be assessed in the affective, cognitive and psychomotor fields, as well as appropriate instructional techniques. In following up the implementation of curriculum 2013, the authors conducted a study that aims to determine the comparison of student physics learning outcomes using expository methods assisted student books with inquiry method assisted student worksheet. This research was conducted at SMPN 1 Martapura OKU-Timur with Purposive Sampling, where the research sample class VII E as experiment class I using inquiry method assisted student worksheet and class VII D as experiment class II using expository method assisted by students book. Then, the data of the research results are statistically processed and obtain the average conclusion of the students' physics learning outcomes in the affective, psychomotor and cognitive spheres. From the average of learning result, the value of affective and cognitive domain is 2.37 and 9.73, and the psychomotor domain is 4.91.Proses pembentukan pengetahuan saat ini diterapkan dalam beberapa media komunikasi pembelajaran yang dirancang, diamati dan dikontrol secara teratur. Maka dari itu, pembelajaran mengintegrasikan beberapa aspek yang mendukung setiap kemampuan siswa dalam belajar. Ketiga aspek tersebut telah diterapkan oleh pemerintah dalam kurikulum 2013, dimana kemampuan siswa akan dinilai dalam ranah afektif, kognitif dan psikomotorik, serta teknik pembelajaran yang tepat. Dalam menindaklanjuti penerapan kurikulum 2013, penulis melakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar fisika siswa menggunakan metode ekspositori berbantuan buku siswa dengan metode inquiry berbantuan lembar kerja siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 1 Martapura OKU-Timur dengan Purposive Sampling, dimana sampel penelitian kelas VII E sebagai kelas eksperimen1 yang menggunakan metode inquiry berbantuan lembar kerja siswa dan kelas VII D sebagai kelas eksperimen 2 yang menggunakan metode ekspositori berbantuan buku siswa. Kemudian, data hasil penelitian diolah secara statistik dan memperoleh kesimpulan rata-rata hasil belajar fisika siswa dalam ranah afektif, psikomotorik dan kognitif. Dari rata-rata hasil belajar tersebut diperoleh nilai ranah afektif dan ranah kognitif sebesar 2,37 dan 9,73, serta untuk ranah psikomotorik sebesar 4,91.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, metode inquiry berbantuan lembar kerja siswa, metode ekspositori berbantuan buku siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of e-Learning with schoology to the study result on higher order thinking skills level. This method of this research is True Experimental Design, which is used Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. The data had been tested by using N-gain Analysis, Normality Test, Homogenity Test and Independent T-test. In this study research, there are experimental class 1 and experimental class 2, which are not chosen by randomly. In this research, both of experimental class have got treatment which is Blended Learning and Face to Face with the same intensity. The results of the test indicated Independent sample t-test by sig. 0.01 it means that there is the effect of the use of e-learning with schoology significantly to study result is also shew by the increased with N-gain of 0.619, that is the medium category.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan e-learning dengan schoology terhadap hasil belajar siswa level higher order thinking skill. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah True Experimental Design dengan jenis Pretest-posttest Control Group Design. Data diuji dengan analisis N-gain, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan Independent Sample T Test. Pada penelitian ini terdapat kelas eksperimen 1 dan kelas eksperimen 2, yang tidak dipilih secara random. Dalam penelitian ini pula, kedua kelas eksperimen mendapatkan treatment pembelajaran blended learning dan tatap muka dengan intensitas yang sama. Hasil penelitian yang ditunjukkan dari uji independent sample t test sebesar sig. 0,01 maka dapat dinyatakan terdapat pengaruh penggunaan e-learning dengan schoology yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar yang ditunjukkan dengan N-gain 0,619, yaitu pada kategori sedang.Kata kunci: E-learning, Hasil Belajar, Schoology
