Abstract

Contemporary view showed the position of communication to achieve educational organization purpose. Besides, communication has important role to create organization individual attitude. The importance of organization in education organization to minimize bad conflict. The result of this study showed that communication has taken preventive and represive steps to manage conflict in the organization. Communication also has important role to implemented conflict management activities in the organization. Communication also has informative, regulative, persiasive and integrative roles to manage conflict in organization.

Abstract

This study explores the development of teacher competencies at Dayah Babul Mustaqim Bireuen, with a focus on how these competencies contribute to improving the quality of education in the institution. The main objectives were to identify the strategies used in enhancing teacher skills and to evaluate their impact on the overall educational process. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, using semi-structured interviews with school leaders and teachers, focus group discussions with students, and classroom observations. The findings revealed that teacher competency development at Dayah Babul Mustaqim involves strategic planning, needs identification, and the implementation of training programs, which have significantly contributed to the improvement of teaching methods and learning outcomes. Teachers reported positive changes in their pedagogical approaches, including the adoption of more interactive and student-centered teaching strategies. The research also highlighted the role of professional development programs, such as peer mentoring and independent training, in boosting teacher confidence and effectiveness. The results underscore the importance of continuous teacher development in enhancing both personal teacher growth and overall educational quality. This study provides valuable insights into the role of teacher competency development in Islamic education settings, offering recommendations for other institutions facing similar challenges.

Abstract

Teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) bertujuan mempermudah penyelesaian suatu pekejaan. Pada lembaga pendidikan TIK berperan dalam meningkatkan kinerja layanan pendidikan. Efektivitas peran TIK di lembaga pendidikan ditentukan oleh bagaiman impelementasi dan fokus pengelola pada dampak penggunaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan peran, impementasi dan dampak penerapan TIK di lembaga pendidikan khususnya madrasah. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif menggunakan metode studi survei. Madrasah Aliyah Ulumuddin Muara Dua Kota Lhokseumawe dipilih menjadi tempat penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada penerapannya di Madrasah Aliyah Ulumuddin TIK berperan sebagai media layanan komunikasi internal maupun eksternal, media yang pendorong inovasi, media koordinasi kerja, media monitoring kinerja, media membangun iklim dan budaya organisasi, serta media layanan informasi/data. Pada implementasi TIK melalui tahapan: perencanaan akan kebutuhan teknologi, pemilihan teknologi yang tepat, pelatihan dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia serta melakukan evaluasi dan pemeliharaan sistem. TIK berdampak positif dalam peningkatan efisiensi proses layanan, membangun budaya kolaborasi, dan akses pemasaran jasa pendidikan yang lebih cepat dan luas. Sedangkan dampak negatif penggunaan TIK adalah resiko peretasan data madrasah, disorienasi informasi, ketergantungan teknologi dan kesenjangan kompetensi tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan.

Abstract

The increasing of State Islamic Universities (PTKIN) in Aceh is contradictory with the minimum interest of Acehnese to study at PTKIN. This phenomenon shows an anomaly in Acehnese religiosity level. This paper aimed to seek Higher Education (HE) marketing strategies in Aceh and to describe the reason for Acehnese low interest in PTKIN. A mixed method was used in this research; meanwhile, an explanatory sequential design was chosen to be the research design. This research was done in 3 PTKIN and 3 State Universities (PTU) in Aceh, where 60 Acehnese students were chosen as respondents. Besides quantitative data, qualitative research was done by interviewing, observing, and studying documentation to get more information. The result showed that the products (departments and accreditation) significantly affected students' interest in HE. This article suggested that PTKIN add more departments to present many choices for society as a place to study at a high education level.

Abstract

The principal's managerial competence is very important in formal education, because the principal's ability to form a work team in the organization has a very large influence on the quality and quantity of schools, as is the case with the principal of SMP Negeri 1 Simpang Keuramat in improving school organizational performance. As for the formulation of the problem in this study, namely: How the managerial competence of the principal can improve organizational performance at SMP Negeri 1 Simpang Keramat.? Based on the formulation of the problem, the objectives of this study are to determine the managerial competence of the principal that can improve organizational performance at SMP Negeri 1 Simpang Keramat. The research method uses qualitative research with a field research approach (Field Research). In this study, the research subjects were the principal and several members of the school organization. From the results of the study, it was found that the managerial competence of the principal in improving organizational performance through the determination of the vision, mission, and goals, then the existence of an organizational structure or pattern of cooperation by the abilities of organizational members as well as the division of labor and coordination from subordinates to superiors with smooth operation. good communication between fellow members and superiors as well as always making decisions and sustainability is carried out based on valid evidence and the agreement of existing organizational members with other school members, namely educators and education staff.

Abstract

Kiai communication is a unique pesantren treasure, full of characteristics and attractiveness. The communication treasures of kiai eventually become the tradition of the pesantren which is always interesting to be discussed. Regarding the tradition of kiai communication at Pesantren Annuqayah Guluk-Guluk, a qualitative approach was conducted by collecting data in the form of words holistically using interviews, observation, and document studies. The data were analyzed using the following steps: data condensation, data display, and drawing conclusions or verification. This research has succeeded in revealing the fact that the communication tradition of kiai is generally categorized into two parts: 1) outward communication (bil lisān and bil āl), and 2) inner communication. The communication of kiai at pesantren Annuqayah refers to the following principles; qaulan balīgan, qaulan maisran, qaulan ma'rfan, qaulan karīman, qaulan sadīdan, and qaulan layyinan.

Abstract

This study aims pesantren teachers' commitment from the perspective of local wisdom as a foundation for sustainable curriculum reinforcement. Using a qualitative descriptive survey. The study reveals that the curriculum at Pesantren Ar Raudlatul Hasanah integrates five key orientations: holistic development, skill enhancement, incorporation of local wisdom, character building, and field project engagement. These elements manifest in both the official and hidden curricula and are delivered through direct instruction. Teacher commitment in this pesantren is categorized into three types: affective commitment, reflecting emotional connection; normative commitment, showing pedagogical dedication; and continuance commitment, prioritizing the pesantren's well-being. These overlapping commitments contribute significantly to the effectiveness of the educational program. Moreover, strong relationships among teachers foster a supportive, participatory environment, enhanced by social support, a sense of belonging, professional development opportunities, and a mentorship system. This supportive community strengthens teachers' enthusiasm and dedication, suggesting that fostering collaborative group activities can sustainably reinforce curriculum quality and educational outcomes in pesantren institutions.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan anggaran yang dihadapi lembaga pendidikan Islam dalam mengembangkan kompetensi guru secara optimal di era digital. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana strategi manajemen sumber daya manusia berbasis digital dapat mendukung pengembangan kompetensi guru secara efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur terhadap delapan informan — termasuk kepala sekolah, wakil kepala bidang kurikulum, dan enam guru — serta observasi kelas dan analisis dokumentasi di SMP Terpadu Bustanul Arifin. Informan dipilih secara purposif berdasarkan keterlibatan langsung mereka dalam program pengembangan guru berbasis digital. Data dianalisis secara tematik melalui tahapan pengkodean, kategorisasi, dan interpretasi, didukung oleh triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa strategi MSDM berbasis digital — meliputi pembelajaran mandiri, pelatihan daring, dan pemanfaatan platform digital — dipersepsi membantu peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, sosial, dan kepribadian guru secara bertahap. Strategi ini juga berkontribusi dalam mengatasi keterbatasan pelatihan konvensional yang membutuhkan biaya besar. Namun, implementasinya masih dihadapkan pada kendala signifikan, termasuk keterbatasan infrastruktur digital, variasi literasi teknologi guru, dan resistensi terhadap perubahan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan model MSDM berbasis digital yang hemat biaya dan berkelanjutan dalam konteks lembaga pendidikan Islam. Kata Kunci: MSDM Digital; Kompetensi Guru; Pendidikan Islam; Keterbatasan Anggaran; Pengembangan Profesional Guru; Transformasi Digital Abstract This study examines how digital-based human resource management (HRM) strategies support teacher competence development in an Islamic educational institution facing budget constraints. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with eight informants — including the school principal, vice principal for curriculum, and six teachers — classroom observations, and document analysis at SMP Terpadu Bustanul Arifin. Participants were selected through purposive sampling based on their direct involvement in digital-based teacher development programs. The data were analyzed thematically through coding, categorization, and interpretation, supported by triangulation of sources and techniques. The findings indicate that digital-based HRM — implemented through self-directed learning, online professional development platforms, and selective use of digital tools — was perceived to facilitate improvements in teachers' pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies. These strategies helped the institution address budget limitations by reducing dependency on costly conventional training. However, the implementation remains constrained by limited digital infrastructure, uneven levels of digital literacy among teachers, and resistance to technological change.
