Abstract

Lack of development of instructional media reduces student interest in learning so that it affects student literacy in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to develop E-learning with schoology to improve literacy in geography learning in flora and fauna material. This type of research is development research. The data collection technique was carried out through three data collection methods, namely observation, questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative data analysis techniques. The results of this study are experts in the validation of E-learning product designs with schoology which consists of three components of the validator's most dominant assessment, namely the element of product quality with a value of one validator of 52%, and two components of the validator's assessment. 78%, and the results of product trials with a value of 0.42. %. So it can be concluded that E-learning with schoology is declared suitable for use in the learning process and is very easy to use based on literacy in geography learning.

Abstract

This study aimed to ascertain measures to enhance teachers' ability to teach online during the covid 19 pandemic. Action research is the research approach used in this type of research. The research was qualitative, describing the efforts to improve teachers' abilities to incorporate online learning into the teaching and learning process. This study was conducted at the MGMP for geography teachers at the senior high school and vocational high school level in Aceh Tamiang Regency. This study shows that teachers' competency in online learning is increasing, with the first cycle having a value of 0.45 per cent and the second cycle having a value of 0.80 per cent; hence, the two cycles predict growth in instructors using online learning in the future. Teachers can utilize a variety of technology-based online learning platforms, including Google Classroom, Edmodo, Quizizz, and Schoology.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the efforts made by teachers in preparing learning media in Aceh Tamiang State Senior High School 2 “Youth Vocational”. This research is a quantitative study that analyzes data using quantitative formulas. Data is taken from all teachers in the school and then mathematically analyzed which can be justified academically. The results of this study indicate that there is no influence of teacher creativity on media learning in State Senior High School 2 of Youth Vocational in Aceh Tamiang District. This can be seen from the reality that (1) With the selection of teaching media to help teachers to deliver subject matter and help students to better understand the lessons presented. (2) With the help of students to better understand the subject matter delivered, it will be more motivating student achievement. (3) From the calculation shows that the value of t (count) is 0.909 while the value of t (table) is 1.70 (for dk = n-2 = 4 and the significance level of 0.05) Keywords:     Teacher Creativity Efforts, Providing Learning Media, State SeniorHigh School 2 of Youth Vocational, Aceh Tamiang

Abstract

The problem of developing cities/cities in Indonesia is characterized by differences in phenomena, among others in terms of population growth, the structure of work, education, transportation, and the increase in the number of buildings. The problem of development in Langsa City is caused by development planning that prioritizes physical development rather than non-physical (social) development. Population growth requires the development of facilities and infrastructure and development. Population growth can be caused by natural population growth and migration flows. The method in this study uses descriptive analysis and uses multiple linear regression analysis. The population in this study is that all Langsa City youths who have age 17-30 years are 29,034 people, while the sample is 99.65 people and rounded up to 100 respondents. The research results show that dynamic variables, catalysts, motivators, and innovators have a significant positive effect on the development of the Langsa City area from the perspective of social geography, while the evaluator variables have a positive and insignificant effect on the development of the Langsa City region from a social geography perspective.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the family, community, and tertiary environment towards the formation of caring character in the geography education student environment. The output of this study was a four-indexed indexed education journal and a UNIMED google scolar. Samples from the study population were 20 respondents with 30 items about questionnaires. The time of the study starts from May 2018 to October 2018. The measurement scale in this study is the scale of the briquette. Data collection by means of library studies, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaire questionnaires and interviews. Based on the results of questionnaire data processing, the family environment has a very high frequency in the formation of character of the student's environmental care with an achievement level of a total score of 91%. Furthermore, the role of the campus environment also has a high frequency in the formation of the character of the student's environmental care with a total score of 89%. Whereas the family environment has a low frequency in the formation of character of student environmental care with a total score of 57%. It can be concluded that the family environment has the most role in forming the character of the student's environmental care.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is how the influence of intellectual ability on teacher performance in Senior High School 1 of Karang Baru, Aceh Tamiang Regency. How is the influence of discipline on teacher performance in Senior High School 1 of Karang Baru, Aceh Tamiang Regency. What is the influence of work motivation on teacher performance in Senior High School 1 of Karang Baru, Aceh Tamiang Regency. How is the influence of intellectual ability, discipline and work motivation on teacher performance in Senior High School 1 of Karang Baru, Aceh Tamiang Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of intellectual ability on teacher performance. To determine the effect of discipline on teacher performance. To determine the effect of work motivation on teacher performance. To determine the effect of intellectual ability, discipline and work motivation on teacher performance. The sample in this study amounted to 50 teachers. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study are intellectual ability, discipline and work motivation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance Senior High School 1 of Karang Baru, Aceh Tamiang Regency because the value of F count> Ftable is (53,510> 2,960). Partial intellectual ability has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance in Senior High School 1 of Karang Baru, Aceh Tamiang Regency because of the tcount> t table (2,918> 1,680). Partial discipline has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance Senior High School 1 of Karang Baru, Aceh Tamiang Regency because of tcount> ttable (8,991> 1,680). Partial work motivation has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance Senior High School 1 of Karang Baru, Aceh Tamiang Regency because of the tcount> ttable (2,918> 1,680). Intellectual ability, discipline and work motivation simultaneously influence the performance of teachers in Senior High School 1 of Karang Baru, Aceh Tamiang Regency at 76.30% and the remaining 32.70% influenced by other factors not examined.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information about the Punching and Kicking Coordination Capability of IPSI Pencak Silat Athletes in Langsa City after an exercise program was given to athletes to see the increase or even the opposite. The research will be carried out for 3 months starting from pre-test data collection, giving the training program to the next post-test data collection reporting in the Langsa GIPSI Building. In this study the population was IPSI-trained Pencak Silat Athletes in Langsa City. Sampling of respondents in this study was carried out by purposive sampling, namely the method of sampling the population with a population of 20 Pencak Silat athletes. The research method uses an experimental method. Data collection methods used in the preparation of this study are: giving treatment to athletes in the form of initial test activities, giving exercise programs and final tests. With these activities will be seen the difference from giving different activities or exercises in the two experimental groups. To determine the effect of Ankle Coordination Exercise on Punch and Kick Coordination Ability used the average difference test formula. So that it can be known that giving exercises can affect whether or not the ability to coordinate punches and kicks. The results obtained t-count value of 8.25 is greater than the t-table of 2.11911. This proves that the hypothesis that there is a significant influence between wall pass training on coordination of punches and kicks on IPSI Pencak Silat athletes in Langsa City can be accepted. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai Kemampuan Koordinasi Pukulan dan Tendangan Atlet Pencak Silat Binaan IPSI Kota Langsa setelah diberlakukan program latihan yang diberikan kepada atlet guna melihat langsung terjadinya peningkatan atau malah sebaliknya. Penelitian akan dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan mulai dari pengambilan data pre-tes, pemberian program latihan hingga pengambilan data post-tes selanjutnya pelaporan di Gedung GIPSI Kota Langsa. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi populasi adalah Atlet Pencak Silat Binaan IPSI Kota Langsa. Pengambilan sampel responden dalam penelitian ini dilakukan secara purposive sampling, yaitu cara pengambilan sampel populasi yang bertuan berjumlah 20 orang atlet pencak silat. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penyusunan penelitian ini adalah: memberikan perlakuan pada atlet berupa kegiatan tes awal, pemberian program latihan dan tes akhir. Dengan kegiatan tersebut akan terlihat perbedaan dari pemberian kegiatan atau latihan yang berbeda pada kedua kelompok eksperimen. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh Latihan Koordinasi Mata-Kaki Terhadap Kemampuan Koordinasi Pukulan dan tendangan digunakan rumus uji beda rata-rata. Sehingga dapat diketahui pemberian latihan dapat berpengaruh atau tidaknya terhadap kemampuan koordinasi pukulan dan tendangan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai t-hitung 8,25 yang lebih besar bila dibandingkan dengan t-tabel 2,11911. Hal ini membuktikan hipotesis bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara latihan wall pass terhadap koordinasi pukulan dan tendangan pada atlet Pencak Silat Binaan IPSI Kota Langsa” dapat diterima kebenarannya. Kata Kunci: Koordinasi mata kaki, kemampuan koordinasi pukulan dan tendangan, penelitian eksperimen.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini merupakan kegiatan melatih masyarakat membuat produk Bandeng Presto “Julok“ yang sehat, higienis serta layak dijual sebagai produk olahan ikan. Kontribusi mendasar yang diperoleh dengan adanya pelatihan ini adalah ikan bandeng akan mempunyai masa simpan yang lebih panjang dalam bentuk bandeng presto, menampung kelebihan produksi ikan dengan mengolahnya menjadi produk yang tahan lama, memberikan nilai tambah pada harga jual ikan, serta menyediakan sumber pendapatan yang berkelanjutan pada masyarakat. Mitra sasaran program adalah ibu-ibu rumah tangga yang tergabung dalam kelompok PKK. Berdasarkan penelusuran awal ibu-ibu tersebut belum mempunyai pengetahuan dan ketrampilan membuat produk olahan bandeng presto. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan meliputi sosialisasi dan dilanjutkan dengan praktek pembuatan produk bandeng presto. Luaran program PKM ini adalah Publikasi Ilmiah pada Jurnal Pengabdian IPB “Agrokreatif”, Publikasi pada media massa cetak “SERAMBI” dan Produk “Bandeng Presto Julok”.

Abstract

Historical subjects must be able to accommodate Student Centered Learning. Communication skills, especially communicating in public (public speaking) must be owned by the teacher to make a short historical story through learning technology media. The purpose of this research is how the teacher understands the various techniques of Public Speaking and the application of edmodo-based applications in historical learning. The method used is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. Starting from the stage describing, analyzing, and comparing. Collecting data through a Library (Content Analysis), and documentation. The findings of this study are to produce good public speaking capabilities, the teacher must find Strong Why in him, communicate in learning with the following stages: (1) amazing opening; (2) Content; and; (3) Powerful Closing. Meanwhile Edmodo can be applied in one class, one school, between schools in Satukota/Regency. Edmodo can be used for students, teachers other than Edmodo are used to communicate by using social media models, Learning Materia, supporting Team Teaching, Co-Teacher, and Teacher Collaboration models.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama kegiatan ini adalah banyak nya guru yang mengalami keterlambatan dalam mengurus kenaikan jabatan fungsional yang diakibatkan oleh rendahnya kemampuan guru dalam menulis dan mempublikasikan karya ilmiah. Keterlambatan guru ini berakibatkan kepada banyak nya guru yang menumpuk pada golongan tertentu. Hal ini apabila dibiarkan akan berdampak kepada kualitas keprofesionalan guru. Karya ilmiah merupakan salah satu persyaratan dalam proses kenaikan jabatan fungsional guru. Tujuan dari kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah melaitih guru dalam menulis karya ilmiah dan mempublikasikanya. Aktivitas pengabdian ini dilakukan di SMPN 10 Langsa dengan melibatkan 25 orang guru. Metode yang digunakan dalam melaksanakan kegiatan yakni (1) metode ceramah, terutama yang berhubungan tentang memahami paradigma mengenai karya tulis ilmiah, dan juga proses menyusun karya ilmiah, serta proses mempublikasi karya ilmiah kejurnal ilmiah, (2) metode selanjutnya adalah memberikan tugas, yang berhubungan dalam membuat karya tulis ilmiah serta didampingi sampai karya ilmiah terpublikasi dijurnal ilmiah. Hasil kegiatan ini yaitu dari sisi kebermanfaat, hasil kegiatan yang diperoleh termasuk kedalam kategori sangat bermanfaat. Hal ini telihat dari 95% guru menyatakan sangat bermanfaat dan 5% guru menyatakan bermanfaat. Dari segi kualitas karya ilmiah didapatkan skor 85,78. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa guru telah mampu menulis dan mempublikasikan karya ilmiah dengan baik. Implikasi kegiatan ini adalah dapat dijadikan sebagai sarana untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis dan mempublikasikan karya ilmiah guru
