Abstract

The Bridgestone company is a company engaged in the plantation sector, currently it has employees of 230 staff/employees, every employee is entitled to an official residence, This requires the company to conduct a decision analysis to determine the official residence for each employee who will apply for the official housing facility. to reduce the level of lack of transparency and accuracy of data that can cause turmoil and gaps for each employee. Then an analysis of the results of decision support for obtaining a company official residence was carried out using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (Ahp) and Technique For Order Preference By Similarity To Ideal Solution (Topsis). The final results of the AHP method trial evaluation result in accurate data where there are 5 employees who are truly in the very feasible category to get an official residence. Whereas in the AHP method there are differences in the results found, where it is found that the number of employees is 1 person who should be in the feasible category but belongs to the very feasible category, so that the number generated from the TOPSIS method is 6 people. With these 2 methods, it can produce an accuracy value of around 60% by entering all the specified criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize the use of a website as a tool for monitoring the network of Local Government Agencies (OPD) at the Department of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo) of Medan City using the triangulation method. The triangulation method involves the use of observation, interviews, and documentation to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the effectiveness of the website as a network monitoring tool. During the observation phase, the researcher conducted direct observations of user interactions with the monitoring website and understood the dynamics of its usage. Interviews with users and network administrators were conducted to gain direct insights into the strengths and challenges in using the website. Technical data and network performance reports were also obtained from existing documentation. The results of this study illustrate how the triangulation method can provide a deeper understanding of the effectiveness of the monitoring website. Observation revealed user interaction patterns with the website interface, interviews provided user perspectives on usability and desired improvements, and documentation provided technical context. The conclusion of this study is that the use of the triangulation method yields a more comprehensive understanding of issues and opportunities in optimizing the website for OPD network monitoring. It is expected that the results of this study will provide valuable guidance for the development and enhancement of more effective website features for monitoring OPD networks. This contributes to better and more responsive information technology infrastructure management in the local government setting.

Abstract

In an increasingly complex digital era, network security has become a crucial aspect in maintaining data integrity, confidentiality, and availability. Effective decision-making methods to select the right network security solution are becoming increasingly important. This article describes the application of the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method as a support tool in the context of decision-making for network security. In the presented case study, three network security solutions are evaluated based on four important criteria: data encryption level, threat detection, access management, and network performance. The SAW method is used to assign weights to each criterion and generate a ranking of solutions based on the final score. The results show that SAW provides a clear and structured view of the network security solution that best fits the user's needs and priorities. The conclusion of this research is that the SAW method can be used as a useful tool in making informed decisions in the context of network security. SAW allows organizations to adjust their priorities by setting the appropriate criteria weights, thus enabling the selection of solutions that are best suited to the unique needs of each organization. In an era of ever-evolving cyber threats, the ability to make effective decisions in the face of security challenges is becoming increasingly important, and the SAW method can be a valuable tool in achieving that goal.

Abstract

Buta aksara adalah sebutan yang digunakan untuk menjelaskan kemampuan membaca dan menulis yang belum cukup untuk digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari hari. Jika masyarakat masih banyak yang tidak bisa membaca dan menulis maka akan menjadi penghambat utama dalam mengakses informasi, pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang menunjang dalam kehidupan ekonominya serta tidak mampu beradaptasi dan berkompetisi untuk bisa meningkatkan tarap kehidupannya. Ekonomi yang rendah akan mempengaruhi banyak indicator dalam menunjang kehidupan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan data sekunder yang diambil dari data Badan Pusat Statistika. Data yang diambil dan dioalah dengan Analisis Regresi Linear Berganda meliputi angka buta aksara, tingkat pengangguran, Laju Pertumbuhan PDB Per Tenaga Kerja, Bayi Usia Kurang Dari 6 Bulan Yang Mendapatkan Asi Eksklusif, Indeks Pembangunan Manusia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui factor apa saja yang mempengaruhi Angka Buta Aksara. Variable Asi Eksklusif, Rumah Tangga yang Menguasai Telepon Seluler, Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variable angka buta aksara. Sedangkan variable Laju Pertumbuhan PDB dan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia tidak berpengaruh terhadap variable angka buta aksara.

Abstract

With the rapid development of digital technology, online lending services (pinjol) and online gambling (judol) have become more accessible. This raises significant concerns from the point of view of informatics, Islam, and Kemuhammadiyahan.  Using a descriptive quantitative method that combines informatics values, Islamic values, and Muhammadiyah socio-cultural principles, this study aims to analyze the influence of the two phenomena.  Data was collected through literature research and closed questionnaires distributed to one hundred respondents.  The results showed that the majority of people who participated in the study were of the opinion that pinjol and judol not only contradict Islamic principles but also support the use of sharia-based financial applications.  The research also emphasizes the importance of law enforcement and ethics when using technology. From an Islamic and Kemuhammadiyahan perspective, these two actions are considered haram and disrupt the harmony of society.  The solutions suggested by this research are improving education, improving technology ethics, and developing sharia-based financial services.

Abstract

Game Genshin Impact merupakan salah satu permainan daring yang sangat populer dan memiliki komunitas pemain yang aktif di berbagai platform media sosial. Seiring dengan berkembangnya komunitas tersebut, banyak opini, keluhan, dan harapan pemain yang diungkapkan secara terbuka, sehingga menjadi sumber data yang penting untuk dianalisis oleh pengembang game dan pihak terkait. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sentimen pemain terhadap game Genshin Impact guna mengetahui reaksi serta harapan mereka, menggunakan pendekatan Naïve Bayes Classifier sebagai metode klasifikasi teks. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari komentar-komentar pengguna di platform Twitter dan forum diskusi game. Tahapan penelitian meliputi pengumpulan data, pra-pemrosesan teks (tokenisasi, penghapusan stopword, dan stemming), ekstraksi fitur menggunakan TF-IDF, serta klasifikasi sentimen menjadi kategori positif, negatif, dan netral. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa metode Naïve Bayes mampu mengklasifikasikan sentimen dengan tingkat akurasi yang memadai. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan bahwa mayoritas pemain memiliki sentimen positif terhadap aspek visual dan alur cerita game, namun juga menyuarakan harapan akan perbaikan dalam sistem gacha dan balancing karakter. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan masukan strategis bagi pengembang dalam meningkatkan kualitas permainan dan pengalaman pengguna. Untuk mengatasi ketidakseimbangan data, digunakan metode SMOTE agar distribusi sentimen lebih merata. Model kemudian dievaluasi menggunakan metrik akurasi, precision, recall, dan f1-score. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa aspek Event memiliki performa terbaik dengan akurasi sebesar 88% dan f1-score sebesar 93%. Sedangkan aspek Game dan Karakter masing-masing memperoleh akurasi 78% dan 76%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa algoritma Naïve Bayes efektif digunakan dalam mengklasifikasikan sentimen komentar pengguna YouTube terhadap konten game. Visualisasi seperti wordcloud dan pie chart turut mendukung interpretasi terhadap distribusi sentimen dan kata kunci dominan dari tiap aspek.

Abstract

The selection of the optimal AC brand for PT Gemilang faces complex challenges as it involves the evaluation of various criteria such as quality, cost, energy efficiency, and after-sales service. This research aims to apply the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to determine the best AC brand based on these criteria. The AHP method is used to develop a comparison matrix, calculate the weights of criteria and alternatives, and check the consistency of the results. The analysis results show that Brand B has the highest final weight, making it the most optimal choice compared to the other alternatives. The implications of this study show that the AHP method can be effectively used for multi-criteria decision-making in product selection, providing data-driven recommendations and reducing subjective bias in the selection process. This research makes a significant contribution to a more structured decision-making practice at PT Gemilang.

Abstract

sensitive content in digital images. This research proposes a selective encryption model based on text area detection in digital images, integrating object detection using You Only Look Once version 3 (YOLOv3), Arnold's Cat Map transformation, and the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm. The model automatically identifies and selects areas containing text in the image using YOLOv3, applies Arnold's Cat Map for spatial disorganization, and then encrypts the transformed result with AES to ensure data security. System performance is evaluated through visual quality analysis using PSNR (Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio) and SSIM (Structural Similarity Index) parameters, as well as encryption and decryption processing time. The test results show that this approach can maintain the integrity of non-text areas while providing strong protection for sensitive text areas without compromising efficiency or overall visual quality. This model has the potential to be applied in the context of securing digital documents, visual identities, and other sensitive data in images.
