Abstract

Tempe is a typical Indonesian food made from fermented soybeans. Tempe is one of the foods that are often consumed by the people of Indonesia. Tempe is a processed protein that is easy to consume because its affordable price. There are many processed tempe menus such as tempe bacem, fried, baked or steamed. along with the time, the creations of processed tempe will be more diverse, one of which is making tempe-based nuggets. Processed nuggets will be increasingly enjoyed by children, because they are tasty and delicious and add protein in the body. This activity done to increase business opportunities in Desa Petangguhan with the majority of farmers, there a great opportunity to improve the economy of Desa Petangguhan. By making nuggets from tempe which taste good, have high nutrition and affordable prices. Training on making tempe nugget was carried out for women from Desa Petangguhan community to increase self-confidence in entrepreneurship. the capital used in making tempe is not too large. This activity is carried out to increase public knowledge about culinary businesses and can increase people's income.

Abstract

Mobilitas yang tinggi akan selalu terjadi di kota yang mengakibatkan terjadinya permasalahan lalu lintas. Permasalahan lalu lintas juga merupakan salah satu masalah yang hadapi oleh Negara berkembang saat ini, termasuk Negara Indonesia. Ada tiga komponen dalam lalu lintas yaitu manusia sebagai pengguna, kendaraan dan jalan yang saling berinteraksi dalam pergerakan kendaraan. Kendaraan yang digunakan oleh pengemudi mempunyai karakteristik yang berkaitan dengan kecepatan, pecepatan, perlambatan, dimensi dan volume dalam ruang lalu lintas. Oleh karena itu, peneliti ingin menganalisis ada tidak nya pengaruh antara volume kendaraan degan kecepatan kendaraan lalu lintas. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear degan memperhatikan nilai korelasi, model regresi, hasil hipotesis, koefisien determinasi, dan asumsi klasik (IIDN). Berdasarkan hasil analisis korelasi, ada hubungan andara volume kendaraan dengan keceparan kendaraan lalu lintas. Sedangkan untuk analisis regresi linear, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara volume kendaraan degan kecepatan kendaraan lalu lintas. Semakin tinggi volume kendaraan akan ssemakin rendah/lambat kecepatan kendaraam lalu lintas pada Jalan Karya.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize the use of a website as a tool for monitoring the network of Local Government Agencies (OPD) at the Department of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo) of Medan City using the triangulation method. The triangulation method involves the use of observation, interviews, and documentation to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the effectiveness of the website as a network monitoring tool. During the observation phase, the researcher conducted direct observations of user interactions with the monitoring website and understood the dynamics of its usage. Interviews with users and network administrators were conducted to gain direct insights into the strengths and challenges in using the website. Technical data and network performance reports were also obtained from existing documentation. The results of this study illustrate how the triangulation method can provide a deeper understanding of the effectiveness of the monitoring website. Observation revealed user interaction patterns with the website interface, interviews provided user perspectives on usability and desired improvements, and documentation provided technical context. The conclusion of this study is that the use of the triangulation method yields a more comprehensive understanding of issues and opportunities in optimizing the website for OPD network monitoring. It is expected that the results of this study will provide valuable guidance for the development and enhancement of more effective website features for monitoring OPD networks. This contributes to better and more responsive information technology infrastructure management in the local government setting.

Abstract

This research explores the training outcomes of the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm applied to Kanji character recognition. It employs a CNN architecture with 10 layers for recognizing digital image of Kanji characters from N5 to N1 levels. The training of the CNN model reveals varying accuracies, influenced by factors such as architecture, training data size, and data quality. The lowest accuracy, occurring at the beginning of training, highlights challenges like poor random weight initialization and suboptimal architecture. Conversely, the highest accuracy demonstrates the optimal predictive ability of the model after multiple training iterations. The iterative training process refines the model's accuracy over time, with initial challenges paving the way for a better understanding of the data for future improvements. In the subsequent analysis and system development phase, two algorithms are compared to assess the effectiveness of the CNN algorithm in Kanji character recognition. Testing is conducted at various complexity levels to systematically evaluate accuracy. This testing involves complexity levels at each Kanji character level to assess system accuracy. The developed model shows potential for real-time classification of Kanji characters, with a focus on error rate and accuracy during training and testing. The built model can essentially be used to evaluate the ability to recognize Kanji characters effectively. The model's performance can be assessed based on the error rate and accuracy achieved during the training and testing processes.

Abstract

Buta aksara adalah sebutan yang digunakan untuk menjelaskan kemampuan membaca dan menulis yang belum cukup untuk digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari hari. Jika masyarakat masih banyak yang tidak bisa membaca dan menulis maka akan menjadi penghambat utama dalam mengakses informasi, pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang menunjang dalam kehidupan ekonominya serta tidak mampu beradaptasi dan berkompetisi untuk bisa meningkatkan tarap kehidupannya. Ekonomi yang rendah akan mempengaruhi banyak indicator dalam menunjang kehidupan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan data sekunder yang diambil dari data Badan Pusat Statistika. Data yang diambil dan dioalah dengan Analisis Regresi Linear Berganda meliputi angka buta aksara, tingkat pengangguran, Laju Pertumbuhan PDB Per Tenaga Kerja, Bayi Usia Kurang Dari 6 Bulan Yang Mendapatkan Asi Eksklusif, Indeks Pembangunan Manusia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui factor apa saja yang mempengaruhi Angka Buta Aksara. Variable Asi Eksklusif, Rumah Tangga yang Menguasai Telepon Seluler, Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variable angka buta aksara. Sedangkan variable Laju Pertumbuhan PDB dan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia tidak berpengaruh terhadap variable angka buta aksara.

Abstract

Transportasi merupakan salah satu elemen penting dalam mendukung aktivitas logistik dan distribusi. Efisiensi dalam perencanaan rute transportasi dapat mengurangi biaya operasional, waktu tempuh, serta dampak lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model optimasi rute transportasi berbasis pemrograman linear yang mampu memberikan solusi optimal dalam penentuan rute. Model ini mempertimbangkan berbagai parameter, seperti jarak, waktu, kapasitas kendaraan, dan batasan operasional. Pendekatan pemrograman linear untuk menemukan solusi optimal terkait penentuan rute pengiriman yang efisien, dengan memperhatikan berbagai kendala seperti kapasitas kendaraan, permintaan pelanggan, dan waktu pengiriman. Model ini terdiri dari fungsi objektif yang meminimalkan total biaya transportasi, sementara kendala yang diterapkan meliputi batasan kapasitas kendaraan, pemenuhan permintaan pelanggan, dan batasan waktu perjalanan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model ini berhasil menghasilkan solusi yang optimal, dengan mengurangi biaya total pengiriman secara signifikan, sekaligus memenuhi semua persyaratan dan batasan yang ada. Model ini memberikan kontribusi dalam peningkatan efisiensi pengelolaan rute transportasi dan dapat diadaptasi untuk berbagai jenis sistem distribusi yang lebih kompleks

Abstract

Tuberculosis is a disease caused by infection with the mycobacterium tuberculosis complex. Tuberculosis attack organ besides the lung, such as the pleura, lining of the brain, lining of the heart, lymph gland, bones, joint, skin, intestines, kidney, urinary tract, and genital. This disease is found in densely populated settlements with poor sanitation, lack of ventilation and sunlight and lack of rest. Moreover, the factors that will be analyzed in this research are Population Density (X1), Number of HIV/AIDS (X2), number of toddlers who experience nutrition (X3), Number of toddlers who experience BCG immunization (X4), number of toddlers who get exclusive breastfeeding (X5), Total families with PHBS (X6), number of residents with healthy homes (X7), number of families with clean water facilities (X8), number of families with ownership of latrine sanitation (X9), number of families with have landfills (X10), number of families have management waste place (X11), number of elementary education facilities (X12), Number of junior school education facilities (X13), Number of senior school education facilities (X14), Number of institutions fostered by neighborhood health (X15), Number of Posyandu (X16), Number Life Expectancy (X17), Literacy Rate (X18), Human Development Index (X19), Number of Tuberculosis sufferers (X20). This research aims to analyze what variables influence each other on the prevalence rate of tuberculosis in the city of Surabaya. The method used in this research is a multivariate analysis using factor analysis, cluster analysis, biplot analysis and discriminant analysis. This discriminant analysis determines accuracy by calculating the value (1-APER). The resulting research the Number of HIV/AIDS, number of residents with healthy homes, and Number of families with ownership of Sanitation (latrine, landfills, waste management) have a high correlation with the spread of tuberculosis in Surabaya. Meanwhile, areas with a high rate of tuberculosis are Tambaksari, Wonokromo, Sawahan, and Semampir.  The classification analysis accuracy level was 90.32% and the accuracy of the resulting model or discriminant function was very high. So that discriminant analysis can be used for predicting the accuracy of tuberculosis prevalence rates.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the important role of weather parameters i.e. humidity, rainfall, temperature, and wind speed on the corrosion rate in the Medan City atmospheric environment. Three forms of material with low carbon steel type were prepared in this investigation. The exploration process was conducted for six months starting from June to December 2023, in the open area of the Engineering Faculty, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara. Corrosion rate assessment is carried out monthly using the weight loss method and climate parameter data is obtained from the Medan City Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG). The dimensions, initial preparation, data collection, post-test material preparation, and corrosion rate calculations refer to the ASTM G1 and G50 standards. Regression analysis and Pearson correlation explain the relationship between corrosion rate and climate parameters. The investigation showed that the corrosion rate fluctuated monthly from 0.1 to 0.5 mpy. By referring to corrosion resistance data on metal materials, it was found that the corrosion level was in the good resistance category "outstanding". Based on the regression analysis results, humidity, local temperature, and rainfall play an important role in the atmospheric corrosion rate in Medan City. The percentage of closeness between variables is ± 98% and the standard deviation is ± 0.0001. Further development is needed to determine other parameters that also play an important role in atmospheric corrosion rate and forming a random forest model for predicting future corrosion rates.

Abstract

Teknologi telah memengaruhi hampir semua aspek industri pariwisata maupun perekonomian. Para wisatawan akan merencanakan perjalanan merdeka dengan berinteraksi dan berbagi pengalaman di media social. Social media merupakan salah satu bagian dati teknologi. Teknologi ini juga memberikan peluang bagi destinasi pariwisata dan ekonomi untuk meningkatkan layanan mereka dan mempromosikan diri dengan lebih efektif baik dari segi parawisata maupun ekonomi. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan teknologi dalam konteks Desa Wisata Kedai Gadang dapat dilihat sebagai langkah cerdas untuk memenuhi ekspektasi wisatawan modern. Dalam upaya untuk melihat potensi serta peluang wisata di Desa Wisata Kedai Gadang, akan diberikan sentuhan teknologi dalam berbagai aspek. Salah satu contohnya adalah Pembagunan blogger sederhana terkait pengenalan Desa Wisata Kedai Gadang. Blogger ini telah dikembangkan untuk memberikan panduan serta informasi kepada wisatawan, memungkinkan mereka untuk mempelajari sebelum mengeksplorasi desa ini dengan lebih baik. Berdasarkan hasil implementasi yang telah dilakukan, masyarakat sangat menyambut baik tentang sentuhan digital terhadap usaha UMKM maupun tempat pawawisata.Â
