Abstract

Saat ini sistem arsip pada BPP Medan Krio masih menggunakan cara manual, yaitu dengan harus mendatangi tim arsip langsung ke lokasi dan memberikan berkas yang akan diarsip kepada tim arsip, hal ini menjadi kurang efisien karena memakan waktu dalam pengumpulan arsip dan beresiko arsip hilang. Sumber Daya Manusia yang ada di BPP Medan Krio bukan berasal dari profesional bidang pengembangan sistem, sehingga penggunaan teknologi belum optimal dilakukan dikarenakan keterbatasan dari kemampuan dan wawasan staff. Maka dari itu kami memberikan solusi berupa pembuatan dan pelatihan sistem arsip online sehingga berkas-berkas pengarsipan dapat dikumpulkan dari jauh (online) tanpa harus mendatangi tim arsip ke lokasi. Rencana kegiatan yang nanti akan tim lakukan yaitu dimulai dengan sosialisasi mengenai sistem yang akan ditawarkan kepada pihak mitra dan pengumpulan data yang diperlukan, lalu kemudian tim membuat aplikasi yang diusulkan kepada mitra bersama dengan modul penggunaan aplikasi dan simulasi penggunaan aplikasi oleh tim. Setelah aplikasi dan modul sudah rampung kemudian tim akan melakukan pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi kepada BPP medan krio yang diakhiri dengan evaluasi pelatihan serta penyusunan laporan akhir.Dengan harapan pelatihan tersebut dapat membantu para staff untuk meningkatkan pelayanan sistem pengarsipan yang ada di BPP medan Krio dengan cara online.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize the use of a website as a tool for monitoring the network of Local Government Agencies (OPD) at the Department of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo) of Medan City using the triangulation method. The triangulation method involves the use of observation, interviews, and documentation to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the effectiveness of the website as a network monitoring tool. During the observation phase, the researcher conducted direct observations of user interactions with the monitoring website and understood the dynamics of its usage. Interviews with users and network administrators were conducted to gain direct insights into the strengths and challenges in using the website. Technical data and network performance reports were also obtained from existing documentation. The results of this study illustrate how the triangulation method can provide a deeper understanding of the effectiveness of the monitoring website. Observation revealed user interaction patterns with the website interface, interviews provided user perspectives on usability and desired improvements, and documentation provided technical context. The conclusion of this study is that the use of the triangulation method yields a more comprehensive understanding of issues and opportunities in optimizing the website for OPD network monitoring. It is expected that the results of this study will provide valuable guidance for the development and enhancement of more effective website features for monitoring OPD networks. This contributes to better and more responsive information technology infrastructure management in the local government setting.

Abstract

Porang plants have long been utilized as a source of carbohydrates, fats, proteins, minerals, vitamins, and dietary fiber, which are exported as raw materials for various industries. In recent years, porang plants have become a highly profitable export commodity. One of the critical factors influencing porang plant production is fertilization. The timely, precise dosage, and correct method of fertilization determine the effectiveness of the fertilizer applied. MOORA considers various criteria in a balanced manner. Its ability to optimize the ratios between these criteria enables a more comprehensive selection of fertilizers. Profile Matching can be effective when specific criteria need to be emphasized over others. However, this method may not yield optimal decisions when several criteria carry significant weight. This research aims to determine the best type of fertilizer by applying a Decision Support System (DSS) and provides the benefit of assisting farmers in determining the most suitable fertilizer types for each phase of porang growth.In this study, a comparison was made between the MOORA and Profile Matching algorithms in the context of fertilizer selection for porang plants, using 7 fertilizer alternatives and 6 criteria types. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that both algorithms produce relatively similar outcomes, but the Profile Matching algorithm has a faster processing time compared to the MOORA algorithm in determining results. The contributions of this research include the development of a fertilizer selection system to help farmers optimize the growth and harvest of their crops. It also contributes to scientific literature and the comparison of algorithms, which can assist scientists and practitioners in selecting the most appropriate algorithms for similar problems in the future.

Abstract

Preparation of course schedules is the core activity of learning and learning. This is felt by study programs, where assignments are arranged through lecturer assignments, to class determination and class schedule dissolution, therefore the right application is needed to be able to arrange schedules automatically, then by using the k-means method you can arrange schedules correctly , in designing this application requires a prototyping application development method which gives good results where the clusters formed reach 17 clusters where the course schedule is made with the results of the Means Sequence Error in cycle 1 which is 65.66% with an accuracy of 54.06%. so that it is continued in cycle 2 the MSE value is 87.55% with an accuracy of 84.03%. The K-Means algorithm can accurately determine course schedules in the faculties of computer science and information technology.

Abstract

Online and offline buying and selling transactions require evaluation so that they can continue to grow. Products that have been sold have various categories, so the turnover of each product is different. This becomes the basis for evaluating future business strategies. However, turnover information for each product that is still processed manually will result in various risks such as inaccurate data, inaccurate calculation of category criteria, and inefficient time. The MAUT method is used in this research process because the calculation of the best-selling product category based on sales requires an appropriate and appropriate method. The criteria used in the calculation include price, sales, returns, and product evaluation. The results of the research on the MAUT method with 10 sample data on pillowcase products based on the color and pattern of the fabric that match the criteria can help calculate the highest turnover and produce alternative best-selling products. The product alternative with the highest final utility value, namely 0.308, is categorized as the best-selling product and has the highest sales turnover within 1 year. The calculation system is capable of processing the maximum amount of product data efficiently and quickly, so there are no obstacles such as manual calculations

Abstract

Data and information in the development of digital technology have an important role. Every activity or activity that uses digital technology is related to data and information, so information security and data confidentiality are very important. To maintain information security and data confidentiality, protection with cryptographic techniques is needed. Cryptographic techniques are related to encryption, which is where the process of scrambling data is carried out and hiding data with a key system, while decryption is the process of changing the condition of the data to its original form so that it is easy to understand. There are obstacles and problems ini digital communication, so cryptographic techniques are needed that have higher level of security and can be applied in digital communications. To determine the level of security in cryptographic techniques required frequency anlysis. Frequency analysis on the NGG and GGHN algorithms is carried out to determine the level of information security based on the results of data encryption. BAse on the testing process on the NGG and GGHN algorithms, it will be known that the frequency of characters in the text varies. The more characters used in the key will affect the level of information security. The NGG algorithm has a higher level of security than the GGHN algorithm with a precentage difference of 0.000299967%. If the frequency of occurrence of characters in the message text that has been encrypted is more frequent or higher, then the level of information security in the message is lower and the password is easier to crack.

Abstract

The escalating need for robust data security has propelled cyber security practitioners into a perpetual quest for innovative solutions. This endeavor involves the strategic amalgamation of cryptographic algorithms with meticulously customized alterations to specific algorithmic processes. In this pursuit of heightened data protection, the Arnold Cat Map emerges as a pivotal tool, a mathematical transformation that gracefully elucidates the intricate movement of points within a two-dimensional plane. This movement occurs in a systematic and repetitive manner, rendering it an indispensable asset in the domains of cryptography and image scrambling. The Arnold Cat Map operates by meticulously relocating each point within the two-dimensional plane to a fresh coordinate, all the while adhering to an intricately structured pattern. The result is a formidable "mixing" effect that enhances data security. When applied theoretically to widely employed encryption methods like Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) for symmetric encryption and the Rivest-Shamir-Adleman (RSA) algorithm for asymmetric encryption, the Arnold Cat Map exhibits the potential to significantly augment the randomness of the encrypted output. This augmentation of randomness, in turn, fortifies the security of digital assets and communications, making them more resilient against adversarial attacks. By introducing this innovative concept into the realm of cryptography, cyber security practitioners endeavor to fortify data security, offering a higher degree of confidence in the protection of sensitive information and digital assets against a backdrop of ever-evolving cyber threats.

Abstract

One of the trading activities that has become increasingly popular recently is online buying and selling transactions. The development of the digital world indirectly influences the growth of online buying and selling transactions or e-commerce. This rapid growth has led to a variety of service and product offerings from various e-commerce platforms, often leaving users confused about choosing the platform that best fits their needs and availability. Users frequently face complex questions such as which platform offers the best service quality, which platform provides the most optimal transaction security, and which platform is the most reliable for transactions. Therefore, an evaluation is needed to help users assess which platform best meets their needs. This study utilizes the TOPSIS method, as this method is considered to have a simple concept in producing alternative decisions in an accurate mathematical form. The results of this study, using 5 criteria and 8 alternative e-commerce platforms, indicate that Shopee (A1) is the best alternative with a score of 0.9564.

Abstract

Abstrak - Dalam era digital, mahasiswa Program Studi Teknologi Informasi di Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) menghadapi berbagai pilihan topik skripsi. Kesulitan dalam menentukan judul skripsi yang sesuai dengan minat, kemampuan, dan potensi riset sering menjadi tantangan. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem pendukung keputusan berbasis metode Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) dan Profil Matching untuk membantu mahasiswa dalam menentukan judul skripsi. FAHP digunakan untuk menangani ketidakpastian dalam menilai kepentingan kriteria, sementara Profil Matching mencocokkan profil mahasiswa dengan judul skripsi yang tersedia. Sistem ini dibangun menggunakan framework Laravel 11 dan diuji dalam konteks Program Studi Teknologi Informasi UMSU. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei dan penilaian dari dosen dan mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini efektif dalam memberikan rekomendasi judul skripsi yang sesuai dengan profil mahasiswa, serta mampu mengatasi ketidakpastian dalam penilaian. Dengan demikian, sistem ini memberikan solusi praktis yang dapat diadopsi oleh program studi lain di bidang teknologi informasi.Kata kunci: Sistem Pendukung Keputusan, Metode Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process, Metode Profil Matching, Penentuan Judul Skripsi  Abstract - In the digital era, students of the Information Technology Study Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) face various thesis topic options. The challenge of selecting a thesis title that aligns with their interests, abilities, and research potential is common. This research develops a decision support system based on the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) and Profile Matching methods to assist students in selecting a thesis title. FAHP addresses the uncertainty in assessing the importance of criteria, while Profile Matching aligns student profiles with available thesis titles. The system was built using the Laravel 11 framework and tested within the context of UMSU’s Information Technology Study Program. Data were collected through surveys and assessments from lecturers and students. The research results show that the system effectively provides thesis title recommendations that match the students' profiles and can overcome uncertainties in evaluation. Thus, this system offers a practical solution that can be adopted by other study programs in the field of information technology.Keywords: Decision Support System, Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process Method, Profile Matching Method, Determining Thesis Title

Abstract

Gambar diartikan suatu alat untuk berhubungan dalam menginformasikan pesan tertentu pada pembuat gambar, maka dari itu gambar dapat digunakan Sebagai bahasa dalam ilmu teknik. Sebuah gambar dapat disalin Sebagai banyak ketika sebuah file gambar masih ada. Akan tetapi ketika file gambar tidak ada misalnya ijazah maka harus melakukan foto ulang ataupun melakukan scan pada gambar yang masih ada dalam bentuk fisik. Masalah yang terjadi adalah gambar yang dibuat melalui foto ulang ataupun scan hasilnya tidak terlalu mirip. Itu lah sebabnya dibutuhkan sebuah cara yang dapat menguji kemiripan gambar maka dari itu mengetahui seberapa mirip gambar yang telah dibuat ulang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Cosine Similarity untuk deteksi gambar hasil scan dan hasil pengujian pada gambar mobil hasil scan menghasilkan nilai kemiripan sebesar 67%.
