<![CDATA[Vocabulary is one of important aspect in learning English. For second language students, it is a new challenge to master it. Since, they have vocabulary of their own native language. They have to compare it and replace something new to their understanding. Some vocabularies are similar and some vocabularies are completely different. Therefore, an attractive medium is needed to make students interest to master vocabulary. English British Council Site is applied on this experiment. This research is quantitative pre- experimental research with one group pre-test post-test design. It is aimed to measure the effectiveness of using the English British Council site toward the students mastering vocabulary. Forty students are involved on this experiment. The result shows significant different of pre-test and post-test. It indicates the using of British Council Site is effective to be used for students’ second language to master the vocabulary.]]>

<![CDATA[Listening is one receptive skill which represents students’ ability in understanding a language. Nowadays, media have certain rule to influence this listening skill; e- radio (ABC Newsradio Australia) becomes one effective medium to increase students’ listening skill. This article aims to investigate the effect of e-radio on listening achievement of third semester students of English department at Islamic University of Malang. Pre-experimental research is used as the research design with the pre-test and post-test as the main instrument. The result of T-test showed that there is significant effect of the using e-radio on students’ listening achievement.]]>

<![CDATA[Writing is one of the basic skills of the English language. It is usually considered one of the most difficulty skill than other skills of foreign language students. Even native speakers feel difficulty in showing good command of writing. In writing, the students need to acquire those first ideas to make sure what they want to write. They have to write about what they think in their mind and state it on paper by using the correct rules. In this research researcher use problem based learning method in teaching writing. The objective of this research to investigate the influence of problem based learning on the studnts’ writing skill in hortatory exposition text at eleventh grade of SMA Saidiyah Arosbaya. In conducting data, the researcher used quasi- experimental design. The population of this research was eleventh grade of SMA Saidiyah Arosbaya and sample were XI IPS 1 as experimental class and XI IPS 2 as control class. The result of this research based on the analysis data of Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) test from SPSS 17.0, the result of ANCOVA test from p-value was 0.035. It was less than the level of significant (0,05). If p-value<from the level of significant (0,05). It showed that the alternative hypothesis (Ha)was accepted and null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected.]]>

<![CDATA[This study investigated the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) prompting with peer feedback in the development of paragraph-writing skills in an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) context. Carried out over a semester at a private university in Indonesia, the research involved 37 undergraduate learners. In most cases, learners responded to feedback without AI help and used AI without intervention. Interestingly, nine participants completed all the necessary tasks involving integrating AI with peer feedback in an EFL writing paragraph. Learners used AI to compare their own feedback and subsequently engaged in peer discussion before finalising the draft. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with thematic analysis, data were gathered through observations and questionnaires. The findings indicate that learners developed self-confidence in expressing their ideas through writing and became more self-reliant after completing paragraphs. The process also fostered natural collaboration, although communication among learners remained limited. Learners were able to construct meaningful sentences using simple vocabulary. Additionally, the integration of AI-generated results, enhanced by personalised feedback, supported learning, fostered harmony among learners, and developed reflective skills.]]>

<![CDATA[Anxiety is a major concern in the learning of speaking by EFL learners in an instructed language instruction situation. Speaking anxiety, despite being extensively studied, has yet to be fully understood. Keeping this in mind, this study explores the reasons of anxiety among foreign language learners, with special reference to "speaking" as a skill. Speaking is one of the abilities that appear to represent the students are able to speak English. Unfortunately, the majority of Indonesian students, particularly those at the university level, lack the necessary skills to communicate effectively in English. Students in the 4.0 era are expected to have strong communication skills and the capacity to interact with their peers. Speaking also demands practice and a strong psychological pleasure that must be pleasant. A related study that enhances the efficacy of speaking in language teaching and learning is critical. This descriptive study discusses the significance of good communication in English as a foreign language. The purpose of this study is to look into the speaking anxiety of MTs Roudlotut Tholibin eighth grade students. The specific goal of this study is to look into the variables that affect students' speaking anxiety as well as methods for reducing it based on the students' personal experiences. There were five students were chosen to participate. The researcher interviewed students who experience anxiety when speaking English, using a descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Two factors were revealed by the results. They are internal and external factors. English teachers need to comprehend the personalities of each of their students in the classroom, as each student's anxiety level can differ from one another.]]>

<![CDATA[This study investigates the impact of using word search puzzle games as a learning medium on the vocabulary mastery of sixth-grade students at SDN Lantek Timur 2. The research employed a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-test and post-test model. The results revealed a significant improvement in students’ vocabulary, as evidenced by an increase in the mean score from 54.00 in the pre-test to 82.00 in the post-test. The paired sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000, indicating a statistically significant difference. Therefore, the word search puzzle game proves to be an effective and engaging tool for enhancing vocabulary skills among elementary school students.]]>

<![CDATA[To improve the quality of education, a well-planned learning system is needed, including extracurricular activities such as English clubs, which help students increase their knowledge and language skills outside of class hours. The research focused on third-grade students at SDN Mimbaan IV Situbondo who had difficulty understanding procedural texts due to their limited vocabulary. Getting the solution above, the researcher introduced program English club activity, so appear the statement like: Is there any significant effect of English club activities to understand the reading of procedural texts at third grades students of SDN Mimbaan IV? To answer these questions the researcher used quantitative in pre- experimental that consisted of 15 students in one classroom. From the analyses data, the results of the One-Sample t-Test showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000, less the an 0.05. The post-test mean was 91.60, with a mean difference of 16.600 compared to the reference value of 75. Because Sig. <0.05, H₁ is accepted and H₀ is rejected so there is a significant effect of English club activity to understand the reading of procedure texts at the Third Grades Students of SDN Mimbaan IV. So, the conclusion that English club activity has a significant effect to understand in reading of procedure texts at the Third Grades Student of SDN Mimbaan IV Situbondo.]]>

<![CDATA[Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilah bahasa khusunya bahasa Inggris disemua jenjang pendidikan mulai tingkat dasar sampai sekolah lanjutan tingkat atas denganaplikasi Wordwall. Aplikasi tersebut sederhana dan mudah digunakan dalam pembelajaranbahasa. Pelatihan ini menggunakan metode praktik langsung dengan berbasis penelitianterdahulu. Peserta pelatihan ini terdiri dari 22 guru bahasa, mayoritas Adalah guru bahasaInggris. Lokasi pelatihan ini di lembaga pendidiakan swasta di Bangkalan. Hasil pelatihan ini,menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan permainan edukatif melalui aplikasi Wordwall dapatmengikatkan pembelajaran lebih efektif, bermakna dan berkelanjutan. Juga, dapatmeningkatkan keterampilan menulis bagi peserta pelatihan. Keterampilan tersebut tampakdalam pembuatan gagasan atau ide, pengembangan kalimat dan strukturnya dengan baik.]]>
