Abstract

Higher education has been accused as an environment which has less moral and religious values. The negative stereotype became more evident when some higher education institutions involved in some disputes such as brawl among students, and riots in Ramadhan and at the time of sahur. There is also State Islamic Higher Education Institution (PTKIN) among the campuses. However, some SIHEIs have constructed religious culture through Integrative Religious Practices (IRP). The paper aims at evaluating the IRP as a strategy in building campus religious culture. Interview, participant observation, and data analysis lead to the finding that IRP development was formally done in class and was informally and ceremonially applied outside the class through ma’had, students’ organizations, cooperation with religious institutions, and relation across region and professions can build campus religious culture. Moreover, it also improves students’ ethical behavior, empathy, and tolerant. The study suggests that religious subject in higher education and schools is developed using IRP and involves relevant units and religious organizations outside campus to improve the understanding on the socio-religious value to establish ethical, tolerant, empathy, and cooperative behavior. Perguruan Tinggi telah dituduh sebagai lingkungan yang kurang mencerminkan nilai-nilai moral dan religius. Stereotip buruk ini makin diperkuat dengan keterlibatan PT dalam beberapa kericuhan seperti tawuran mahasiswa serta tawuran di bulan Ramadhan dan di waktu sahur. Di antara perguruan tinggi tersebut terdapat Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri (PTKIN). Namun ada juga PTKIN yang telah membangun budaya religius melalui Praktik Keagamaan Integratif (PKI). Tulisan ini mengevaluasi PKI sebagai strategi dalam membangun budaya religius di kampus. Wawancara, observasi partisipan, dan analisis data yang dilakukan menghasilkan temuan bahwa pengembangan PKI yang dilakukan secara formal di kelas dan diaplikasikan nonformal dan seremonial di luar kelas melalui ma’had, organisasi kemahasiswaan, kerjasama dengan lembaga keagamaan, dan pergaulan lintas daerah dan profesi dapat membangun budaya religius di kampus. Selain itu, hal itu juga dapat menumbuhkan sikap etis, empati, dan toleran di kalangan mahasiswa. Tulisan ini menyarankan agar materi keagamaan di PT dan sekolah dikembangkan dengan praktik keagamaan integratif dan melibatkan berbagai unit terkait dan organisasi keagamaan di luar kampus untuk meningkatkan pemahaman nilai-nilai sosial-keagamaan sehingga menumbuhkan perilaku agamis, toleran, empati, dan sikap saling menghargai.

Abstract

The rapid development of the science of fiqh certainly has a correlation with the understanding of the propositions sourced in the Qur'an and Hadith. For instance, there is a legal proposition that when faced with certain problems will find a solution, but not a few laws that come from the Qur'an in the same context cause different arguments in understanding them. The contradiction here is ta'arudh arguments that contradict each other. So in the process of this research using a qualitative approach by prioritizing normative juridical aspects, there is no perspective misalignment. This paper examines the process of solving the problems of Islamic law specifically, considering the development of Islamic law is always dynamic by the conditions of the times. In addition, in understanding the law, of course, it must be correct and by the legal provisions of the arguments, as well as other arguments that have intersecting pros and cons, then in the process of settling Islamic law in this paper, it focuses on solving the problems of Islamic law.

Abstract

In this digital era, technological developments are developing very rapidly. People find it very easy to get the things they like, so negative and positive effects appear. Seeing these developments can have negative impacts that are no less than positive ones. The generation that is vulnerable to negative influences is youth and results in moral degradation. This very rapid technological development can trigger loopholes to do things that harm other people and things that are criminal. This moral degradation is very difficult if you only rely on certain theories. In Islam there are teachings of aqidah morals which are expected to be able to provide solutions to the problem of moral degradation. This strategy can be in the form of an understanding of adolescents about moral beliefs and guidance in solving self-problems.

Abstract

Education is the process of acquiring knowledge from educators by students. Its purpose is to enhance knowledge and shape good behavior and character. Teachers act as facilitators, while students are the main participants in the teaching and learning activities. The curriculum plays a crucial role in achieving educational goals. The "curriculum Merdeka" (independent curriculum), currently implemented in some schools in Indonesia, aims to cultivate noble character in students. Good character holds great importance in Islam, and education is the primary sector in building one's character. This research employs a descriptive research method to find solutions to problems. The strategies employed in teaching and learning activities within the independent curriculum will help shape students into exemplary Muslims, serving as role models for other Muslims.Pendidikan adalah proses mendapatkan ilmu pengetahuan dari pendidik oleh peserta didik. Tujuannya adalah menambah pengetahuan dan membentuk perilaku serta akhlak yang baik. Guru berperan sebagai fasilitator, sedangkan murid menjadi objek utama dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Kurikulum memiliki peran penting dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Kurikulum merdeka, yang saat ini diterapkan di sebagian sekolah di Indonesia, bertujuan menumbuhkan akhlakul karimah pada siswa. Akhlak dalam Islam sangat penting, dan pendidikan menjadi sektor utama dalam membangun akhlak seseorang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif untuk mencari solusi dari masalah. Strategi dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar pada kurikulum merdeka akan membantu membentuk siswa menjadi pribadi muslim yang baik dan menjadi teladan bagi umat Muslim lainnya.

Abstract

Community empowerment is an activity to increase community participation in meeting the necessities of life and solving problems experienced by the community. In this case the activity was carried out through the Student Work Lecture program (KKM) which is a community service-based activity to increase student empathy for the condition of society and its environment. Group 125 KKM is a group assigned to Karang Anyar Village, Poncokusumo District, Malang Regency. The method used in this service is the PAR participatory action research method, which aims to find out or describe the reality that occurs in society so that the data obtained is truly objective. The criteria determined as subjects of service are those who are involved in the activities carried out and know and understand information related to service. Based on this, the subjects in this service were selected using the following criteria: community activity programs, including worship, education, and the economy, with the results obtained, namely the development and resolution of problems faced by society, including religion, education, and the economy. This KKM not only benefits the community but also the students who carry out the activity program. Keywords: Improving the Economy, Society, Mushroom Cultivation

Abstract

This article discusses the development of the periodization of ushul fiqh starting from the time of the Prophet, the companions, the tabi'in, the 4 Imams of madzhab, to the muta'akhirin period. This article was written to overcome the misunderstanding of Muslims today. The research method used in this research is library research, by collecting various existing literature. Ushul fiqh is the science of establishing a law using sources from the Koran and Sunnah. Ushul fiqh first existed during the time of the Prophet, precisely when he was first sent. At that time ushul fiqh was only limited to the interpretation of the Al-Qur'an and hadith from the Prophet. As time goes by, the methods used in ushul fiqh also develop. Moreover, in contemporary times, methods for determining laws are increasingly increasing and developing following various new problems that arise.

Abstract

This observation aims to find out Islamic laws that aren’t agreed upon by the Ulama, including: Istihsan, Istishab, Mashlahah Mursalah, ‘Urf, Saddu Dzara’i, Madzhab Shahabat, and Syar’u Man Qablana and their implementation in daily life. The method used in this paper is library and journal research by collecting data using descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of the observations explain that in its development, the sources of Islamic law which became the basis for determining Muslim rules were divided into two, (1) The sources of Islamic law agreed upon by the Ulama (al-Quran, Hadits, Ijma’, and Qiyas); (2) The sources of Islamic law that aren’t agreed upon by Ulama (Istihsan, Istishab, Mashlahah Mursalah, ‘Urf, Saddu Dzara’i, Madzhab Shahabat, and Syar’u Man Qablana).

Abstract

Studying the Islamic faith (aqedah) in today's era is very important. The flow of globalization is full of freedom in our daily life and can bring us positive or negative effects without realizing it. The thing that is most feared is if the impact of globalization has a bad influence on us, especially on students who are still looking for their own identity. The weakness of faith can cause this negative influence as the foundation of one's faith. If a student's faith is weak, he will be easily influenced or provoked by the circumstances around him, easily swayed by what he previously believed. In this article, we will examine three interrelated questions. First, what is the meaning of the Islamic creed, and what is its position in our lives? Second, what is the meaning of religious character? Third, how is the urgency of learning creed in shaping the religious character of students? This article uses a library research approach to review the three points above. The result is that strengthening faith through learning the Islamic faith will be very much needed as an effort to prevent negative things from entering students. In addition, the Islamic faith can also be said to reflect their character.

Abstract

Abstract Hadith is one of the foundations for determining law for Muslims. In fact, in terms of legal position, hadith is in a position after the Koran as the highest source of law in Islam. In terms of level, hadith is divided into three, namely: 1) Sahih Hadith, 2) Hasan Hadith, and 3) Daif Hadith. In this article the author will discuss what authentic, hasan, and dhaif hadith are and what conditions readers can use to find out; which hadith is authentic, hasan, or dhaif. By using analysis from several journals and books, it is hoped that this journal can be the key to understanding for readers to better understand what authentic, hasan, and dhaif hadith are.
