Abstract

This research was carried out with the intent and purpose of knowing the role and performance of TKBM at PT. Bandar Krida Jala Patimban for loading and unloading at Patimban Port, Subang. In this study the research design uses a qualitative approach by processing data from interviews with influential people in the company. In order to mobilize and group human resources, one must know what cargo will be unloaded. This is where port operations can mobilize human resources. Because loading and unloading management is an attempt to achieve the goal of loading and unloading performance and human resources play an important role at the port, and from there management plays an important role in carrying out loading and unloading activities. PT. Bandar Krida Jala (BKJL) Patimban, as the executor of loading and unloading activities for Completely Built Up (CBU) vehicle units or vehicles sent as a whole, both Passenger Cars, Trucks, High & Heavy Equipment. The researcher analyzed the relationship between the role of loading and unloading workers (TKBM) and loading and unloading performance based on data obtained from observations, documentation and interview results from informants, the greater the factors that influence TKBM, the more it will affect the performance of loading and unloading activities. The better the role of TKBM, the better its performance in the process of loading and unloading activities, and vice versa. In this case, the company is also affected due to the unfavorable loading and unloading workforce.

Abstract

The Indonesian sea transportation industry is a growing industry, getting smarter, price conscious, and competitive. This competitive competition is experienced not only with domestic sea transportation but also with international sea transportation. This study examines the effect of ticket prices and services on the decision to use passenger ships at PT. Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia Surabaya branch, the object of this research is PT. Pelni Surabaya Branch. The research population is all passengers on the Pelni ship. The number of samples drawn using the iteration formula is 116 people and this study uses quantitative methods and multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of the study stated that the ticket price partially had a positive and significant effect on the decision to use the passenger ship PT. Pelni. This can be proven by the results of tcount of 10.795 > from ttable = 1.981 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05, the service partially has a positive and significant effect on the decision to use the passenger ship PT. Pelni. This can be proven by the results of tcount of 2,323 which is greater than ttable = 1,981 with a significance level of 0.022 < 0.05 that prices and services have a positive and significant effect on the decision to use the passenger ship PT. Pelni. This is evidenced by the significant value of F count 102,917 which is greater than F table of 3.08 and the significance level of 0.000 is less than 0.05.

Abstract

Service is a person's or agency's business that aims to serve the needs of service users. Service is a very important element in an effort to increase satisfaction for service users. This study aims to determine the effect of passenger service quality on passenger satisfaction partially at the port of Yos Soedarso Tual Maluku. This research is included in the category of research that uses a quantitative approach. The population is 30 port service users, Yos Soedarso Tual Maluku, while the number of samples is the same as the population. The sampling technique is saturated sampling. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, while data analysis using simple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant influence between the quality of passenger service on satisfaction, it is shown from: 1). The results of the t-test at a constant of 0.485 with a significance of 0.632. 2). There is a significant influence between service effectiveness. The results of the t-test of 11.554 with a significance of 0.000. 3). There is a significant influence between passenger service partially on passenger satisfaction and the regression equation Y = 1.251 + 0.909 X

Abstract

DLU Ferry is an application issued by PT. Dharma Lautan Utama to make it easier for customers to order tickets. The DLU Ferry application still has weaknesses, therefore it needs improvement to improve the quality of this application. To find out the weaknesses of this application can be obtained from reviews written by consumers on the Google Play Store. This research contains analysis of consumer review data on the DLU Ferry application. This study uses data from 1575 reviews consisting of positive, neutral and negative sentiments. This research will measure the performance of the Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) method in classifying sentiments using the IndoBERT-base Pretrained model with fine-tuning techniques. The test results in this study obtained an accuracy of 86% with the selection of hyperparameters, namely batch size 32, learning rate 3e-6, and epoch 5.

Abstract

Investors obtain data or share information through the Indonesia Stock Exchange web page. From online information portals, investors occasionally obtain more knowledge about stock analysis and profitable stock projections. However, it takes time for investors to identify subjects that frequently come up and become popular stock information themes. The core of online stock information therefore requires subject modeling. Topic modeling, which seeks to look at the issues being discussed on a page of an internet stock information website, is the focus of this study. Research information is combined with 181 stock information February to July 2021, web source: kontan.co.id. Utilizing the Latent Dirichlet Allocation approach, topic modeling was tested. The topic modeling created 3 important groups and the distribution of the 10 creator words of each topic from online stock information. The topic modeling description creates a thirty-word note that occurs frequently from each topic.

Abstract

This paper presents sentiment analysis in online reviews using Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm. This research aims to classify the sentiment of online reviews into positive or negative by utilizing the SVM algorithm. The dataset used in this research consists of online reviews from May 2020 to April 2024 from www.tripadvisor.com. The results show the effectiveness of the SVM algorithm in accurately categorizing sentiment in online reviews, with a high level of precision and recall. The findings of this study have important implications for understanding and analyzing sentiment in online content, and can be utilized in various applications such as market research, customer feedback analysis, and opinion gathering.

Abstract

This study analyzes the performance of Container Cranes at PT Terminal Petikemas Surabaya to enhance quay operational efficiency. The main indicators used are Box Crane Hour (BCH) and Box Ship Hour (BSH). Findings show that the 2024 average BSH reached 47.03 boxes/hour (above target), while most cranes did not meet the BCH target of 25 boxes/hour. Key issues include bad weather, equipment downtime, and poor operational coordination. Recommendations include improved maintenance, operator training, and real-time performance monitoring.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries exporting caught, cultivated, and frozen shrimp to both developed and developing countries. Previously, the frozen shrimp export data was categorized based on the countries it was exported to. However, the list of frozen shrimp exports did not include the export levels. This research aims to explore the application of machine learning to analyze the frozen shrimp export data from the main destination countries using the K-Medoids cluster. The data for this research was sourced from the Bulletin of Foreign Trade Export Statistics documents by Product Group and Country, January 2023. The data used in this study covers the period from 2022 to 2023 and includes research variables such as net weight of goods (in tons) and FOB value (free on board). The cluster analysis revealed the formation of two clusters: one with high export levels and another with medium and low export levels.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk menanamkan jiwa kepemimpinan bahari sejak dini dalam pengambilan keputusan. Sasaran pengabdian masyarakat adalah anak SD yang berdomisili di Keputih Pompa Surabaya. Diharapkan, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat, dapat memberi pengalaman, menambah ketrampilan serta kemandirian berpikir maupun berprilaku serta menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri, sehingga anak akan belajar mengatur emosi, mengerti kesalahan dan bermacam ketrampilan lainnya dan bisa bekerja sama. Metode pengabdian masyarakat dengan mengajarkan anak cara mengambil keputusan dengan mengenalkan dunia kebaharian melalui tanya jawab yang berkaitan dengan dunia kebaharian. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat adalah anak dapat menjadi lebih mandiri bertanggung jawab, dan percaya diri dan bisa bekerja sama
