Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui proses kegiatan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media roda pintar dalam meningkatkan perkembangan bahasa anak melalui media roda pintar dan mengetahui sejauh mana hasil peningkatan perkembangan Bahasa anak melalui media roda pintar pada kelompok A di TKS Pertiwi Kecamatan Larangan Kabupaten Pamekasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan model penelitian Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok A TKS Pertiwi yang berjumlah 13 anak, 11 anak laki-laki dan 2 anak perempuan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama dua siklus yaitu siklus I dan siklus II. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tiga kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media roda pintar dapat meningkatkan perkembangan bahasa anak. Perkembangan bahasa anak mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya, mulai dari siklus I sampai siklus II. Pada kondisi awal atau pra siklus perkembangan bahasa anak sebesar 41,53%. Pada siklus I perkembangan bahasa anak meningkat menjadi 56,73%. Pada siklus II perkembangan bahasa anak kelompok A mengalami peningkatan mencapai 79,16%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media rodapintar dapat meningkatkan perkembangan bahasa anak pada kelompok A di TKS Pertiwi Kecamatan Larangan Kabupaten Pamekasan.

Abstract

The goal of early childhood education (PAUD) is to provide the best possible education and stimulation for children from birth to age six. Language development is one area that needs improvement. This study looks into how Wordwall games might help PKK Jalmak Kindergarten's young students' language development. Qualitative descriptive method was used in this study and involved 19 children from group A of TK PKK Jalmak, aged between 4 and 5 years old, consisting of 8 girls and 11 boys. Observation, interview, and documentation were the methods used to collect data. The results showed that the Wordwall game requires various steps, such as planning and preparation, implementation, and evaluation. All of these steps are characterized by improvements in letter recognition, repeating new vocabulary, the ability to understand two simple instructions, and the ability to identify words according to pictures.

Abstract

Although various theories emphasize the importance of sensorimotor activities in child development, the application of concrete media, such as sensory boards, in Montessori learning remains limited. Therefore, this study aims to develop and explore the use of sensory board media to enhance the sensorimotor skills of children in Montessori kindergartens. This research follows a Research and Development (RD) approach involving ten stages of Borg Gall’s educational research and development that the results are summarized in three key results, namely need assessment, development stage, model feasibility and product trial. The instruments used in this study included questionnaires and expert validation sheets. The findings of this study indicate the urgency of developing media that support rhythm relay activities. The results uncovered that the developed sensory board media is highly suitable for use in Montessori learning. The media expert provided a score of 89%, and the content expert rated it at 89.6%. Meanwhile, small-group testing yielded a score of 87.5%, and large-group testing resulted in 88.5%. The study suggests that sensory boards can effectively support sensorimotor development in early childhood students, and further dissemination of sensory board media in rhythm relay activities can further stimulate sensorimotor skills in early childhood.
