Abstract

Pengomposan merupakan salah satu sumber dalam mencari mikroorganisme potensial penghasil enzim Selama proses pengomposan, terjadi perubahan komunitas mikroorganisme yang disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor seperti perubahan suhu. Proses pengomposan pada penelitan ini terbagi menjadi 5 tahap pengomposan yaitu fasa inisiasi/ awal pengomposan (suhu pengomposan 28oC), mesofilik pertama (suhu 50 oC), termofilik (suhu 55 oC), mesofilik kedua (suhu 50 oC) dan fasa pematangan (suhu 37 oC). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi bakteri potensial yang dapat menghasilkan enzim amilase, selulase, xilanase dan lipase pada fase pematangan/ fase akhir pada proses pengomposan manur sapi. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bakteri F5A yaitu bakteri potensial dari hasil fase pematangan/fase akhirkompos manur sapi.  Bakteri ini sangat potensial karena memiliki aktivitas amilase, selulase, xilanase dan lipase. Dari hasil analisis filogenetik diketahui bahwa bakteri F3A memiliki homologi terdekat dengan Viridibacillus arenosi dengan kemiripan 98%. Kata Kunci:   Amilase, Lipase, Selulase, Xilanase, Viridibacillus arenosi

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini kami menganalisis timbal (Pb) dan Cadmium (Cd) pada lipstik yang berasal dari Pasar Kiaracondong Bandung dengan metode Spektrofotometri Serapan Atom. Sampel diambil secara acak dari lipstik terdaftar BPOM dan tidak terdaftar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kadar timbal logam (Pb) dan kadmium (Cd) pada lipstik di pasar Kiaracondong Bandung serta untuk mengetahui keamanannya dengan mengacu pada ketentuan BPOM di Indonesia. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan logam berat timbal dan kadmium pada 6 sampel lipstik yang beredar di Pasar Kiaracondong. Ada 4 sampel yang mengandung timbal dengan kadar melebihi batas aman sesuai BPOM. sedangkan 2 sampel lainnya mengandung timbal tapi masih dalam batas aman. Begitu pula kadmium, 6 sampel yang dianalisis mengandung kadmium tapi masih di bawah batas aman sesuai BPOM dan bisa dikatakan aman digunakan.Kata kunci: Cd, lipstick, Pb, SSA

Abstract

Cosmetics are ingredients or preparations used on the outside of the human body (epidermis, hair, nails, lips, and external genital organs) or teeth and oral mucous membranes, especially to cleanse, fragrance, change the appearance and improve body odor or protect or preserve the body in good condition. Cosmetics become a tool for women to make them more beautiful. But often they are not aware of the heavy metal content in cosmetics. For this reason, socialization in the community, especially women, is needed for the importance of choosing safe cosmetics by the CLICK CEK method. Communities need to be protected from cosmetics circulation that does not meet safety, usefulness and quality requirements that can endanger the health of the community itself. As for the targets of this activity are the women who are member of PKK RW 08 kecamatan Rancasari, kelurahan Manjahlega Bandung. Kosmetik adalah bahan atau sediaan yang digunakan pada bagian luar tubuh manusia (epidermis, rambut, kuku, bibir, dan organ genital bagian luar) atau gigi dan membran mukosa mulut terutama untuk membersihkan, mewangikan, mengubah penampilan dan memperbaiki bau badan atau melindungi atau memelihara tubuh pada kondisi baik. Kosmetik menjadi alat bagi kaum hawa untuk menjadikan mereka lebih cantik. Namun seringkali mereka tidak menyadari kandungan logam berat dalam kosmetik tersebut. Untuk itu maka diperlukan adanya sosialisasi pada masyarakat khususnya para wanita akan pentingnya cara memilih kosmetik yang aman dengan metode CEK KLIK. Masyarakat perlu dilindungi dari peredaran kosmetika yang tidak memenuhi persyaratan keamanan, kemanfaatan dan mutu yang dapat membahayakan kesehatan masyarakat itu sendiri. Adapun yang menjadi sasaran kegiatan ini adalah para kaum wanita yang menjadi anggota PKK RW 08 Kelurahan Rancasari, Kecamatan Manjahlega Bandung.

Abstract

Amilase adalah hidrolase penting yang telah digunakan secara luas selama beberapa dekade. Enzim ini secara acak memotong ikatan glikosidik internal dalam molekul pati untuk menghidrolisisnya dan menghasilkan gula. Di antara amilase, α-amilase memiliki permintaan terbesar karena berbagai aplikasinya di bidang industri. Ketika konsumen menjadi lebih sadar akan masalah lingkungan, industri menemukan bahwa enzim dapat menggantikan katalis kimia lainnya. α-amilase dapat diproduksi dari tumbuhan atau sumber mikroba. Karena keuntungan yang diberikan oleh produksi mikroba, α-amilase dari mikroorganisme telah menjadi fokus perhatian dan lebih disukai daripada sumber produksi lainnya. Sifatnya yang ada di mana-mana, produksi yang mudah, dan berbagai aplikasi menjadikan α-amilase sebagai enzim yang penting bagi industri. Tujuan review ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi mengenai pengaplikasian enzim α-amilase yang berasal dari mikroba yaitu bakteri dan yeast serta pemanfaatannya dalam industri farmasi terutama dalam pembuatan maltodekstrin.Kata kunci: α-Amilase ; Mikroba ; Maltodekstrin

Abstract

Turmeric (Curcuma longa L.), is one of the components of traditional medicine. Oleoresin, curcumin, resin, essential oils, desmetoxycurcumin, and bidesmetoxic curcumin are secondary metabolite compounds found in turmeric rhizomes. The aim of this research is to obtain pure isolates and identify specific bacterial species using Gram staining and 16S rRNA methods which are expected to be used as raw materials for new drugs. The hypothesis of this research is that isolates and species of endophytic bacteria were obtained from turmeric rhizomes (Curcuma longa L.). The methods used include material preparation, sample preparation and sterilization, bacterial isolation, DNA isolation, and sequencing. Seven isolates of turmeric rhizome bacteria (Curcuma longa L.) were obtained and the results of molecular identification were carried out on 1 isolate using the 16S rRNA method with code BE.K.5, which is homologous/has 94% similarity to Lysinibacilus sphaericus

Abstract

Vitamin E acetate has antioxidant activity that can prevent premature aging of the skin, but its nature is very lipophilic (log p±12.2) and has the potential to degrade. To overcome the problems of permeability and stability, vitamin E acetate needs to be developed in Nanostructured Lipid Carrier (NLC), which is a nano delivery system based on solid lipids and liquid lipids stabilized by surfactants as a colloidal system. The formulation of vitamin E acetate into NLC was carried out using the heat homogenization method, then sonicated using a probe sonicator. The materials used were 2% vitamin E acetate, 2-6% Compritol® and Precirol® solid lipids, 1% Myritol®, and 1-3% Chremophore and Plantacare® surfactants. The NLC results were then characterized by measuring particle size, zeta potential, polydispersity index, entrapment efficiency, and morphology. The characterization results showed that NLC vitamin E acetate had a particle size of 280-375 nm, a zeta potential of -23 mV to -28 mV, a polydispersity index <0.5, an entrapment efficiency of 92-97%, and a spherical morphology. The results showed that Nanostructured Lipid Carrier vitamin E acetate gave good results.

Abstract

Native lipase is still promising as an industrial biocatalyst. This study aimed to investigate the production of native local lipase using solid state fermentation (SSF) methods, immobilization the lipase by Ca-alginate entrapment, and characterization based on substrate preferences. To obtain high lipase production using SSF methods, we optimized the type of agro-wastes substrates, fermentation time, oil induction percentage and volume of preculture percentage. The optimal condition for lipase production via solid-state fermentation involved a 7% (v/v) preculture of Pseudomonas aeruginosa SB-37, utilizing palm kernel meal as the substrate, supplemented with 6% (v/w) oil induction (soybean oil:tween 80 = 75:25) at 50 °C for 24 h. This gave a lypolitic activity value of 2 U/gds (gram dry weight substrates). Since the protein profile of extracellular lipase has a few protein bands, we perform direct immobilization on crude protein supernatant. Immobilization by Ca-alginate entrapment results in loading capacity and recovery activity values of 86.84% and 148%, respectively. The immobilized lipase retained 92% activity until four batch repetition and keep 40% activity at tenth batch. The highest hydrolytic activity of immobilized lipase was 0.9 U/g gel on the pNP_8 substrates. While the highest transesterification activity was observed with acetonitrile solvent and substrates of pNP_8 and isopropanol with the activity value at 0.6 U/g gel. This present study emphasized the feasibility of producing lipase as a biocatalysts using economical agro-industrial wastes and efficient immobilization using entrapment method. Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian nilai dakwah dalam tradisi maulid nabi jama’ah masjid al huda untuk mengetahui bagaiman pelaksanaan tradisi maulid nabi dan nilai dakwah apa saja yang terkandung di dalam tradisi tersebut, ta’mir masjid yang bertanggung jawab atas pelaksanaan mauid nabi tersebut harus mengetahui bagaiman alatar belakang jama’ah masjid al huda, agar pelaksanaan maulid nabi tudak hanya sekedar agenda tahunan bagi mereka. Melalui hal itu pelaksanaan maulid nabi lebih mengesankan dan mempunyai kesan baik pada jam’ah masjid al huda, hal ini tentunya adanyaa nilai yang terkandung didalamnya Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan pendekatan sosiologis dengan melakukan observasi partisipisan dan wawancara sebagai metode utama pengumpulan datanya. Sedangkan metode yang digunakan kualitatif diskriptif yang memiliki karakteristik sumber data langsung, deskriptif .bersifat triangulation yaitu teknik pemeriksaan data dengan memanfaatkan sesuatu yang lain sebagai pembanding diluar data yang ditemukan, pengambilan subjek di lingkungan jama’ah masjid al huda.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Latar belakang pendidikan dan minimnya wadah informasi pada waktu itu yang membuat para jama’ah kurang memahami atau memaknai dengan baik maulid nabi sebenarya. melalui hal hal yang kecil dalam pelaksanaan maulid nabi di lingkungan masjid al huda membuat jamaah lebih mengambil nilai di dalamnya, kesederhanaan ambengan (makanan) misalnya. Dan melalui susunan acara maulid nabi ini pula jamaah masjid al huda dapat mengambil nilai dakwah yang kemudian dapat di aplikasikan dalam kehidupan nyata. Nilai dakwah tersebut antara lain nilai keagamaan, nilai pengetahuan, nilai solidaritas, nilai ekonomi dan nilai kesenian. While the method used is descriptive qualitative which has the characteristics of direct data sources, descriptive. Triangulation is a technique of examining data by utilizing something else as a comparison outside of the data found, taking the subject in the environment of the Al Huda mosque congregation. The conclusion of this study is Background The background of education and the lack of information containers at that time made the congregation not understand or properly interpret the real prophet's birthday. through small things in the implementation of the Prophet's birthday in the Al Huda mosque environment, the congregation takes more value in it, the simplicity of ambengan (food) for example. And through this arrangement of the Prophet's birthday, the Al Huda mosque congregation can also take the value of da'wah which can then be applied in real life. Abstract

Introduction: Tretinoin is an effective retinoid derivative for acne therapy, but has formulation challenges due to its lipophilic nature and high crystallinity. An appropriate formulation strategy is needed to improve its stability and bioavailability. Objective: This study aims to evaluate the compatibility of tretinoin with excipients in nanosuspension formulations and their physicochemical characterization. Methods: Preliminary tests were carried out using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), crystallinity was analyzed by X-ray Diffraction (XRD), and thermal analysis by Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). Nanosuspension characterization includes particle size, polydispersity index, zeta potential and entrapment efficiency. In silico test of the potential of tretinoin as a COX-2 inhibitor related to anti-inflammatory effects. Results: FTIR results showed no chemical interaction between tretinoin and excipients. XRD showed a decrease in tretinoin crystallinity after mixing with HPMC and PVP. DSC showed a shift in the melting point of tretinoin, indicating a physical interaction with excipients. Characterization of nanosuspension showed particle size <1000 nm, polydispersity index <0.5, zeta potential ±-20 mV, and entrapment efficiency >80%. In silico tests show that tretinoin has a binding energy of -9.57 kcal/mol against the Cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) enzyme with an inhibition constant of 96.03 nM. Conclusion: Tretinoin shows good compatibility and physicochemical characteristics in nanosuspension formulation, as well as potential as an anti-inflammatory agent through COX-2 inhibition.
