Abstract

The number of gadget users in elementary school students has recently increased. If this habit is sustainable, it can make students social interaction skills decrease. This study aims (1) to determine the gadget users for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Jatigunung, (2) students’ social interaction skills in social studies subjects for class IV SD Negeri 1 Jatigunung, and (3) the impact of using gadgets on students social interaction skills in social studies learning for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Jatigunung. The type of research was descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study on fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Jatigunung, are as follows: (1) Grade IV students with a total of 26 students, including smartphone users; (2) the social interaction ability of fourth grade students during social studies learning in class is low; (3) The gadget users on students has a negative impact on students social interaction skills in social studies learning. The negative impacts were the unpolite students speaking to their teachers in less refined language (Javanese ngoko), students less confidence, students do not interact with friends, and students less focus when given the theory.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika menggunakan media akalimatika; 2) mengetahui apakah pembelajaran matematika menggunakan media akalimatika dapat memperkuat konsep perkalian siswa kelas II. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika menggunakan media akalimatika meliputi penyampaian petunjuk penggunaan, penjelasan konsep perkalian dan pemberian kesempatan siswa mempelajari konsep perkalian dengan menggunakan media. Proses belajar mengajar terjadi secara dua arah antara guru dan siswa; 2) berdasarkan indikator pemahaman konsep perkalian dari dokumentasi hasil tes dan wawancara sebanyak 75% siswa mampu menjawab pertanyaan sesuai dengan indikator pemahaman konsep perkalian tanpa bimbingan guru, sedangkan 25% siswa masih memerlukan bimbingan guru. Dengan demikian, penggunaan media akalimatika mampu memperkuat konsep perkalian siswa kelas II Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Family education is basic education for children before the child goes out into Family Education, Character, the wider world. The education provided by the family becomes a moral Cooperative Learning provision for children in life in society. Forming individual character cannotbe separated from the influence of family education. This research uses a qualitative method which is a research procedure that produces qualitative descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observed behavior and the implementation of this research was carried out at SDN Kacangan 1 with the data source being fifth grade students. The results of this research are 1) parents and teachers have a very important influence in the process of forming children's morals, because in an educational component there must be communication so that it is in harmony with the existing double standards. 2) students who have poor character will affect cognitive aspects and affective in the learning process in formal schools. The obstacles that parents often experience in the process of forming children's morals are peers and the school environment. With these things, it is hoped that parents will direct their teenagers more in positive ways. namely by being a good parental figure for their children. Introduce and teach religion to children from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the cardboard wayang media in thematic learning in order to prevent student boredom and to introduce wayang media as the cultural heritage of the Indonesian nation. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach. The research was carried out in the odd semester of 2021/2022. The data collection techniques used interviews, observations and documentation. Interviews were addressed to educators and students. Observations were carried out to find out how the implementation of thematic learning for class V at SD N Jetak II was carried out. The findings before using KGW media (carton pictures puppet students are less interested in learning and easily feel bored so that learning outcomes are less effective. The result of the study showed that after using the KGW media (carton puppet pictures) students were more active in participating in learning and were not easily bored and students learning achievement improved better. The use of KGW learning media (carton puppet pictures) aims to minimize the use of plastic and increase student creativity at SD N Pendem II. So that KGW deserves to be used as an alternative to achieve effective learning.
