Abstract

At this time information technology is developing very rapidly and requires business actors to be able to follow the developments and advances of the times, especially in the world of technology and information. Inventory of merchandise is a company asset that is one of the assets included in current assets. Merchandise inventories are company assets that are purchased and stored to be resold and make a profit. Recording of merchandise inventory that is still manual, such as data collection of incoming goods, demand for goods, delivery of goods, returns of goods to the preparation of reports will certainly result in the accumulation of goods request notes. The difficulty of data collection of requests for goods from branches to deliver goods, errors in goods requested and sent, the length of time to record the return of goods, errors in calculating the stock of goods and difficulty in obtaining reports when needed are also one of the obstacles in the process of merchandise inventory. Therefore, a web-based inventory information system is needed in order to make it easier for users to manage the inventory process of their merchandise, so that it can simplify the process of recording, storing, searching and making reports. In designing a web-based inventory information system, the author uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. This information system is the best solution for solving problems in managing inventory. With the use of computer data technology, managed data becomes faster, reduces time inefficiency and reduces the occurrence of errors in processing data.

Abstract

Abstrak  - Sales Executive pada KIA Motors Siliwangi merupakan karyawan dengan status kontrak yang masa kerjanya dapat diperpanjang secara berkala dengan melihat capaian target penjualan yang telah ditentukan oleh perusahaan. Apabila target penjualan tidak tercapai maka kontrak kerja akan dihentikan. Agar dapat memacu semangat para karyawan untuk dapat bekerja secara optimal dan maksimal maka pemberian penghargaan sebagai Sales Executive terbaik merupakan hal yang penting. Sales Supervisor dalam menentukan karyawan terbaik belum menggunakan metode yang dapat menangani penilaian karyawan dengan banyak kriteria sehingga untuk membantu proses penilaian dibutuhkan sebuah sistem yang diharapkan dapat membantu untuk membuat suatu keputusan. Metode Weighted Product merupakan metode pengambilan keputusan dengan cara perkalian untuk menghubungkan rating atribut, di mana rating setiap atribut harus dipangkatkan dulu dengan bobot atribut yang bersangkutan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sistem pendukung keputusan dengan metode Weighted Product memudahkan Sales Supervisor dalam melakukan penilaian terhadap Sales Executive sesuai kriteria yang telah ditentukan sehingga tujuan dalam melakukan penelitian dapat tercapai.Kata Kunci : Sistem Pendukung Keputusan, Sales Executive Terbaik, Weighted Product. Abstract  - Sales Executives at KIA Motors Siliwangi are employees with contract status whose tenure can be extended periodically by looking at the achievement of sales targets that have been determined by the company. If the sales target is not achieved, the work contract will be terminated. In order to stimulate the enthusiasm of employees to work optimally and maximally, the awarding of the best Sales Executive is important. Sales Supervisors in determining the best employees have not used a method that can handle employee assessments with many criteria so that to assist the assessment process a system is needed which is expected to help make a decision. The Weighted Product method is a decision-making method by multiplying to connect attribute ratings, where the rating of each attribute must be raised first with the weight of the attribute in question. The results showed that the decision support system with the Weighted Product method made it easier for Sales Supervisors to evaluate Sales Executives according to predetermined criteria so that the objectives of conducting research could be achieved.Keywords: Decision Support System, Best Sales Executive, Weighted Product.
