Abstract

Nilai resistansi jenis tanah dipengaruhi beberapa faktor yaitu jenis tanah (liat,berpasir dan berbatuan), lapisan tanah, kelembaban tanah, temperatur. Penggunaan NGR (Neutral Grounding Resistor) sebagai tahanan titik netral sekunder trafo merupakan bagian dari koordinasi proteksi dalam sistem kelistrikan karena tanpa pentanahan yang baik dapat membahayakan makhluk hidup yang ada di sekitar trafo bahkan dapat merusak trafo tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai tahanan pentanahan serta pengaruhnya terhadap sistem pentanahan NGR 40 ohm dan efektifitasnya terhadap proteksi feeder. Metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan melakukan pengukuran nilai tahanan pentanahan dan NGR yang dilanjutkan dengan melakukan simulasi menggunakan aplikasi program komputer ETAP 16.0. Data-data sistem diperoleh dari PT. PLN Pekat dan direpresentasikan kedalam SLD pada ETAP 16.0. Hasil perhitungan diperoleh arus gangguan satu fasa ke tanah tergantung nilai tahanan sistem pentanahan dan lokasi gangguan. Dari pengukuran bahwa besar nilai sistem pentanahan di sistem kelistrikan Pekat sebesar 157.8 ohm. Simulasi gangguan pada feeder dengan nilai sistem pentanahan sebesar 40 ohm diperoleh arus maksimal gangguan satu fasa ke tanah sebesar 269 Ampere, sedangkan pada sistem pentanahan 157.8 ohm diperoleh arus maksimal gangguan satu fasa ke tanah sebesar 75 Ampere.

Abstract

The Journalistic Code of Ethics plays a very important role in the world of the press as a guide to the values of the journalistic profession, so that the journalistic code of ethics must be understood and implemented by journalists. This research is motivated by problems in implementing the photojournalism code of ethics. The aim of this research is to find out how the photojournalism code of ethics is applied to accident news on Tribunjambi.com. The research approach that researchers use is a qualitative approach with content analysis. Qualitative research is research used to examine the condition of natural objects where the researcher is the core instrument. The types of data used in this research are primary data and secondary data with data collection through documentation, observation and interviews. Apart from that, data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and data verification and are continued by checking the validity of the data. The results of this research can be concluded that the application of the code of ethics for photojournalism in general is still not in accordance with press law. Likewise with the journalistic code of ethics which regulates the work of journalists and media in broadcasting photos in news stories. Like other online media, the Tribunjambi.com website will of course try to implement the photojournalism code of ethics every day, but when implementing the photojournalism code of ethics, it is certainly not as easy as desired and expected. Factors that support Tribunjambi.com in implementing a journalistic code of ethics are the provision that Tribunjambi.com provides to its journalists before creating and broadcasting a story, looking for journalists who already have an understanding of the journalistic code of ethics, and providing advice and infrastructure that journalists need. and staff, while the inhibiting factor that journalists, editors in chief and publishers may face in implementing the code of ethics for photojournalism is that they forget or do not pay attention that photos containing sadistic elements should be blurred Keywords: Analysis, Code of Ethics, Photojournalism, Accident

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the significant correlation between learning interests and students' learning achievement at MTs Al Mafaz. The research design is a quantitative analysis. The researchers used purposive sampling. The samples comprised 15 students in grade seven, and the data were obtained from the questionnaire and documentation. The technique used to analyze the data is simple correlation with SPSS 21 v.21 Program. The result of the research showed that the value of the Coefficient Correlation 0,01 means that there is no correlation between parents' attention and learning achievement, it was a very weak correlation based on the table interpretation of correlation, and it is based on the value significance Sig. (2-tailed) The correlation between learning interest and students' learning achievement is 0,957 > 0,05. There is no significant correlation between learning interest and students' learning achievement. The hypothesis is Null Hypothesis (Ho) is accepted, and Hypothesis Alternative (Ha) is rejected.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the factors influencing the students' difficulties in achieving high intermediate score on the toefl itp of English Department at Madako University.The participants in this study are eight semester English students who have taken the TOEFL test and the researcher only took 8 student out of 28 over all. This study use an interview as the instrument in collecting the data and descriptive qualitative is the method of this research .Analyze and interpret the data through qualitative procedures by doing an interview, if the answer questioned after the analysis feel unsatisfactory, the researcher will ask question again until a certain point in time there is data that is considered credible. After all the data is collected, then data reduction is carried out after sorting and selecting the data essentials are completed, then the data is presented in the form of descriptive text and then conclusions are made. The finding of this study are the lack of consistent and comprehensive practice, along with low intrinsic motivation, serves as significant barriers, as many students only start practicing close to the exam and do so merely to fulfill administrative requirements. Additionally, limitations in basic English skills, particularly in grammar and listening, also affect their performance and causing the student difficult to accomplish a high intermediate score

Abstract

: The researcher aims to determine whether there is a significant correlation between grammar mastery and writing ability of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Tolitoli. This study uses a correlational research design. The sample consists of 25 students of class VIII H who were selected purposively. The data were analyzed statistically using SPSS 25. The results of the study indicate that there is a correlation between grammar mastery and writing ability, with a correlation coefficient of 0.548 which is in the range of 0.40–0.599, which indicates a moderate correlation. The data shows that the Sig. (2-tailed) value = 0.006, which is smaller than 0.05. Therefore, the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ) is accepted. These results indicate that there is a significant correlation between grammar mastery and writing ability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the factors causing students to experience difficulties in listening skills in the eighth semester English Language Study Program, Madako University. In this study, the researcher focused on the factors that hinder students in listening skills, including how students overcome these obstacles. The respondents of this study were eighth semester English Language Study Program students, Madako University. This study is a qualitative descriptive study where the researcher collected data using direct interview techniques. To obtain data and research results from students who were sources based on the researcher's findings, several factors were found that caused problems for students in the listening skills process. Namely 1. Cultural Differences, 2. Quality of Recording Materials, 3. Unfamiliar Vocabulary, 4. Length and Speed ​​of Listening, 5. Physical Condition, 6. Noise-Related Problems, 7. Lack of Concentration.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis culture shock yang dihadapi mahasiswa Universitas Madako selama program pertukaran mahasiswa (PMM). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode wawancara semi-terstruktur terhadap 6 mahasiswa peserta program. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa para mahasiswa mengalami berbagai gejala culture shock, seperti rasa rindu kampung halaman, kebingungan dalam komunikasi, kehilangan nafsu makan, sulit tidur, dan kecemasan. Tantangan utama yang dihadapi meliputi perbedaan bahasa, gaya komunikasi, adat istiadat, serta norma sosial yang berlaku di lingkungan baru. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, mahasiswa menerapkan berbagai strategi adaptasi, seperti menjalin interaksi sosial dengan warga lokal, mengikuti kegiatan kampus secara aktif, serta mempersiapkan diri secara mental dan budaya. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pembekalan budaya sebelum keberangkatan dan dukungan berkelanjutan selama program berlangsung agar mahasiswa dapat memperoleh pengalaman belajar yang optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the use of Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) projector learning media in increasing students’ learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education and Character Education subjects at State Junior High School 10 Merangin. The main problem of this study is the low level of students’ participation, attention, and seriousness during the learning process, which indicates the need for more innovative and engaging learning media. This research employed a qualitative approach using field research design. Data were collected through classroom observation, in-depth interviews with Islamic Religious Education teachers and students of class VIII B, and documentation. The data were analyzed descriptively through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing in order to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the implementation of LCD projector-based learning. The findings reveal that the use of LCD projectors through videos, PowerPoint presentations, and visual images increases students’ interest, attention, and learning focus. Visual and audiovisual presentations make the learning process more engaging, interactive, and less monotonous, thus helping students to understand learning materials more easily. Students showed higher enthusiasm, were more active in classroom discussions, and demonstrated stronger motivation to participate in learning activities. Supporting factors include the availability of facilities, teachers’ competence, and school support, while inhibiting factors consist of electricity interruptions, inadequate classroom lighting, and limited equipment. Overall, the use of LCD projectors has a positive impact on students’ learning motivation, although several technical constraints still need to be addressed

Abstract

This study aims to identify and discribe the self-confidence and speaking skills of eighth-grade students at MTs DDI Siapo. Speaking is a fundamental skill in English learning that is influenced not only by linguistic factors but also by psychological factors such as self-confidence. This study used a qualitative descriptive method through semi-structured interviews with nine students. The results showed that most students had low self-confidence, characterized by nervousness, shyness, fear of making mistakes, and negative assessments of their speaking abilities. These psychological barriers significantly impacted students' willingness to speak English. This study identified five main indicators affecting student self-confidence: perception of self-ability, previous success experiences, social support, response to mistakes or social judgment, and personal motivation and determination. Students with high self-confidence tended to be more active and confident in speaking, while students with low self-confidence were more passive and reluctant to participate.
