Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of finding out the effect of the way modeling method on the learning outcomes of class IV students at MI Hidayatul Ikhwan NW Bungtiang. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental type of research and the research design used is posttest-only control group desigen, that is, this research consists of an experimental group and a control group and the two groups were not given a pre-test because the two groups were selected. randomly so that they are considered the same before treatment is given. By using the modeling the way learning method, the sample for this research was 27 class IV students. This research was carried out for 2 weeks. The data collection technique used in this research is a test of student learning outcomes which are analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The data obtained is also analyzed and processed using the SPSS v 24 program. The results of the research show that there is an influence of the modeling the way learning method on lesson learning outcomes Indonesian language for class IV students at MI NW Bungtiang, which means that the influence of the modeling the way learning method is very effective in improving the learning outcomes of Indonesian language lessons for class IV students at MI NW Bungtiang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis upaya guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan membaca, menulis, dan berhitung (calistung) pada siswa kelas III MI NW Lenek Lauk. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 35% siswa mengalami kesulitan mengenali huruf, 40% dalam menulis struktur kalimat, dan 30% dalam operasi matematika dasar. Guru telah menerapkan berbagai strategi efektif seperti pembelajaran remedial, penggunaan media visual, metode bermain sambil belajar, dan pendekatan individual, yang terbukti meningkatkan pemahaman siswa secara signifikan. Namun, implementasi strategi ini menghadapi kendala berupa keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran (hanya 35 menit per sesi), rendahnya partisipasi orang tua (hanya 40% yang aktif mendampingi), serta minimnya alat peraga edukatif. Temuan penelitian ini memperkuat pentingnya pendekatan multimodal dalam pembelajaran calistung sesuai dengan teori perkembangan literasi dan numerasi anak. Penelitian merekomendasikan perlunya peningkatan alokasi waktu pembelajaran, pengembangan media belajar inovatif, pelatihan guru dalam teknik pembelajaran diferensiasi, serta penguatan kolaborasi dengan orang tua melalui program parenting khusus. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat menjadi dasar pengembangan model pembelajaran calistung yang lebih holistik dengan mempertimbangkan aspek pedagogis, sarana prasarana, dan keterlibatan seluruh pemangku kepentingan pendidikan

Abstract

Low student learning motivation is often associated with suboptimal parental involvement in supporting children's learning activities at home. This study aimed to describe the contribution of parents in enhancing the learning motivation of sixth-grade students at MI Nurul Wathan Pelambik and to identify the factors that support and hinder such contributions. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. The research participants consisted of parents of sixth-grade students as the primary informants, while the principal, the sixth-grade teacher, and students served as supporting informants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation and were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that parental contributions to enhancing students' learning motivation were reflected in three main roles: as role models, facilitators, and motivators. As role models, parents fostered religious values and positive behaviors through daily practices. As facilitators, they provided educational needs according to their financial capacity. As motivators, they encouraged their children through attention, praise, rewards, and educational punishment. The supporting factors included parents' awareness of the importance of education, effective parent–child communication, and collaboration with the school. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors comprised limited family economic resources, parents' occupations as farmers, limited time for learning assistance, and uncontrolled use of digital devices. The study concludes that active parental involvement plays a significant role in enhancing students' learning motivation.
