Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of finding out the effect of the way modeling method on the learning outcomes of class IV students at MI Hidayatul Ikhwan NW Bungtiang. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental type of research and the research design used is posttest-only control group desigen, that is, this research consists of an experimental group and a control group and the two groups were not given a pre-test because the two groups were selected. randomly so that they are considered the same before treatment is given. By using the modeling the way learning method, the sample for this research was 27 class IV students. This research was carried out for 2 weeks. The data collection technique used in this research is a test of student learning outcomes which are analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The data obtained is also analyzed and processed using the SPSS v 24 program. The results of the research show that there is an influence of the modeling the way learning method on lesson learning outcomes Indonesian language for class IV students at MI NW Bungtiang, which means that the influence of the modeling the way learning method is very effective in improving the learning outcomes of Indonesian language lessons for class IV students at MI NW Bungtiang.

Abstract

This study investigates the integration of Eco-English Language Teaching (Eco-ELT) within the English study program curriculum through the ADDIE instructional design model. The primary objective is to develop and evaluate English teaching materials that enhance both language proficiency and environmental awareness among students. Employing a qualitative research approach, the study follows the ADDIE model's five phases: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data were collected via observations, interviews, and document analysis to assess the effectiveness of the Eco-ELT materials. Findings reveal that incorporating Eco-ELT significantly improves students' engagement, English language skills, and environmental consciousness. The study also highlights challenges, such as the need for comprehensive teacher training and resource constraints. The research underscores Eco-ELT as a promising approach for integrating environmental education into language teaching, with implications for English teaching material development and further exploration of sustainable educational practices.

Abstract

The intent of the study was to examine the efficacy of using the Speech Ace program in enhancing the English pronunciation of senior high school. A pre-experimental approach was used, consisting of one experimental class that included Speech Ace during sessions that received standard education. Both courses underwent pre-testing and post-testing to assess their pronunciation abilities. The findings demonstrated a statistically significant enhancement in the average score of the experimental group's post- test, which increased from 64,85 to 74,38. On the other hand. A t-test analysis comparing independent samples showed a statistically significant difference between the groups, with a p-value of 0.000, which is less than the significance level of 0.05. As a result, it was determined that the study hypothesis was confirmed, indicating that SpeechAce had a considerable impact on students' English-pronunciation proficiency. The good evaluations of SpeechAce were also seen in the student interviews and surveys. In summary, the results of the study provide concrete evidence that using technology-based tools like SpeechAce may significantly improve students' pronunciation abilities when used with traditional teaching techniques.

Abstract

This study examined the effectiveness of video-based instruction in improving the English pronunciation skills of 32 second-year students at a public senior high school in South Sulawesi. Using a one-group pre-test–post-test design over one month, students participated in eight sessions incorporating video materials that modeled vowels, consonants, stress, intonation, and rhythm. Quantitative data from pre- and post-tests were analyzed using SPSS. Results showed a significant improvement in pronunciation scores—from an average of 48.50 (“poor”) to 65.75—with a paired-samples t-test (t = –10.213, p = 0.000) confirming the statistical significance. Students made notable gains in producing unfamiliar phonemes and recognizing word stress, though intonation and rhythm remained more challenging. These findings suggest that video-assisted learning can enhance pronunciation outcomes in EFL classrooms. Practically, this implies that teachers should integrate multimedia tools into instruction to increase student engagement, provide authentic models, and foster more effective and inclusive pronunciation learning environments.
