Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi tentang sulitnya siswa memahami materi KPK dan FPB dalampembelajaran matematika. Penggunaan media pembelajaran di kelas kurang maksimal untukmembantu siswa oleh karena itu perlu dikembangkannya media yang dapat membantu siswa dalammemahami materi KPK dan FPB. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan mediapembelajaran matematika di kelas V yang berupa media Smart Board Mathematics dan untukmengetahui kelayakan dari media Smart Board Mathematics yang dikembangkan pada matapelajaran matematika. Proses penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan denganmenggunakan metode Research and Develpoment (R&D) yang diadaptasi dari penelitian Sugiyono.Produk yang dikembangkan adalah media pembelajaran matematika yaitu media Smart BoardMathematics. Berdasarkan data penilaian yang diperoleh terhadap produk media Smart BoardMathematics sebagai berikut: ahli media mendapat skor 58 masuk kriteria baik, ahli materi mendapatskor 66 masuk kriteria baik, ahli pembelajaran mendapat skor 65 masuk kriteria baik, validasi gurupada uji coba kelompok kecil dan uji coba kelompok besar mendapat skor 95 masuk kriteriakelayakan sangat layak sedangkan penilaian siswa pada uji coba kelompok kecil mendapat skor 43,16masuk kriteria kelayakan sangat layak dan pada uji coba kelompok besar mendapat skor 44,709masuk kriteria kelayakan sangat layak. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dengan demikian mediaSmart Board Mathematics yang dikembangkan di kelas V pada materi KPK dan FPB layak digunakandalam proses pembelajaran

Abstract

The need for learning materials that can adapt to students’ abilities and characteristics has made the development of AI-based adaptive learning resources increasingly important in elementary education. However, limited digital literacy and high workloads among teachers hinder optimal implementation. This Community Service Program aimed to enhance the competencies of teachers at Sekolah Alam Ananda Mandiri Slawi through workshops, guided practice, and hands-on development of AI-supported adaptive materials. The method included preparation, conceptual presentation, technology demonstration, guided practice, pre–post evaluation, and follow-up support. The results showed a significant improvement, with teachers’ competence in the “good” category increasing from 22.5% to 82.5%, and all participants (100%) successfully producing at least one adaptive module and one deep-learning-based material component. Furthermore, 92% of participants reported that the program greatly improved their digital literacy and pedagogical understanding. Thus, this activity effectively strengthened teachers’ competencies and provided a strong foundation for the sustainable integration of AI-based adaptive learning materials in elementary classrooms.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of elementary school students, which are influenced by the dominance of conventional teaching methods and limited active student participation. The purpose of this research was to examine the effect of implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on improving students’ learning outcomes in Integrated Science and Social Studies (IPAS). This study employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design using a one-group pretest-posttest format. The participants consisted of 22 fourth-grade students at SD Muhammadiyah Brebes. Data were collected through pretest and posttest assessments administered before and after the implementation of the PBL model. The data were analyzed using normality testing, paired sample t-test, and N-Gain analysis with the assistance of SPSS software. The results revealed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores, with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating that the implementation of PBL had a significant effect on students’ learning outcomes. In addition, the average N-Gain score of 0.7168 was categorized as high, suggesting that the PBL model is effective in enhancing students’ conceptual understanding in IPAS. Therefore, Problem Based Learning has the potential to serve as an alternative instructional strategy to improve the quality of learning and promote active student engagement in the learning process.
