Abstract

Increased use of the internet has resulted in innovation in control systems. The Internet of things (IOT) is an innovation where some electronic devices can be controlled remotely by utilizing the internet to obtain a more efficient control system, and save time. So a tool based on the Internet of things (IOT) is made that uses a smartphone as a controller for household appliances such as lights and fans. Where this tool uses the Arduino Uno as the brain to do the work and the WIFI module ESP-01 as a connection for the wifi signal which is connected to a smartphone that has been programmed via Arduino software, while several trials of the Internet Of Things (IOT) tool were carried out, namely distance trials to be tested from the closest distance of 1 meter and the farthest 100 meters to control household appliances.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how much influence communication and teamwork through work motivation have on employee performance with intervening variables at the West Sumatra Province Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Service Office. This research is a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) model with the SmartPLS 3.0 analysis tool. The population and sample for this study were employees of the West Sumatra Province Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Service. There is a positive and significant influence between Communication on Work Motivation at the Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Service of West Sumatra Province. There is a positive and significant influence between Teamwork on Work Motivation at the West Sumatra Province Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Service. There is a positive and significant influence between Communication on Employee Performance at the West Sumatra Province Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Service. There is a positive and insignificant influence between Teamwork on Employee Performance at the Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Service of West Sumatra Province. There is a positive and insignificant influence between Work Motivation on Employee Performance at the West Sumatra Province Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Service.

Abstract

Pada lingkungan rumah, banyak musholla modern yang masih bergantung pada pengendalian manual, terutama untuk pengaturan energi dan pencahayaan. Tantangan utama dalam manajemen musholla adalah efisiensi energi, yang perlu segera ditangani. Karena lampu hanya menyala saat diperlukan, otomatisasi menghemat listrik dan biaya operasional. Penelitian ini membahas sistem pengendalian lampu di Musholla Ar-Rahma berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) menggunakan NodeMCU ESP8266. Sistem ini dirancang untuk mengatur nyala dan matinya lampu secara otomatis melalui koneksi internet dengan memanfaatkan teknologi Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT). Berdasarkan serangkaian pengujian yang dilakukan, sistem ini terbukti dapat beroperasi dengan baik sesuai dengan desain yang telah ditentukan. Pengujian dilakukan dengan beberapa skenario, di mana lampu berhasil dikendalikan melalui perintah yang dikirimkan dari aplikasi. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa fitur pengaturan jadwal otomatis untuk menyalakan dan mematikan lampu berdasarkan jadwal yang telah ditentukan. Ini akan memastikan lampu menyala saat diperlukan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of Work Discipline and Work Motivation on Employee Performance, with Career Development as an intervening variable at the Department of Manpower and Transmigration in Sijunjung. This research employs the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach using SmartPLS 3.0 for analysis. The population and sample of this study consist of all employees at the Department of Manpower and Transmigration in Sijunjung.The findings indicate that Work Discipline has an insignificant effect on Career Development. Work Motivation has a positive and significant effect on Career Development. Work Discipline has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. Work Motivation has an insignificant effect on Employee Performance. Career Development has an insignificant effect on Employee Performance. Work Discipline has an insignificant effect on Employee Performance through Career Development. Work Motivation has an insignificant effect on Employee Performance through Career Development.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of Reward and Work Motivation on Work Discipline, with Work Discipline as an intervening variable at the Regional Revenue Agency of Padang City. This research uses a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) model with the SmartPLS 3.0 analysis tool. The population and sample of this study consist of all employees in the secretariat field at the Regional Revenue Agency of Padang City. The research findings show that there is a positive and significant effect of Reward on Work Discipline, and a positive and significant effect of Work Motivation on Work Discipline. However, there is no positive and significant effect of Reward on Employee Performance, no positive and significant effect of Work Motivation on Employee Performance, and no positive and significant effect of Work Discipline on Employee Performance. Work Discipline mediates the effect of Reward on Employee Performance and mediates the effect of Work Motivation on Employee Performance.

Abstract

The era of digital technology development has become a trigger for business change, therefore the ability to manage human resources in accordance with current developments is something that is absolutely essential for visionary companies in the digital era. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of job promotions and job training on employee performance through career development at the Sijunjung Regency Social Service. The population and sample for this research were 39 employees of the Sijunjung Regency Social Service. Data collection methods are through surveys and distributing questionnaires. This research model is structural equation modeling (SEM), with analysis tools using SmartPLS 3.0. Based on the research results, it shows that there is a positive and significant influence between Job Promotion and Career Development. There is a negative and significant influence between Job Training and Career Development. There is a positive and significant influence between Position Promotion on Employee Performance. There is a positive and significant influence between Job Training and Employee Performance. There is a negative and insignificant influence between Career Development and Employee Performance. There is a negative and insignificant influence between Position Promotion on Employee Performance and Career Development as an intervening variable. There is a negative and insignificant influence between Job Training on Employee Performance and Career Development as an intervening variable.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the extent of the influence of Competency and Work Discipline on Employee Performance, with Work Morale as an intervening variable in the Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang Kota Bukittinggi. The observed phenomenon shows that the performance of employees at the Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang Kota Bukittinggi has not reached the predetermined targets, resulting in employee performance still not being optimal. This research method uses quantitative methods. The data collection method used was a questionnaire with a population and sample of 61 employees at the Bukittinggi City Public Works and Spatial Planning Department. The analytical method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) 3.0. Based on the results of the hypothesis testing that has been carried out, it is concluded that: Competency has a positive and insignificant effect on Work Morale, Work Discipline has a positive and insignificant effect on Work Morale, Competency has a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance, Work Discipline has a negative and insignificant effect on Employee Performance, Work Discipline has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, Competency has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance through work morale as an Intervening variable, Work Discipline has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance through work morale as an Intervening variable.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how much influence Communication and the Work Environment have on Employee Performance with Work Motivation as an Intervening Variable in the Public Works and Spatial Planning Department of Bukittinggi City. The population in this study amounted to 61 respondents. The sample selection technique used a saturated sample and obtained a sample of 61 respondents. The method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) 3.0. The results of data analysis obtained: (a) Communication has a positive and significant effect on work motivation. (b) The work environment has a negative and insignificant effect on work motivation. (c) Communication has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (d) the work environment has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance (e) work motivation has a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance, (f) communication has a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance through work motivation (g) the work environment has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance through work motivation.

Abstract

.This research aims to find out and analyze the influence of Competency and Discipline on Employee Performance through Organizational Commitment. For District Education and Culture Service Office Employees. Agam. The sample used was a saturated sample, where the entire population was sampled, namely 75 respondents. The data collection technique is through a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Partial Least Square (PLS) was used to test the hypothesis in this research using SmartPLS 4.0. The results of this research show that there is a positive and significant influence of Competency on Organizational Commitment. There is a positive and significant influence of discipline on organizational commitment. There is a significant positive Competence on Employee Performance. There is a positive and significant Discipline on Employee Performance. There is a positive and insignificant influence of Organizational Commitment on employee performance. There is a positive and insignificant influence of Competency on Employee Performance through Organizational Commitment and there is a positive and insignificant influence of Discipline on Employee Performance through Organizational Commitment
