Abstract

Increased use of the internet has resulted in innovation in control systems. The Internet of things (IOT) is an innovation where some electronic devices can be controlled remotely by utilizing the internet to obtain a more efficient control system, and save time. So a tool based on the Internet of things (IOT) is made that uses a smartphone as a controller for household appliances such as lights and fans. Where this tool uses the Arduino Uno as the brain to do the work and the WIFI module ESP-01 as a connection for the wifi signal which is connected to a smartphone that has been programmed via Arduino software, while several trials of the Internet Of Things (IOT) tool were carried out, namely distance trials to be tested from the closest distance of 1 meter and the farthest 100 meters to control household appliances.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how much influence communication and teamwork through work motivation have on employee performance with intervening variables at the West Sumatra Province Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Service Office. This research is a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) model with the SmartPLS 3.0 analysis tool. The population and sample for this study were employees of the West Sumatra Province Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Service. There is a positive and significant influence between Communication on Work Motivation at the Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Service of West Sumatra Province. There is a positive and significant influence between Teamwork on Work Motivation at the West Sumatra Province Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Service. There is a positive and significant influence between Communication on Employee Performance at the West Sumatra Province Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Service. There is a positive and insignificant influence between Teamwork on Employee Performance at the Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Service of West Sumatra Province. There is a positive and insignificant influence between Work Motivation on Employee Performance at the West Sumatra Province Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Service.

Abstract

Pada lingkungan rumah, banyak musholla modern yang masih bergantung pada pengendalian manual, terutama untuk pengaturan energi dan pencahayaan. Tantangan utama dalam manajemen musholla adalah efisiensi energi, yang perlu segera ditangani. Karena lampu hanya menyala saat diperlukan, otomatisasi menghemat listrik dan biaya operasional. Penelitian ini membahas sistem pengendalian lampu di Musholla Ar-Rahma berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) menggunakan NodeMCU ESP8266. Sistem ini dirancang untuk mengatur nyala dan matinya lampu secara otomatis melalui koneksi internet dengan memanfaatkan teknologi Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT). Berdasarkan serangkaian pengujian yang dilakukan, sistem ini terbukti dapat beroperasi dengan baik sesuai dengan desain yang telah ditentukan. Pengujian dilakukan dengan beberapa skenario, di mana lampu berhasil dikendalikan melalui perintah yang dikirimkan dari aplikasi. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa fitur pengaturan jadwal otomatis untuk menyalakan dan mematikan lampu berdasarkan jadwal yang telah ditentukan. Ini akan memastikan lampu menyala saat diperlukan.
