Badan Amil Zakat Nasional Provinsi Sulawesi Barat telah mengimplementasikan Indeks Zakat Nasional (IZN) 3.0, sebagai wujud transformasi penguatan pengelolaan zakat. Pengembangan IZN 3.0. terintegrasi dengan dimensi makro dan dimensi mikro, dan diketahui bahwa dimensi makro telah berperan aktif memperkuat pengelolaan zakat di Sulawesi Barat meskipun alokasi APBD Provinsi Sulawesi Barat masih rendah untuk mendukung biaya operasional BAZNAS. Sementara, dimensi mikro belum berperan aktif memperkuat pengelolaan zakat. Rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan kepada BAZNAS dan Pemerintah Daerah Sulawesi Barat adalah memperkuat daya dukung dimensi makro dan dimensi mikro dengan menerapkan strategi-strategi diantaranya meningkatkan alokasi APBD dalam mendukung biaya operasional guna menjangkau 6 kabupaten, 69 Kecamatan, 74 Kelurahan dan 576 Desa, memperluas objek zakat melalui kolaborasi terintegrasi dengan korporasi, mengembangkan kanal digital zakat, memperluas basis donatur, meningkatkan kualitas pimpinan dan pelaksana zakat yang tersertifikasi, jangkauan zakat dapat diperluas mencakup sektor-sektor potensial bidang pertanian dan perkebunan, menerapkan manajemen risiko, menerapkan jadwal evaluasi dan monitoring rutin serta meningkatkan transparansi dan akuntabilitas pelaporan pengelolaan zakat. The National Zakat Agency of West Sulawesi Province has implemented the National Zakat Index (IZN) 3.0, as a form of transformation to strengthen zakat management. The development of IZN 3.0 is integrated with macro and micro dimensions, and it is known that the macro dimension has played an active role in strengthening zakat management in West Sulawesi even though the allocation of the West Sulawesi Provincial Budget is still low to support BAZNAS operational costs. Meanwhile, the micro dimension has not played an active role in strengthening zakat management. Recommendations that can be given to BAZNAS and the West Sulawesi Regional Government are to strengthen the support of the macro and micro dimensions by implementing strategies including increasing the allocation of the APBD to support operational costs to reach 6 districts, 69 sub-districts, 74 sub-districts and 576 villages, expanding zakat objects through integrated collaboration with corporations, developing digital zakat channels, expanding the donor base, improving the quality of certified zakat leaders and implementers, zakat coverage can be expanded to include potential sectors in the fields of agriculture and plantations, implementing risk management, implementing routine evaluation and monitoring schedules and increasing transparency and accountability in zakat management reporting.
