Abstract

This community service activity aims to analyze the improvement of the competitiveness of Productive Economic Enterprises (UEP) through the development plan of Taluy-Jo's first buy-and-sell E-commerce application in Kotamobagu City. UEP is social assistance from the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia provided to joint business groups to increase family income and social welfare. By integrating e-commerce technology, this community service activity aims to improve efficiency and market access for UEP with the planned use of the Taluy-Jo application. The research methods used include qualitative analysis with literature studies, surveys, and interviews with UEP owners and potential application users. This community service activity is expected to provide an in-depth understanding of the impact of e-commerce technology implementation on UEPs and provide strategic recommendations to improve their competitiveness. Thus, this research will make a positive contribution to local economic development, UEP growth, and e-commerce application development in Kotamobagu City area.

Abstract

The five affective traits of (1) interests, (2) attitudes, (3) self-concept, and (4) values are crucial for learning. Affective assessment seeks to: 1) ascertain students' interest in accounting subjects, which can then be used to boost interest if it turns out that it is low; 2) ascertain students' attitudes toward accounting subjects, as these attitudes can be used to determine the best learning strategies for students. 3) To be aware of one's own strengths and shortcomings, which can be utilized to establish the course that students should take to select their career and 4) To disclose personal values, the material is presented as positive and negative values, with the positive values being emphasized and the negative values being subdued.

Abstract

Education is one of the main pillars of a nation's development. To achieve this goal, a solid educational foundation is needed, and one of the key elements in the formal education system is a learning resource center. Formal learning resource centers have a strategic role in providing quality educational resources to support the learning process. Formal learning resource centers are a key element in the formal education ecosystem, and understanding the foundations of formal learning resource centers is a determining factor in responding to challenges and achieving quality education goals. In this context, the introduction has discussed the background, rationale, problems, research objectives and benefits of the research. The Learning Resource Center (PSB) in the context of formal education is not just a book warehouse; it involves a strong foundation for realizing quality education. The main goal of PSB is to achieve educational goals by providing resources that support the achievement of competencies and learning goals. Because by advancing the development of Human Resources (HR) and providing benefits for each country. Through understanding the background, we realize that formal learning resource centers must be able to adapt to changing times and technology to remain relevant. The research objectives brought a focus to understanding the basic concepts, goals, and role of formal learning resource centers. Overall, this research discusses the importance of a formal learning resource center as the main foundation in supporting learning in formal education institutions. Thus, a deep understanding of the basic concepts, objectives and role of formal learning resource centers is key in facing the dynamics of modern education. With this research, it is hoped that it can make a real contribution to the development of better educational policies and practices, as well as provide encouragement for further research in this area.

Abstract

In recent years, the role of renewable energy sources has increased in the amount of energy consumed worldwide. Much remains unknown about the components that influence renewable energy consumption. This article addresses this issue for the Southeast Asian countries that are members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC): Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam. Besides having major energy resources, the region is well suited for renewable energy development as it can measure the effects of carbon dioxide emissions, fossil fuels, energy imports, and economic growth. In this study, we found that there is no statistically significant difference in renewable energy consumption in previous years; economic growth and concurrent increases in carbon dioxide and fossil fuel emissions do not have a positive impact on renewable energy use in the OIC region of Southeast Asia; and the impact of energy imports has a significant impact on the consumption of renewable energy. In addition, how the findings of this study impact policy is discussed.

Abstract

Global capital markets are increasingly aware of the urgency of addressing climate change by implementing various policies to reduce carbon emissions. One increasingly popular approach is carbon pricing, which aims to encourage companies to reduce emissions by factoring environmental costs into their investment decisions. In Indonesia, the capital market is under pressure to follow similar steps, especially in light of the Paris Agreement and the Indonesian government's commitment to reducing carbon emissions. This research investigates the challenges and opportunities in implementing carbon pricing in the Indonesian capital market IDX Carbon. Through in-depth literature analysis, this research identifies the factors that influence the implementation process and its impact on capital market stakeholders, including investors, companies and regulators. One of the main challenges is the complexity of the Indonesian capital market structure, such as low liquidity, the dominance of certain sectors in the index, and a lack of environmental awareness among investors. However, there are huge opportunities to introduce carbon pricing, such as increasing transparency and reporting of carbon emissions, providing economic incentives for green performing companies, and increasing environmental awareness among investors. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide valuable insights for regulators and capital market players in designing effective policies to reduce carbon emissions and increase economic sustainability.

Abstract

This research is a quasi-experimental study conducted to improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities, one of which is through the use of the Self-Directed Learning (SDL) instructional model. The objectives of this study are to determine (a) the learning process using the Self-Directed Learning model; (b) the difference in improvement of students' mathematical problem-solving abilities between those using the Self-Directed Learning model and those receiving conventional (expository) instruction; and (c) students' attitudes toward mathematics learning using the Self-Directed Learning model. Data were collected using research instruments including tests in the form of mathematical problem-solving ability questions and non-tests such as student response questionnaires toward learning using the Self-Directed Learning model. This study was conducted at MAN 1 Gorontalo, with class X IPA-1 as the experimental class and class X IPA-2 as the control class, focusing on vector material. Based on the research results and n-gain data analysis, it was found that: (a) the description of the teacher and student learning process on quadrilateral vector material using the Self-Directed Learning model falls into the good category; (b) the improvement in mathematical problem-solving ability of students who received learning with the Self-Directed Learning model showed a moderate increase. Meanwhile, the improvement in mathematical problem-solving ability of students who received conventional learning showed a low increase. Therefore, there is a difference in the improvement of mathematical problem-solving ability between students using the Self-Directed Learning model and those using conventional learning; (c) most students who received learning using the Self-Directed Learning model responded positively to mathematics learning using this model.

Abstract

Efforts to improve the quality of human resources are carried out through learning activities. The learning that is expected is learning that can explore self-potential so that quality improvement can be realized. In learning there are learning models and methods. In this study, the learning carried out applies the direct learning model and the Kumon method. This descriptive study aims to describe the management of learning carried out by teachers in implementing direct learning models with the Kumon method, student activities during the learning process, student learning outcomes after the learning is implemented and student responses to learning and carried out at SMAN-1 Krian with the subjects of the study being students of class XI IPA 6 and mathematics teachers of class XI IPA 6. The results of the study are that the management of learning carried out by teachers is included in the good criteria, namely with a score of 3.03, student activities that are desired during the learning process other than irrelevant activities appear with a percentage of 90.09% with the dominant activity being listening / paying attention to the teacher's explanation, student learning outcomes in this study are out of 34 students, 31 students completed and 3 students did not complete. Classically, students completed with a percentage of 91.18%, the students' response to this learning was positive, namely out of 34 students, 75% expressed a positive response to the learning.
